Inspired by the hearty cuisine of Italy's western coastal region, the cuisine blends the essence of Tuscany - natural flavors brought out by a simple preparation of fresh seasonal ingredients and locally sourced Californian produce, fish and meat.
"I had the white bean soup and the antipasti plate. The soup had not been seasoned and didn't taste like anything. The antipasto plate was two huge plates. One had giant chunks of mystery blue cheese, peccornio romano, and parmesan, along with slices of meat. The other had bread, a couple of fruit compotes, cornichon pickles, candied walnuts and the kitchen sink. The plate had very little to do with an antipasti. It had everything to do with piling food on a plate.
My guest's chicken was tough, and luke warm. Another guest had salmon, which she liked. They brought the wrong order to the fourth guest, and took it back. They promptly forgot she didn't have food. We had to chase the waiter down 10 minutes later to get her lunch."

"I had the Tuscan beef lasagna, which was very tasty. The bread was plain and not particularly fresh.
The menu prices were 15-20% higher than old prices shown on the website.)
I also had breakfast in the morning and ordered lox on a bagel. The lox was very fresh and very high quality, although a little more of it would have been great.
Will return for both dinner and breakfast on my next hotel stay."

"I thought the meal was okay. I ordered the Red Snapper and it came on a bed of legumes that I was not crazy about. The snapper was excellent, but the vegetable bed was tasteless and boring."

"I'm not sure why this was advertised as a special Easter Brunch: Credit card required to hold reservation, and dress code "business casual." Menu was NOT available online. Although service was good, and food was good--what there was of it--this was nothing more than an average Sunday breakfast buffet for this hotel restaurant. Most of the diners were in jeans and sweatshirts, and wearing conference name tags. Strictly routine breakfast foods (eggs, bacon, etc.), omelette bar, cold cereals, juice, small platter of melon slices, and breakfast pastries. The only "special" item was a roast beef. Nothing fancy. No seafood, fruits & salads or desserts. Champagne was not included. Don't bother dressing up for this one! DISAPPOINTING!"

"The food and atmosphere were more that fine; price was high for the food, but highly convenient for those attending the conference center; that's what you're paying for"

"We were staying at the hotel and eat here three times in two days. Everything that we had was delicious. The only complaint that I would have is that someplace next to the restaurant they were doing construction -- major construction. It was difficult to carry on a lunch meeting with a jack hammer in the background."

"Really poor service and no one checked on us after the food was presented. The only time I saw someone who could help was when we requested the check."

"Went for Valentine's day. Food was amazing, had the special menu and a very romantic dinner with my special lady. Kudos to the Chef, great friendly staff and the manager--David--was very attentive and friendly, yet comically tall. Photo cards were a nice takeaway."

"I specifically made a reservation for my group of 8 here after going online and reading the restaurant menu. It was extensive enough to feed everyone happily. I was quite disappointed to find out they would not actually be serving the standard menu that weekend but rather an extremely limited menu with very few options on it. None of which even appeared to be the california/italian combo the restaurant's name suggests.
I plan to attend the same event next year but own dining needs will be met somewhere else. TusCa was a disappointment. The servers were lovely though. Clearly this was not their fault."
