"Waitress Jen was awesome, best part of the restaurant. She was enthusiastic and gave great service. Beautiful view from the patio of the Ohio River. This was way we went and we were not disappointed. Food was expensive and no one was pleased with their meal even though each of us got something different. Great place for a martini pr cocktail and then go somewhere else for dinner."

"Dined on the patio, our first time at the restaurant. Food was locally sourced and delicious. Plenty of vegetarian options (Thanks). Portions not crazy sized which we really appreciated - we were going on somewhere else and so we would not have been able to take a box - and we didn't need to. Appetizers (crab/avocado, and Gorgonzola) were delicious. Mains (veg. lasagna, and duck) were equally wonderful. We also moved to the bar after the meal and discovered that happy hour " restarts " at 9pm...we enjoyed ourselves there till our taxi arrived. Wonderful time. Thanks!"

"After all the great reviews I thought the food would be a lot better. For the price, it was nothing special, just adequate. The desserts were terrible: a giant S'more was soggy and the bread pudding swam in 1/2 inch of butter. I would probably not go back. The service was very good, however."

"There's an easy sort of elegance to this dining experience. The tastefully minimalist decor and wrap-around windows make the room. Feels like you're somewhere other than Cincinnati, but the venue gives a nod to the rich history and architectural heritage of this river town. Every View Cucina staff member was more than cordial; gracious and lovely to interact with. Food options were plentiful and we all enjoyed every bite; down to fine quality of rolls in the bread basket. Which was refilled at no charge.

We may have been lucky to dine here on a chilly spring day with no one on the deck. Completely unobstructed views.

I was a bit hesitant to try View Cucina in the company of an 86, 83 and 69-year-old. But the environment proved ideal."

"I had friends coming in from out of town and wanted to find an exceptional place for us to dine. Believe it or not I found View Cucina searching on the internet. I wanted a place with a view and View Cucina did not disappoint! Fantastic view, great food and my friends were very impressed! Thank you for a very memorable dining experience!"

"This was our second visit to view, and it definite won't be our last. The food is absolutely delectable- from appetizer to dessert. Try the goat cheese dip- delicious! The bread pudding- divine! Our server was informative and friendly, keeping our water glasses full and our wine glasses fuller. We couldn't sit outside because they had just repainted, which only makes me more excited about our next visit- sitting on the outdoor patio with the stunning view of the city and the river. Whatever the occasion- romantic date, gathering with friends, or business social- you won't be disappointed!"

"This was our first visit to VIEW Cucina but it will not be our last. We didn't know what to expect, and we were pleasantly impressed with the food, the ambiance, and the service. Many items on the menu are commonly found at other restaurants, but here they were uniquely prepared and excellent. My Greek salad and meatballs with fettuccine were delicious - the prepared to order piping hot beignets for dessert were great.
I look forward to returning to the restaurant in warmer weather when we can sit on the patio."

"We want this restaurant to succeed and this is a critical time for "new" direction to make it or not.

Menu changed, but not enough. Split a wedge salad short on dressing, but easily fixed. Both us tried different pasta dishes. Sauce too sweet for both of us and there's TONS of it.(left at least half on the plate) That can't be good for profits even if others enjoyed the flavor.

You probably won't just drive by and stop so word of mouth is important. Will try it one more time in about a month when the patio is open. Hope its still around."

"Not our first visit but our first time with the new management and menu. Love the Piccolo Cru wine recently added to the wine list, big fruity California blend. The herb roasted chicken was delicious but too big, it was half a chicken. The chicken and chorizo special over cornbread was also delicious and a bit too large in size. We had the beignets for dessert. It came with 5 beignets which were sublime. Definitely sized for more than one person, probably best for 4-5 but we couldn't let the go to waste. Looking forward to our next visit."

"The shrimp & scallop pasta dish that my wife had was good. I had the veal chop with cherry sauce. The veal chop was mediocre. The sauce was poor even though I like cherries. View Cucina should investigate how Great Italian restaurants prepare veal chops (one example: Charlie Gitto's in St. Louis... worth the trip!). The view was nice if you could get close to the view... I'd guess the patio once it opens will be spectacular. We MOST enjoyed the live jazz singer in the lounge, which was just the right volume, nice selection of music, made the dinner very enjoyable despite relatively undistinguished food."

"We always enjoy going to the View. This was our first visit since the change in ownership and we were very happy to learn we'll still receive the same good food and service we have in the past.
