Beaujolais Bistro
Beaujolais Bistro is a charming bistro located at 130 West Street in downtown Reno, Nevada. We serve authentic French cuisine made with the finest ingredients available such as Niman Ranch Meat, Wild Salmon, and organic, local vegetables. We have an exceptional winelist featuring wines from Kermit Lynch, Louis/Dressner, and Rosenthal. There is a full bar. Our private room can seat up to 36 guests and is available for private tastings.. We offer a nightly prix fixe menu; wine pairings are availble upon request.

"Food was really good and original. Menu was a little confusing. It was hard to tell what was an appetizer serving and what was an entree. We ended up ordering too much food. Unfortunately we weren't able to order dessert. Overall, it was a nice restaurant.."

"Parking is a huge problem in this run down neighborhood, but they are moving to a new location in summer 2013 so the parking situation should be solved. The food is uneven: sometimes excellent, sometimes it misses completely. Expect to have long waits between courses - it seems the chef could use more help. The menu is nice with good staples like steak-frites - but there are not enough choices on the menu, and the specials are often the same. It would be nice if they decided to print a "daily menu" like similar restaurants in the bay area instead of having to wait for the waiters to "tell" you what the day's specials are...."

"This is my third visit to Beaujolais Bistro. The food is absolutely terrific--I cannot recall when I had oysters as fresh and sweet as the ones I began my meal with. The lamb and garnishes were cooked to my preference and beautifully seasoned. The proprietresse is attentive to detail and solicitous to her guests; you could not ask for better service. Since my last visit, the wine list has undergone some trimming, but the quality and relative value remain intact. I will return when I'm next in Reno."

"We have been here many times since I found Beaujolais a few years ago. Coming from CA we always look forward to the foie gras. Was dreaming about it seared with delicious sauce but was informed that the preparation was different. Disappointed but we'll try it. Mushrooms, foie gras and phyllo dough. It was absolutely delicious. Just the beginning of our perfect dinner. My husband always has the duck, which didn't disappoint. I tried the pork belly, crispy skin and melt in the mouth pork. Lemon crepes to finish. Service was impeccable and so quiet, A very, very nice restaurant. Would absolutely recommend Beaujolais!"

"I had the pork belly as an entree, which was available in at least one other dish as a mixed plate. This was my first time eating this delicacy French-style, and I was unable to stop myself smiling as I took each bite, savoring the richness of the pork belly and marveling at how the kitchen crisped the skin, but left the meat and fat smooth and light. The pork belly was served with thinly sliced and sauteed apple, on a bed of red lentils. The server, when asked, paired our dishes with a glass of wine each, complementing the dishes wonderfully--white for my wife's phylo-wrapped fish and red for me."

"Quite the little French restaurant. The food was beyond description it was so good. We had the beef bourguignon and a chicken dish. Very expensive as" a la cart" but worth it. The leek "salad" was outstanding but too pricy for what you got, tho.
