"Restaurant was very quiet and still seemed like a hotel coffee shop even though the waiter was wonderful, very attentive and friendly and the food was outstanding. The décor was sparce and not up to par with the service and food caliber"

"Our family went to Zink Kitchen + Bar for Mother's Day Brunch. The food was very good and the staff was very attentive. The only issue we all had was the price. Even though the price was the industry standard and the food was worth the price. I called ahead and the hostess or whoever answered the phone said they were not doing a special Mother's Day Brunch, so I sort of expected the price to be the same as the regular brunch. Once we sat down and walked through the food items we knew this was a special and that the price would be adjusted as such. Just would have been nice to have a heads up when I called the truth would have been nice to know."

"the other reviews on here were so positive I was excited to try this out. We took a party of 8 for mothers day dinner and none of us were impressed at all. This is basically a typical hotel restaurant that is overpriced for the food and service we encountered. The ambiance is pretty nice for a hotel restaurant, but, other than that, the food and service are below average."

"I took my wife out for her birthday and we left very disappointed. The reviews prior were good and I have no idea how. Food had no taste and the service was sub par. For the price it was nowhere near value. Honestly the only way I would eat here again was if I was stuck at this hotel with no car and Jimmy Johns didn't deliver. There are plenty of good restaurants in the tech center area, avoid this one."

"This was our second visit to Zink. Great appetizers and salads but the main courses were just okay. Dessert was nothing to write home about either. Not sure if we'll go back for just appetizers and salads."

"Wow is about the first thing that comes to mind. It is not a place you would drive by and find since it is tucked away beneath and behind a hotel but wow! I read the reviews and wanted to try it. The small plate to start was the heirloom tomato plate. It had lightly fried tomatos, onions, mozzerella and pesto. The flavors were incredible. We had the Vietnamese Chicken Clay Pot and the Teres Major steak and they were really good. The green beans were a little too spicy for me. And to finish, the de-constructed German Chocolate Cake. You just have to try that. It is just what it says, all the ingredients but not put together. One of the best desserts I have ever had. You have to try this place. The service was just excellent."

"This gem is hidden in the lower level of the Double Tree hotel and offers a unique and delicious seasonal menu. If you not staying at the hotel, enter through the west side and avoid the indoor pool."

"This was our first time to Zink. We really enjoyed the creative menu and friendly, professional staff. The menu is very intricate and sophisticated, so really take your time ordering and asking the waiter for assistance. We had the Vietnamese chicken in the clay pot, the veal steaks and the prosciutto wrapped prawns. The veal portion was a little small, but the others were wonderful. The salads were very big even after splitting them. The free form key lime pie defies description, the next time I'm stuck on I-25, I'm running in there to order one for the road. It is absolutely delicious."

"We had a very good meal. I had the veggie burger served with a nice side salad which was excellent. My friend had the chicken Caesar which was huge. Could have easily been split. For dessert, they brought us a complimentary birthday (with candle) "deconstructed" Key Lime pie which was fabulous! Wait staff is personable and very attentive, although there weren't too many people in the restaurant for lunch at that time. I would go again."

"This restaurant is truly a gem, and it exceeded all of our expectations. We live nearby and are always looking for restaurants offering good value for money. This place certainly delivered. The portions are large, and the food is fresh and perfectly executed. It is obvious that the chef puts a great deal of heart and soul into his cooking. In addition, the service is friendly and attentive, and the place is spotlessly clean. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. We will definitely return and likely soon."

"We had dinner here on a snowy night after a big storm hit all day. The restaurant only had about 5 tables which we tied to the storm keeping people in. Our server was very good and offered great suggestions for what we should order. We were quite impressed with the quality and were able to get in and out in just over an hour with a group of 6. With appetizers, entrees, bottles of wine and drinks the price was reasonable. Its in an odd location tucked back behind the Double Tree hotel but well worth the price of a sitter and a night away. We will be back!"

"The food at Zink has always been very good and they are conveniently located near where I work, but you have to give yourself some time. The service here is quite slow and maybe it's just me, but the two times I've been there they've messed up my order and had to bring it out after everyone else's food had already come."

"Our party was very impressed with the food at Zink Kitchen. We went there as part of the Denver Restaurant Week event and were blown away with the menu offering. We've gone to other restaurants during the same week and while the food was good, even great, Zink blew past our expectations. The food was delicious, inventive, creative, and something you won't get everywhere. We will DEFINITELY be going back. Do yourself a favor and check out this restaurant. Our only negative is the lighting. If they could dim the lights a bit, it would help with the dinner ambiance. But that's the only negative, and one that certainly won't keep us away from dining there again."

"I love Zinc. We have had them provide food for large conferences....superb! This is my family's second 5280 and again we enjoyed the chef's selections. I like restaurants where I can get something tasty that I don't/can't prepare at home and Zinc fits the bill! Also our waitress and I apologize I am not sure of her name now....maybe Julie.....was so nice to my daughter-in-law who is vegetarian. Found her something and OK'd it with the chef! Really thoughtful."

"Food was excellent, but service was a little overbearing. I enjoy a server who will check in and give suggestions, but checking in every single time they pass the table is a little much. The caramel dessert was also a bit lackluster, but the German Chocolate one was excellent."

"Went here for their 52.80 menu for Denver Restaurant Week. Their Brussel Sprouts appetizer was surprisingly crafted to perfection. It was a perfect blend of smokiness, crunch, tart, and sweet, all blended into a perfect dish. Their entrees were not too impressive. We had the duck and steak. I did find it odd that one of their food runners, who seemed like she was a Manager helping out as she's not in uniform, is wearing a sleeveless top. I think it would've been appropriate for her to wear her suit jacket that matched her bottom pants to fit the ambiance."

"This was a VERY enjoyable experience. Trying a new place out during DRW, exceeded my expectations. My duck entree was the best duck I've had in a long long time. Thought my friend's mahi-mahi entree looked small, but he was very happy. Chef Paul knows what he is doing!"

"Good had good concepts, but poor execution. It was completely forgettable. The house Cabernet was good. They kept the water refilled, and the bread was good...that's about it. We waited 15-30 minutes each stretch between being seated, ordering drinks, getting drinks, each course, etc., and service was very awkward. We won't be back."

"14 of us dined there last night for restaurant week and while I realize we had a large party, it shouldn't have taken them almost 3 hours to serve us. It took nearly 50 minutes just for our appetizers to arrive! They didn't offer us any compensation, but they did bring us each a 1/2 glass of Moscato. I guess that was their idea of an apology....."

"Good wine list. Really wonderful food. Lots of flavor and fantastic presentation. Service was good but the server forgot to ask (and I failed to ask) how to cook the lamb. It looked great and tasted delicious but it was totally rare. Lamb tartar is just not my taste. There was a lot of middle eastern/Italian/Greek (I guess Intermediate) flavors used but the meat was not marinated, instead it was spiced well on the outside.
As for ambiance, it was okay with bright lights and bench seats. If they turn down the lights a bit, the ambiance will be far better."

"We went to the Zink for Valentines Day. We had never been there so we did not know what to expect; but had heard great reviews. The reviews did not lie. The food was fantastic and the service unparalleled! I have never tasted a brussell sprout that was so scrumptous. It was on the appetizers list and we tried them along with the duck confit eggrolls. The brussell sprouts were grilled and glazed. My company tried the salads which came out looking as though they had been freshly picked. The entrees we picked were pork shank, braised beef, and pizza. A varied selection of desserts was offered to us. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!"
