Their goal is exquisite food in a casual, comfortable setting.
Only open since June of 2009, Bistro Rollin has already garnered great reviews from the New York Times and Westchester Magazine. Classic and Contemporary bistro food prepared with skill and passion along with exciting specials served by a skilled and enthusiastic staff with your dining enjoyment as their goal.
"We went for Mothers Day dinner, which can be a madhouse at some restaurants, but all flowed smoothly here. Wait staff were knowledgeable and always there when needed. Appetizers were outstanding - pea soup had just the right amount of sweetness; salmon tartare done simply and delicious. Entrees: spring lamb was perfectly medium rare and won rave reviews; arctic char was ok but could have used some green veggies. Desserts were delicious; cinnamon creme brulee got the highest praise. Small but interesting wine list. My only complaint: a French bistro should have great French bread; theirs was dry and tasteless."

"Chef Lozano is a gem in a Westchester sea of stones. His creativity soars with every dish. The regular menu's tartar appetizers are perfectly seasoned and fresh, and give the salmon or tuna an opportunity to entertain the palate. The duck was tender and flavorful, with respectful side purée and a delicious sauce. Try the sea bass special if it is on the menu. The vegetable accompaniments and gentle saucing respect the fish. OK, just try anything!"

"This Bistro gets glowing reviews. I was surprised by the ambiance based on reviews; the very low key level of service and changing service providers. There was not a greeter at the entrance as mentioned in reviews, the food was good but not notable. Our experience was lackluster and definitely not the BEST fRENCH RESTAURANT IN WESTCHESTER."

"We went with some friends who had not been to Bistro rollin before. We all had a great time. We had great food and were able to converse without yelling (as in some restaurants). Service was great and we never felt rushed.
Loved it."

"I went to Bistro Rolling to celebrate my Mom's birthday. It was a great meal and the food came out hot and full of flavor. The waiter and owners son came over throughout the meal to check in on us and the restaurant was hopping! I saw other reviews that were mixed but my experience was all positive and well worth the trip.
The mussels were fantastic and such a large portion but ate every bite!
I would go back again in the future and look forward to the next time."

"Seven of us came to this restaurant for Westchester Restaurant Week - a couple of the ladies had already eaten here and raved about the food. We were all in agreement about what a fabulous meal we all had - not only was the food outstanding but the service as well - everyone was so nice and accomodating. We will definitely be back."

"I thought the whole purpose of restaurant week was not only the menu but the prix fix -- there was no offer re a special price -- just special dishes -- I was suuprised to discover this fact."

"Happen to have been there on last day of pelham restaurant week. If you stick to that menu, food and experience is an excellent deal. The hanger steak was prepared perfectly. My husband had the duck which was presented beautifully and was tender and flavorful. He , btw, sis not order from 'special' menu. The wine was tasteful, yet expensive per glass. The apple tart dessert was light and delicious. The only awful part of the meal was the pork and pistachio pâté. UGH. It was presented poorly, the crostini were cold and bland and the pâté itself resembled spam out of a can... Although I never ate spam and tasted like cold frankfurter meat. It was terrible! I expected something totally different and was not pleased with that appetizer"

"No tarte tatin but the apple tart was better than average. Ambiance could use a little work. Staff was nice and service was satisfactory. Restaurant Week was a good buy. Otherwise the prices were expensive. $30 for duck is a little high. Older crowd mostly."

"I have been going there for a while and will think twice before I go again. The food was served not hot to all and the management coped an attitude when we asked for it to be warmer. Not a good way to treat repeat customers who bring 4 new patrons."

"Our group had a wonderful time! The food was great. I would suggest that the menu have a brief description because we were reluctant to try some items because of the titles. But once the food arrived at the table it looked and tasted great. (i.e. the winter root soup was a puree and many of us did not order it because we thought of a tradition soup with beets ans such in a broth)"

"The food was very good. I had pork roast with root vegetables which were very tasty. My husband enjoyed fish and mashed sweet potatoes. The first courses of very fresh salad leaves and the pate campgne were excellent. The deserts were just O.K.
The ambiance could be considerably improved. It needs better lighting and a more cheerful setting."

"Bistro Rollin never fails to please. Our waiter remembers our drinks each time we go, even if we haven't been there in a while. The food is always outstanding and prepared exactly as requested. My favorite local spot."

"Service is always attentive; our waiter always seemed to be there when we wanted him. The food was excellent, as it always is. My husband's burger was perfect; the fries were a bit salty but still some of the best in the area. My pork chop was delicious, tender and huge - enough to bring home for a second meal! This is our favorite restaurant."

"We arrived early and were seated near the door on a cold night. My companion asked for the empty table behind ours and was told that there was an 8:45 reservation for that table and since we were there at 6:45 we might not be done in time. Fifteen minutes later another party was seated at that table. My friend used her husband 's coat to keep her legs warm but I cannot understand why we weren't given the other table as we arrived for an early dinner and had a cold table for dinner."

"Nice ambiance, but food was nothing to write home about. We ordered Hanger Steak. My husband is a butcher and what we got was not Hanger Steak, but some thick chewy cut of meat, nothing resembling what is was supposed to be. Once the place got crowded, they ran out of desserts that we had ordered and we had a long wait until the chef made more. I had high hopes, but would not return."

"Went on Valentine's Day which had a special menu. Food was excellent - very flavorful and perfectly prepared; however, for the pre-fix price of $60 per person (a bit pricey), 6 oysters should have been given as an appetizer portion, not 4. Waiter started out good but as more people came in, he got forgetful."

"I always have a great meal and a good time when I go to this restaurant. The waiters are very attentive and knowledgeable. I am gluten free and I am confident that the waiters know the ingredients in the food and if they don't they always check with the chef. To me that is very important."

"Everything we ordered was fresh and generally well prepared. Mussels were clean and fresh, hanger steak was a bit tough and more rare than medium rare. Service was pleasant but a bit strained due to a large private party. Buttermilk panna cotta was served without the fruit soup or meringue cookie. Apple tart was delicious."
