A cool relaxed atmosphere where cocktails and patrons are king, The Glendon offers a little something for everyone. Specialty drink and martini menus are tailored to the calorie and cost conscious (ladies take note: diet sodas and reduced calorie spirits abound). Double nightly happy hours (at 5:00 PM and 11:00 PM) cater to the after work crowd, daters, and late night denizens. Signature cocktails will incorporate The Glendon style, comfortable and chic, with a few old fashioned high-balls thrown in for good measure. And, to create a hint of the amorous, wine sold by the glass is listed by first date, second date, or third date.
Foodies will be equally impressed. The Glendon features full lunch and dinner cuisines serving California bistro comfort food. For those craving a midnight snack, reduced price appetizers will be served until last call. Diners are encouraged to save room for dessert. Pastry chef Renee Faris of TLC’s “Cake Boss” fame has signed on.
"I love this place. We've eaten there many times and have always had terrific food and service. The only complaint I have are the seats. Every time I sit down, I feel like I'm at a level too low to eat, and I'm 5'9" tall. However, if that's my only complaint, they're doing a good job of otherwise satisfying their patrons."

"It's a fun and friendly restaurant serving good food with a hip bar flair. The service is very attentive and personal. The noise level can get rather high when full."

"Picked it for a post-UCLA concert hangout for a group of 10. The food is middle of the road enough that picky eaters and vegetarians will be ok. Decent service; would return for a similar group outing but not for a regular small group dinner."

"I went here for a lunch meeting. We were thankful to find a great Westwood location on such short notice. The staff at the Glendon was great. We were promptly seated upon arrival. Always a plus. Everyone from the host to the wait staff made us feel welcome; giving us enough time to decide on a selection, but not being more than whisper away. Our waiter was helpful in helping us make a selection from the menu, and our food was warm when served. The only down side we experienced was the seating. The booth seat I sat in was overly depressed causing me to become sort of stuck in it. My companion's chair was unstable to the point they felt as if they would fall."

"We went with a group of 6 before a UCLA basketball game. They have a fun drink list, and the drinks were fresh and delicious! We ordered multiple small plates and appetizers for the table to share so that we could sample many different things, and all were flavorable and tasty. Our waiter was very personable and efficient, and got us our food quickly so that we could get to the game on time. Everyone in our group said it was excellent!"

"Food was fine, but we received incredibly poor, slow service. Partly due to our server being clueless, but mostly due to the fact that the restaurant was devoting all of its attention to the UCLA men's basketball team - who were seated shortly after us and who finished their dinner before we were served our food. This was especially poor treatment of my very hungry and very pregnant wife.
Never again."
