Terrace Cafe is an upscale breakfast, lunch, and dinner cafe located in the heart of South Park Charlotte. The cafe boasts an extensive menu of homemade items taken from family recipes. Full service bar, skilled baristas, and opportunities for private parties also available.

"Wine list is a bit weak, although they have several by the glass selections. Surf and turf was great, as was my wife's salmon. Friends all basically had the same items and a flat bread app that was just ok. Crab dip app was good. Atmosphere is fine, but Terrace Cafe could use a terrace. It was a perfect night for outdoor dining but its not an option at the South park location. All said, it's a good restaurant, and a good alternative to the louder busier Brio and Brasserie across the plaza."

"Food was excellent. I had the shrimp and grits which were just the right amount of spicy and my wife had the pork tenderloin which was cooked perfectly. wine list is so-so. Service is good. Could use some soft wall lighting instead of the harsh overhead cans."

""Ok" experience. We came for dinner on Valentines and the restaurant was not that crowded, surprisingly. Our waitress was polite - but we weren't told the specials and she didn't seem concerned with making us feel welcome, even though we told her this was our first visit.
The biscuits before our meal were the best part -delicious and the jalapeno jelly was impressive. My husband ordered the filet & pimento mac and cheese. The steak was perfect, but the mac and cheese was runny and bland.
I ordered a house salad and the "new orleans" style scallops. The salad was bland and the scallops, were to my surprise, fried, and served with a thick yellow Bearnaise sauce that had no flavor. I was disappointed with my meal. We won't be back!"

"Not pressed with this place. Asked the waiter what was good on the menu and he wouldn't specify anything. My drink was made wrong both times but I only sent it back once. My salad was good but I didn't care for everything else I got. My hysband liked his food though. The waiter was very uninterested in serving us. I always tip good at redtaurants but I made sure to only give him 15% he ticked me off so. The restaurant was dead too."
