Michael's on Main
We at Michael's on Main in Soquel offer cutting-edge comfort cuisine, with a comfortable fine dining experience. We are a green restaurant using local farmers for our produce, cheeses, & meats. We have a wonderful bar along with an extensive wine list from many local wineries. The ambiance at Michael's is warm with indoor & outdoor setting. We have a gazebo that overlooks the Soquel Creek, which is nice for weddings & parties. Fireplaces in the bar/lounge and another in one dining room. Our walls are decorated with new local artist work each month. Thursday through Sunday we have live music for your listening & dancing pleasure. So come and join us for some Pot Roast & Mashed Potatoes, or a Rack of Lamb with Sweet Potato Fries. It’s a wonderful dining experience you won’t want to miss.

"We ordered Osso Bucco, pappardelle, fish of the day which was cod on a bed of strawberry and leek infused risotto, salmon with risotto and codon blue with scallop potatoes.osso Bucco was everyone's favorite, pappardelle was 2nd, cod was third, the risotto was excellent, salmon was 4th and cordon blue was the least favorite. Chicken was a little on the dry side and the scallop potatoes were on the salty side. Overall we had a really good time sitting outside in the gazebo with 2 outdoor heaters, the view was great."

"Service was very good, only wish food matched. Chicken dinner was over cooked and actually burnt. Short ribs were covered in tangy, sour, mustard glaze. Both tasted awful. We enjoyed some good wine then left very dissapointed."

"We had a late Easter Brunch at Michaels. Wish I could say something positive, but the menu only offered breakfast fare (2:45), the food was terrible and the whole meal was very expensive. Our service girl was the bright spot as she was warm, friendly and attentive."

"Had reservations at 630pm for 6 and for not being that busy the food took an hour to come out. One of my son's had to wait another 30 minutes because of a mix up so everyone was done when he got his dinner. Server was not up front and honest with our order and it was frustrating! The Mac & Cheese was great the last time I dined here, but when it came out for my other son we had to take it back...it was cold and pretty awful! I guess this restaurant is not that consistent with there food. My son and I ordered the Lollipop Lamb chops and I got 4 on my plate and when he was served his 30 minutes after mine he only got 3! At this point my son didn't want me to say anything else!"

"We had a fabulous experience at Michael's on Main. It was my birthday and I felt so special. We stayed in the bar afterward and enjoyed the band that was playing. We actually came back on Sunday for the day time ambiance. Beautiful place, we will return for sure."

"We came for dinner on our way back from Monterey. It was Super Bowl Sunday. Michael's salad to start was delicious! The sole that I had was delicious and my husband enjoyed very tender beef brisket.
We were given complementary chocolate covered strawberries for desert!"
