"The relaxed atmosphere. They never rush you and you feel as though you could stay for hours and they won't mind. The salad menu is great, especially the arugula with goat cheese. the soups are also outstanding. The "bento box" is super for those who might be on a tighter budget but still want the sophisticated ambience of a restaurant such as this."

"we had a very early dinner, yet our service was like it was fully packed with a line out the door. for e.g.: forgot our bread, despite beng asked multiple times the waiter finally brought it along with the appetizers, almost 20m after we sat down. almost gave me the wrong glass of wine, switched a beer from our table with the table behind us. his solution: he LITERALLY brought us the beer he had *just* poured the other table. we had to hunt him down to bring the children their dessert early - a standard esp when their main courses were brought with our apps. their food is fine for a neighborhood spot and they are nice, but continually incompetent waiter service."

"Caffe Grazie is one of our local favorites. The atmosphere is almost club-like and cozy, in a good way. The owners and help are so friendly- the food is always fresh and delicious and you won't get any attitude with a special request. They also have a nice selection of wines by the glass. "Set up a business dinner there and prior to it met with family for drinks while in town- the staff was very accommodating to set us up with the space we needed - a large table in a private setting upstairs to start for drinks- and where we just decided to stay after for our business meeting. Everyone was pleased with their choice of food (baked salmon and salmon penne both done well) and our guest loved his spaghetti and meatballs!

"I find Cafe Grazie a charming bistro that has several advantages. The bistro is near the Metropolitan Museum; whether you partake of their brunch (walnut pancakes are light, not too sweet -- just simply delish) or have sandwich, chances are you won't be disappointed.
The service is attentive and the ambience is pleasant; for a relatively small place, it never gets too noisy and you can always carry on a conversation without raising your voice."

"It was hard to find a Saturday brunch place in the nabe. grazie fit the bill. It opened at 11:00 plus we could order either brunch or lunch fare. One of our group had pancakes, another had a breakfast pizza and I had their "benno box" consisting of salad,

"Whether you prefer the wood trimmed bar area at street level or one of the two airy rooms upstairs (which I do) this is a comfortable place, well located for the Met or shopping Madison. The food is always good. The lunch is extremely reasonable for the very good service and food."
