"An excellent experience for Mother's Day Brunch. The food was amazing and the service spectacular. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to experience fine food in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere with exceptional service. 5 stars across the board!"

"What a beautiful Sunday brunch! This is really one of the truly special things to do in Richmond. The Jefferson Hotel is elegant and TJs maintains that standard . My reservation was lost and it took some time for the hosts to decide what to do , but we were seated and had a lovely time. The variety of food on the brunch buffet is spectacular. Coffee is great and the champagne flows. I'll be back for sure!"

"We were very pleased with our experience. It was my wife's 70th. birthday and she was very happy with the results. The service was excellent, the flowers I ordered were delivered on time, and the food was delicious. We will return!"

"My sister, brother and I just took our mother to TJ's for lunch for her 88th birthday. She was thrilled by the beauty of the hotel's decor, especially the lobby with the marble columns and elegant staircase. The dining room in TJ's was lovely, with white tablecloths. Mom was all dressed up. She had chocolate milk, the crabcake platter, and creme caramel for desert. We were pleased that she loved it and ate virtually all of it. My sister, brother and I all had the special: a fabulous Barramundi fish in a delicious sauce, with aparagus and tasty, tiny potatoes of different colors. The waitress was excellent, and was very sweet and attentive to our elderly mother. It was a great way to celebrate a special occasion. Cynthia G"

"This brunch was just what was needed for a very rough trip to Richmond. The Jefferson Hotel is absolutely gorgeous! TJ's Sun. brunch is done smack in the center of the main room. Vaulted ceilings, old vintage walls/decor just incredible. The service was impeccable. Jackie was warm, welcoming, & just rocks. The manager on duty Chauncey is just as awesome. We arrived early to grab a cocktail before, but bar doesn't open til 4pm (brunch was at 1pm/arrived at 12). Chauncey was more than happy to sit us at the bar & make us our drinks. We got a chance to chat with him & found out that since it was our first time we would be seated upstairs. I wasn't a fan of that since the food is all downstairs & he changed that. Love it!!!! thank you so much"

"TJ's located in the Jefferson Hotel has a modest but ecclectic menu for lunch. The hotel was built in grand style and in itself is worth the visit. TJ's is the icing on the cake."

"Our group enjoyed the ambiance and delicious and varied offerings at the Sunday brunch. We had excellent service too. However, I booked for the group and was unaware of the $55 pp. price. It might be helpful to have that information available when one calls to make a reservation or to confirm it."

"Asparagus soup of the day was cold. By the time waitress brought new soup, entrees arrived. Soup was bland and needed salt. Entree of the day, salmon, was so salty it was inedible. Told waitress and nothing was done to accommodate. Underwhelming menu. Old and old-fashioned decor - carpet and chairs need to be re-done. Novice servers in an historic hotel - doesn't make sense. Will never go back or recommend."

"My 3rd time for Sunday Brunch at The Jefferson Hotel and it is still my favorite place ever for brunch. Last time I went a lot of the food was not very hot but this time, everything was perfect. Just wish my stomach were bigger! Our waitress was the absolute best!"

"Hard to judge a restaurant when it's a "serve yourself" brunch buffet environment. The food was good and presented very nicely but didn't knock my socks off. Great ambiance and excellent service from the staff. I appreciated the fact that the champagne was available but not "pushed"."
