"GREAT STEAKS..AWESOME SEAFOOD" - The Warehouse has consistently been highly rated by the nationally known "Zagats Dining Guide" and is one of the most popular restaurants in Old Town. "I enjoyed my meal but given the choices of so many other interesting restaurants in the area I felt like I didn't make a great choice but a good choice. The restaurant no doubt is established but needs an upgrade.....The menu had two salmon entres. I would have preferred one and choice of another fish choice perhaps haddock. The drinks I thought were expensive.....but I did enjoy the canjun slate of menu choices and the jabalaya dish was excellent."

"We enjoyed a Saturday brunch to celebrate a special occasion. We had a nice meal and all three of our kids (who are fairly picky eaters) enjoyed the meal they ordered right off the menu (no kid menu). The staff was also very nice to honor the request we made through Open Table regarding our seating arrangement."

"Glacier slow and indifferent service on a night with more than a couple of empty tables. After an hour and a quarter we practically had to body slam a staff person to get an update on our order. Meals magically appeared and while the salmon entree was perfectly cooked, it was not the entree ordered. Asked to see a manager and have the meal comp'ed.
This place has long been a favorite for very good food as well as for sentimental reasons. Maybe our experience was a one off. But I am less inclined to return or recommend."

"The place was surprisingly crowded for a Sunday (there was a race that morning) yet, my "Open Table" reservation got us sat immediately, even though our server was a little behind. He acknowleged this and even in the midst of his being busy, he gave us the time and attention we needed with questions, etc. My only negative comment is for the non "Open Table" tables around us. Before our meal came, bread and butter was delivered to our table only...much to the disconcern to those around us. I have a feeling that having the Open Table reservation gave us a slightly elevated status so that our review would be good..it is, but all people should receive the same service (i.e. bread and butter) no matter how they reseved their table."

"The service is always sub par, but the food is fantastic! So I keep coming back! It always takes a long time to get a server to come to your table, but this time he was good at refilling drinks, so that was a definite plus! when he entrees, I had to ask for the appetizers we ordered. Then had to ask for the strawberries that came with the meal. I've been here 5 times before and will keep coming back because I love the food, I just don't expect much on the service."

"The ambiance of the restaurant was good however the food was almost average. I had the crab soup which was decent, the caesar salad which was "just ok" and the crabcakes which were "Ok" at best. "We enjoyed brunch at the Warehouse Bar & Grill on Easter Sunday. It was the second year in a row for me and my family to do so.
Last year we had really great meals and the service was terrific. This year it was just as good.

We had reservations but the place was packed when we arrived so we waited about 5 minutes for a table. Raj, the maitre'd, was very friendly and he another team member were very efficient and seated 3 parties within a few minutes. The place was really bustling but we still felt like we were receiving personal attention.
Kiwi (yes that's her real name) was our server and she was terrific. We had Easter menu specials and they were delicious.
We highly recommend Warehouse Bar & Grill."

"The Warehouse has been around for many years and has always been a reliable place for great food and atmosphere. However in the past year they have notched it up! Everytime we visit, the food has been outstanding. Its creative, fresh, and wonderfully presented. The noise level is a bit high, but this reflects how popular the place has become. We love living in Old Town, and having the Warehouse nearby is a great bonus."

"I'm surprised at some of the negative reviews expressed about the Warehouse. I have been coming to the Warehouse for years and can honestly say that I have never had a bad meal. The service has been uniformly excellent as well. The seafood is always very good, and the she crab soup is the best in the area. I plan to keep coming back for more!"

"We keep returning to The Warehouse, often with a new visitor in tow. The very substantial menu is always enhanced by "specials:" too bad a diner can order only one at a time! The soups are so superb one could make a meal out of any one of them! Service is always professional and friendly, and prices are very reasonable. No MUZAK is blasted into diners' ears, another big plus. The only draback is the acustics: conversations from adjoining tables tend to get loud; hard to fix!"

"I can't say enough about The Warehouse Bar and Grill. Having only heard about it while seated on a shuttle bus going to a nearby hotel, this was the first experience dining there and I was totally blown away.
From the moment you walked in you knew it would be a special dining experience.
Our server was friendly, attentive and right on the mark and the food beyond compare.

"We couldn't understand our server. Had the surf & turf and my filet was over cooked and too peppery. Crab cake was awesome though. Really quiet and not very kid friendly. Entrees don't even come with a salad. My other guests had the jambalaya and the salmon. Salmon was delicious but the jambalaya was bland."

"This was our second time back and we were excited to be there. However, it was very loud, very chaotic, and the host seemed to be totally overwhelmed. Our appetizers were mediocre, and the entrees took about 45 minutes or so to be brought out. Our server didn't even apologize or check in with us during the lengthy wait. Food wasn't very impressive. (I got the haddock special "topped with crab meat" and I had to hunt for the few shreds of crab.) Totally overpriced and disappointing. My husband was given the wrong glass of wine, but didn't care enough to point it out. They vacuumed right next to us during the meal! Perhaps this place is better during the week or before/after the dinner rush."

"Great menu. Great food. Loved the ambiance and decor. Waiter was not attentive. After ONE HOUR, I had to ask the manager what happened to our order. Food was delicious, except for roasted potatoes on my plate that had clearly been overcooked hours earlier. Waiter was ambivalent. Made them correct overcharge for wine. NOT a place for kids and please don't bring them. Would give restaurant a 2nd chance just because the food was delicious and I liked the restaurant. Would ask for a different waiter."

"We came here because it had decent reviews on Open Table, and was a bit less expensive than other restaurants in Alexandria. Unfortunately, there was an error in our order when it was came out. We ordered two filet sandwiches and a steak entree. The sandwiches, when they came, were not prepared as we had requested. We flagged down a server (not our server) and let him know that there was an issue. He looked at us and asked, "Well, what do you want me to about it?" We asked him get out server, who seemed put out that we were bothering him to correct our meal. When it was brought out again, one sandwich was very overcooked, and the waiter again seemed miffed that we were bothering him about it. Overall, very poor service, mediocre food."
