"Cipollini falls into the "Best All Around" category for us Manhattanites who find ourselves in Nassau County. Conveniently located in Manhasset's upscale Miracle Mile shopping area, the casual Italian fare is authentic and delicious. From pasta and pizza for the little ones to more sophisticated dishes for the foodies in the crowd, Cipollini delivers with panache and style. All that, plus a decent bottle Rosso di Montalcino for under $50 make it the go-to standby."

"If you can ignore or stay away from the obnoxious bar scene of 40+ singles, you can have a very enjoyable meal at Cipollini. Starting with the superb bread that arrives at your table with olive oil, everything seems to click. Salads are well composed and entrees are prepared with care, whether meat, pasta or fish. While the wine list leaves something to be desired (I'm a wine geek with high expectations) you will probably find something that pleases you. BTW, most restaurants serve red wine too warm -- modern room temperature of 70 to 72-degrees is just plain hot -- and Cipollini is no exception. So, bring your own bottle. We like Cipollini for the great food and terrific service."

"super noisy; the gentleman next to me had to cup his hands and shout to his wife across the table. food was only fair and it was way too crowded; my husband's chair was bumped several times by waiters and customers. Nothing to rush back for."

"For a restaurant as busy as this gets, the management knows how to make people happy. Excellent service amidst the semi-chaotic pulse! Food was delicious, served in a timely manner by a pleasant unpretentious wait-staff. My Mom, wheelchair bound, was treated like a princess! Can't ask for more!!!"

"This is our 7th visit each time we bring new friends or family. The staff is great and this is one of the few restaurants that actually keep your reservations on time. You must try it out!
Thanks to Hector and Gerson"

"One of the most disappointing evenings we've had in a long time. The place, at 7 pm was jammed, especially at the bar area where you entrance, so you can barely walk into the restaurant. The tables are so close together that one almost touches the chairs of the adjoining table. The noise is relentless, and a request to turn down the music (which you couldn't really enjoy b/c it was inaudible over the voices) was greeted with a smirk as if to say "are you kidding?" All this would have been accepted if the food was fabulous, which it is not. We will never go there again even though it is literally 2 minutes from our home. Why restaurants like Cipolini become trendy defies reason. Maybe some social psychologist can figure it out."
