"What can I say? The food was fantastic. Our dinners at the Harvest room have always been prefectly cooked, the sauces are wonderful. Presentation is suberb. Desserts are out of this world. We travel fequently. The Harvest room is a restaurant where we have never been served a meal that is less than fantastic. I believe this is a compliment to the chef & the person serving the meal. Before a a meal leaves the kitchen it should be checked to make sure each plate is as it should be. I believe this is done. The ambiance is just right. You feel very comfortable in your surroundings. You can carry on a conversation without difficulty."

"The food is very good, once you have waited in line to get what you need. I would definitely say overpriced based on the service. Had to wait about 10 minutes and the host table before someone came to get us a table or acknowledge that we were there. Also had to wait again at host table when ready to leave since our "server" never brought us a bill.
I would go there again, possibly, for a special occassion, but for $60.00 for two people, it is a bit outrageously priced. Throw in an open bar and some better service and I would begin to think about it again, but otherwise forget it!"

"Dinner prices aren't cheap, with entrees starting at $26, but the food and presentation were good, and the portions generous. Great selection of deserts, which we declined because we were too full. Service was attentive, but slow."

"All the nicer area booths were taken so only ones left were viewing the kitchen with that light and food trays viewed, very noisey conversations. So we moved to the open bar area prior to entrace, which was too quiet there and all alone- and then kids came in making noise in the bar area. Bad ambiance! Those end booths should be covered better in main dining area. Felt uncomfortable and awkward especially with food prices so high!"

"It was just ok. Our food was good but cold. Because we were all so hungry we continue to eat it. When the waitress ask if everything was ok we explained to her that the food was cold but good. My husband was the only one to send his steak back to be warmed up. The girl apolgized and took care of his steak. Moments later a female manager heard our feed back and when it was time for our bill we were credited for our drinks and dessert. That was a nice gesture and we were fine with that. I think they had a party to serve during this time, and our order just got lost in the making."

"The Caesar Martini which my wife and I shared was very good. The entrees also were very good. I had the Pheasant and my wife had the Prime Rib. The sides were average. Vegetables were bland and didn't seem fresh. The potato my wife had was dry. We did not get a dessert, had no room after the substantial meal, but they looked very good. The atmosphere was very nice and our server Nicole was very friendly and accomodating. I also liked the fact that they claim to use local merchants for their menu."

"We had an 8:00 Reservation which was on time. Sat at the bar for a drink, bartender was good but then he disappeared.Food very good, except the wait staff was very, very under staffed and did not measure up to the ambiance or the class of the restaurant. Dim, Der, Doe's, grabbing plates and all of the dishes at the same time off the table, reusing the same silver wear, saying sorry often. My suggestion is to have a professional wait staff which will help bring in more people more frequently and repeat business, I don't think we will come in to eat again even though the food was great. Disappointing,wanted to find a nice place.We live in the area and love the convenience of Pheasant Run and the comedy club (which we go to frequently."

"The restaurant was warm and inviting. My server was excellent and attentive The Pumpkin Bisque was excellent as was the Prime Rib. They also have an extensive wine list. I would definately be returning to try other items on the menu."

"For those living in the western suburbs, a great place to dine is The Harvest Restaurant at Pheasant Run Resort. Diners often forget to look at dining establishments inside a hotel or resort setting. This one is a hidden gem. We love this place for special occasions. The ambiance is casual yet sophisticated. The food is always perfectly done. Service is attentive and helpful. I love to recommend this place to locals who always say "Gee, I never thought of going there...!""
