"Normally I enjoy eating at Papa Razzi. They have decent "chain" Itallian food. Tonight was another story. After we were seated, we watied over 15 minutes for someone to approach our table and that was only after my husband went up to complain. There were only two other tables of diners and one group in the party room. The server who came out to replace our missing server did a great job, but was never quite able to compensate for everything else. The food that night was only OK. The appetizers and salads came out at the same time, the salads were missing some ingredients. The entrees tasted as if they were prepared in advance and just reheated."

"Have been here many times, Met friends today on my recommendation. Foo was disappointing not as good as other times. My friends crfepes were ovecooked and bunt at the ages; my chicken as overcooked and kind of rubbery. Service as always was very good."

"The food is very good. The service was ok. Our waitress didn't tell us her name and she couldn't pronounce some of their menu items. Not a big deal but you should be able to pronounce Cacciatore if you work in an Italian restaurant."

"I took my girlfriend to Papa Razzi for her birthday and the service was excellent, pleasant and timely! The server was delightful, the food was incredible and the mood is great! I had the Penne Con Pollo, which was dleicious!

"Good food but the service is lacking. Drink brought on rocks vs straight up & it always takes forever to get the drinks. Waitress didn't tell us specials until we asked, didn't clear unless we gave her dishes or glasses. I always get novice wait staff - must be big turnovers. They need to work on their service!"

"Service was slow given that the restaurant was not at capacity. Wife ordered pasta - was hot and cold like you would get from being nuked in a microwave. I had veal - dish was great except is was a very small portion - even by veal standards. We like the place but this time it was so so. We went on Mother's Day - maybe the main chef was home with Mom :-)"

"We made reservations on OpenTable and ate early (10 am) and Papa Razzi had plenty of service staff on hand for a busy day. The waitress was very nice and helpful, sweet and unpretentious. Other servers also attended us. The restaurant looked great. Food was good, though I wish I'd ordered something besides my Spanish eggs - it was presented well, but the eggs themselves..not as spicey as I'd hoped. Mom's scallops and junior's pizza looked excellent. If you want a good meal in a nice place with attentive service, Papa's is good choice."

"Wrong salad served
Waitress had to come back to ask what I had ordered, which was a good thing because she wrote down something other than what I asked for. Some how she realized that, perhaps when she was placing the order
Waitress was hard to hear and clearly she thought she was quite charming, which she may have been but we could not hear when she was saying. But she seems to laugh at her own quips often."

"The pasta dish I ordered was extremely spicy, although nothing on the menu indicated it would be. The waiter took it back and offered me a free glass of wine, which I accepted. The second attempt at the pasts was still very spicy, but acceptable.
When the check arrived, I saw that I was being charged for the "free glass of wine". So we needed to correct that. Previously my wife and I had good dining experiences at Paparazzi in Framingham, but now I am reluctant to return."

"We chose Papa Razzi for Mother's Day because they have a brunch menu. We got there and were seated and were given dinner menus. We asked about their brunch menu and were told they weren't doing brunch. It was 11AM. We were forced to either choose from the dinner menu or try to find another place to eat at the last moment. We stayed and ate but nobody was impressed by the food. Average at best.
We had all been expecting a nice Mother's Day brunch and were very disappointed they weren't serving it today, with no notice anywhere. People want brunch at 11AM on Mother's Day, not dinner, and a mediocre one at that. Luckily our server was nice. That was the only positive.
We probably won't be back."

"Wow, what a disappointing night! We dine here regularly and usually find it consistently delicious. Don't know what happened tonight! Three out of four of our meals arrived incorrect and had to go back to kitchen to be re-made. When they re-arrived, they were still slightly incorrect (side dishes were not right), and my Veal Parm was soggy and tasted like flour. Everyone else was halfway through their meal at this point (and not really enjoying them), and we could see there was trouble in the kitchen, so my meal got packed up for the dog... We will be back, of course, as this is such a rare thing for this restaurant!"

"The service was horrible. Our server was MIA. We waited over 1 hour for our entrées and finally gave up. The manager told us twice our entrées would be 'right out'. They must use an alternative clock. I sensed management believed they were doing this customer a favor. I would like to think this experience was an anomaly but I do not think so as I had a similar experience at another location. I have removed this restaurant from my list of possibilities. You should too!"

"I selected Papa Razzi for a work celebration event because I had great experiences there before. Perhaps it was a mistake to go on Moonday - it seemed like the B team was in the kitchen and the wait staff was in training. My meal (chicken marsala, a.k.a.Valdostana) was so tough it was inedible. I had asked for asparagus instead of broccoli and hold the potatoes. I was served all three! By the time dessert got to the table, we had to have it boxed to go because we had to rush back to a meeting. In order to even get the check, we had to flag down the maître d'. Water was not automatically refilled. The coffee was terrible. Very disappointing experience. I will not be back."

"The server was excellent but the kitchen was ridiculously slow. We waited 45+ minutes for our food and although we were repeatedly offered more drinks, we were never offered any more bread. The food was split, three meals were just so-so, one meal was outstanding. The server did bring us a large complimentary sundae when she brought the check. It was a nice gesture but I think it's a bit odd to bring a "shared dessert" to 4 adults sitting at a table. PapaRazzi is a good option for a lot of people because the menu is very diverse. I've eaten there a few times before but never on a Saturday night and the service and food were always better."

"Our table was ready when we arrived. The restaurant is one large open room and very noisy. The food was very good with large portions. The wine list was quite pricey. The brownie dessert was more than enough for four people. It became apparent that our waiter was new, but he tried hard. One appetizer arrived at the same time as our entrees. "For any of you that are gluten intollerant, Papa Razzi is amazing when it comes to accomodating gluten free diners. With the exception of VERY FEW dishes, they can make anything on their menu GF, and they take it very seriously; the manager visits the table and delivers your meal. They even offer a surprisngly good gluten free bread in addition to their normal bread, just ask for it.
Aside from these GF accolades, the menu offers great Italian (and other) options, and the consistency and quality is excellent. Good wine list and great, attentive staff."

"The food was very good, but the service was very slow despite the fact that the restaurant was not crowded at all. Also there were two occasions where part of our order did not arrive correctly as ordered. I have been to PapaRazzi in Wellesley and had a much better experience!"

"Table booked for a birthday meal. Our waitress was okay the only thing I was not impress with was that she came and started cleaning the empty plates before we had all finished. Was trying to talk to my friends and felt we were being hurried up to finish our meals."

"The food was excellent. The service was attentive without being intrusive. We wanted to have a leisurely night and not be rushed. Our waitress, Despina, was excellent in timing the courses, clearing the table, refilling drinks, etc. Our party of four had a wonderful evening and will surely return."

"The food was terrific -- good for the meat eater, the fish eater, and the vegetarian in our group. Our server was a sweetheart. However, the timing was a little off almost all night. We've been to the restaurant many times before and never had that problem, so the reason was not clear. It was not crowded."

"My major complaint was that the food comes out much too fast. we had not even finished our appetizers when the entrees were served. It was much to rushed, particualrly for a Monday night where they did not need to turn the table. It could have been much more pleasant had we not been so rushed."
