"We tried the three course menu and it was a great choice! The menu choices were enough to try out the restaurant. Drinks were good as well and the service was welcoming. Will be back again for sure!"

"Hadn't been to Cork & Fin for well over a year, and while past experiences were simply 'Okay', this visit was outstanding. The food was fabulous (we understand there is a new chef?) and we were lucky enough to have Rodney serve our table. His food & wine knowledge mixed with quick wit & polite demeanour made our evening very memorable. We'll be back very soon!"

"Dinners at Cork and Fin are always a great time and great food; NOT the case for brunch. The food is actually bad on all accounts. Oysters that taste off, the worst eggs benedict I have ever had and not to mention the ingredient that was missing from my dish. When I asked about my missing braised kale, I was told they forgot to tell me that the menu has changed and no more kale. For a brunch menu that's only a few weeks old, I find that hard to believe. I would not go back from brunch. It's also very quiet (understandably)."

"We dined here on a Friday evening, and where wholly underwhelmed. The service was sloppy, with forgotten items and a general lack of attention to our well being. The shaved pork belly oysters tasted like a cup of sea water and the moules were ridiculously salty. What a shame, as we know it has delivered in the past."

"My husband and I visited Cork & Fin for brunch while visiting Vancouver. The choices on the menu were so incredible, we had to order two things and split them. We shared the croque madame with crab. The egg was runny, the crab was fresh and sweet and it was served with a nice side of greens dressed with lemon juice which was perfect to cut the richness of the dish. We also split a dish which was RIDICULOUS. It was lobster hash served with a poached egg on top that was accompanied by pork belly, house cured smoked salmon and housemade smoked sausage. We devoured it and were in heaven. The brunch drink list was also inventive. The bloody mary with a freshly shucked oyster and grapefruit mimosa were excellent. This is a must."

"The brunch was amazing. MMM lobster hash was delicious, so was the crab sandwich w/ fried egg on top. Well balanced plate and decent price for the level of quality food. Loved the classic rock playing. Really made for a comfortable, credible atmosphere. Refreshing not to hear the same old electronic chill music. I will definitely be back. Can't wait to come for dinner."

"It was our first time to Cork and Fin, and the ambience is very nice. The food was good. Wines were good. It wasn't excellent and it was very, very small portions. We ordered the 3 courses and wine pairings. I'm not sure if they reduce the size of each serving in half but we both left feeling less than full. To be fair, our favourite go-to place is The Flying Pig so we were comparing it to there, and you can not. I've always wanted to try Cork and Fin, I'm glad we went, but there are too many great restaurants still left to try so it's unlikely that we will go back."

"Went here for my girlfriend's birthday just the two of us. She was impressed by the menu and wine list, but I didn't really agree. I ran into a full red hot chili pepper in the oyster ceviche which pretty much ruined the course for me. For the third course I had the ling cod which was too salty but otherwise nicely cooked, although I didn't care for the tartar. I really liked the prix fixe menu choice with the wine parings, a really cool idea that my girlfriend and I agreed on. After the meal we were given bubbles for the occasion and some cake! Even I'll admit that was a very nice touch."

"Chill, good ambiance, great service, lovely curry mussels that compare to the best (in my opinion) in the city. Had a great quiet dinner with 3 friends on a Thursday evening and the place had a steady flow of patrons, good energy."

"Easily the worst restaurant I've been to in Vancouver.
They took the reservation for 1:30pm on a Sunday. When we arrive, they tell us they are closing in 30 minutes and we need to order now. The speaker right by my ear was blown, so it made a horrible noise. When asked "what's up with the speaker?" They said it's broken and no offer to fix or turn it off.
Our entire party of 6showed up around 1:45pm (the reservation was for 6 people) when our server came to the table and said we need to order. We said we needed two minutes to look at the menu and her response was:
"That's not going to work for us"
All of us previously worked in the industry and know very well that this is unacceptable."

"Our waiter was amazing. He was very friendly and waived our corkage fee as we brought in some really nice wine that we share with the staff. The food was great, very enjoyable. Would definitely recommend."

"I really enjoyed my dinner at cork and Finn. Everyone was super friendly and very accommodating to any need we had. Food was delicious and the cocktails were well made. As someone who works in the gastown service industry I will definitely be recommending this place. Thanks for the great experience and I will be back again."

"Walking in, this place just feels good. The old balcony with original newell posts and the lovely bar tucked underneath add to the warm, inviting vibe. Food was excellent, from cocktails to appetizers to mains to dessert (the olive oil ice cream is remakable)and service by Rodney was professional and perfect. Highly recommended!"

"everything was fine, just not outstanding. the food was small and dissapointing. the wine list was fine. i am a tough critic though. the music was really off, didnt suit the room. if i could change a few things it would be- offer a prix fix menu of 2 items for each course and have it on a card separate from the regular menu, that way the servers dont have to explain how the menu works everytime, not so romantic."
