We've been voted Best Brewpub by Philadelphia magazine, Best Bar & Grill/Microbrewery by the readers of Chester County Daily Local & Best Brewery/Restaurant by the readers of Main Line Today.
Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant is a non-smoking environment with smoking allowed in designated outdoor areas only, however cigar & pipe smoking is prohibited. Reservations & "Call Aheads" are accepted for lunch & dinner seven days a week. We accept all major credit cards & are handicapped accessible.

"The food was really good and the service was friendly. My only complaint is about the food runners. The food runners were friendly but they had no idea who got what meal and also they didn't know the names of the burgers we got. The one guy came out and he said, "well this one looks like it has peppers or something on it." In my opinion all staff should know the entire menu before they start working there.
Overall it was a nice night and I will be back."

"Having worked in restaurants, I know that on major holidays service and food can sometimes suffer because of the volume of customers. We had to ask a couple times for our wine and the food wasn't as good as the previous time I'd been there for lunch. I would go again on a non-holiday to see what it's normally like for dinner."

"The Iron Hill needs improvement.
We had the pleasure of sitting in the back dining area with a view of the rest room doors. You think they would build a wall to prevent this view from any dining area. This dining area was so dark that it was hard to see the menus and food. The seats were wooden and uncomfortable The restaurant was loud and cold. There was an hour wait for our meals.
Some people at our table even received their meals cold. We sent one meal back to heat over. The manager came out to apologize but did not offer any compensation."

"We were ecstatic to be seated 10 minutes before our reservation time on a busy Saturday night. The waitress was very knowledgeable of all the specials and explained to us the details. The sweet potato fries were cooked just right with the fresh sweet potatoes. The dipping sauces are home made. The chopped salad was a large portion enough for 2 to share with delicious home made blue cheese dressing . The barley crust barb b q pizza was baked so the crust was light and airy. I return again and again to the Media Iron Hill for it's great service , high quality ingredients and consistent but diverse menu. The beers have also expanded its horizons with some innovative brews."

"The reason to return is the beer selection, but the menu offerings have improved over the past few years, and the service is more consistent -- the timing of the entrees vs. the appetizers, for example. It is more like a proper restaurant now than a hit or miss dining experience. You can go to Iron Hill now and know that there are a variety of good dishes to select from along with the best beer selection in the area. OpenTable makes the dining experience possible with the confirmed reservation -- amazing how many people still walk in and wait 40 to 60 minutes!"

"Lunch on Saturday - beautiful day - lots of people in restaurant. VERY NOISY. Hard to find parking space. This is a fun place if you have a lot of time, are with friends, and like beer. For someone with time constraints because they are going to the theatre, or have older citizens with them, Iron Hill is not the place to visit. Food was good - not great, but I'll go again with a different set of expectations. Thanks for listening."

"I took my husband here for his birthday on a Friday night. We had 8 o'clock reservations and arrived about 10 minutes early. We were seated at 8 on the dime! I can't say that it was a romantic spot, but the food and beer were great and service was excellent. The ambiance was very energetic and can be lots of fun with a group of people."

"good food, reservations on weekends are ideal as the Sat. night wait would have been very long without one. Very good beer selection. Was surprise how big the place was! Many, many menu options -- the turkey burger was a little too peppery but the salmon salad was very good. Good meal out -- will be happy when one opens closer to us."

"I love Iron Hill! The restaraunt is nice, the food is very good and the beer is really good too. We even took advantage of the gluten free menu which had a great selection! (no GF beer though). The only problem the whole night was that our appetizer was brought very late and we had not even started when out main course arrived. Will definitely go back and would certainly recommend it . Oh, and Open Table was easy to reserve seating too. Will use that next time too."

"The beer selection improves with spring and summer. We had not been back for awhile in part because of the winter selections -- generally too dark and heavey and high alcohol content. Soon they will have the hefeweizen which they should have more often throughout the year. The cask ale was great, which is not always available. As for dining, our server, who we have had in the past, made all the difference. She was great. The food was consistent and good. We will come more in the summer. Just wish they could offer a decent special now that was not priced at $26 or $27 -- the dishes at this price range are just too hit or miss to justify ordering the pricey items. This is a place you go to for beer after all."

"We stopped here for dinner before going to the Hedgerow Theatre. Aside from the noise -- which was to be expected on a Saturday evening -- we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. And really, the noise did not detract from the delicious food. (And the great beer!) The service was courteous and attentive. We'd go there again -- but maybe not on a Saturday night. :-)"

They will also adjust the menu for picky eaters. You can go just for the bar scene or for desserts. In addition they have special fundraisers for non profits. The Delaware County Symphony members and friends who dined on this specific Wednesday and brought a special certificate provided for this event helped raise money for the DCS. 20% of the food bills went to this organization. "Parking is a problem but I'm sure in Media, every one has this problem. Food was good as well as our service. Had a good experience but since we live in New Jersey and your company opened an Iron Hill Brewery in our area, I doubt that we will be coming back to your place. The only reason we were there is because some of my family live nearby and the one that's near me has plenty of parking."
