"I took my wife to the Melting Pot to celebrate her birthday. The food was very good and the service was outstanding. They even left a card wishing her a happy birthday at the table. My only complaint is I ordered a beer from the menu and they were all out. It happens on occasion and is understandable. So I ordered a different one and they didn't have that beer either. Again, overall we enjoyed ourselves and had a great time, but if something's on the menu you should have it in stock."

"Our server Greg did a splendid job in service, safety and preparation of the food at the table. The overall staff were friendly and The manager Andrew also greeted us at out table. As a first time guest, I was impressed with the decor and style of the restaurant. The food was excellent having chosen the big night out 4 course menu. From the cheese fondue, to the dessert ( banana foster fondue was awesome with fresh strawberries!!) I definitely recommend this place!!!"

"We were a party of four that thoroughly enjoyed the Melting Pot experience. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgable. Only negative items were: Waiter delivered cocktails and wine after we received our first course, then proceeded to break off the cork into the bottle which he then had to decant as it was the only bottle of that brand left. My cocktail was so late the ice melted."

"First we were seated in a nice private area. The server was very helpful and on top of our needs. We chose the four course dinner with a bottle of wine. Although our server wasn't as familiar with the wine list, he did ask the bar tender for recommendations. As on a previous trip, the only complaint we have is that the wine was not cold and had to be chilled upon ordering it. Unfortunately, this resulted in the wine never really achieving optimum temperature. We loved the Boston Lager Cheese Fondue as well as the dessert fondue. The salads, especially the California Salad, were fabulous. The main course was our least favorite course. After two visits, we will probably just go for salad, cheese fondue and dessert fondue in the future."

"This was a good place to go for a date bc it's like you're doing an activity with your significant other. I went with my boyfriend and it was alright. The only reason I scored the food as "very good" is bc of the desert. This was awesome and the only thing I would return for. It's over-priced to the max- at least $90 for a 4 course meal which YOU THE DINER basically cook, season, plate, etc. I noted that The Melting Pot most likely makes a killing since they don't have a chef back in the kitchen- you are the chef! I didn't really think the main course was anything special. You skewer and dip your choice of meat in a broth... Okay... The appetizer was the cheese part, which was better than the entree, but still nothing to brag about."

"I arrived with my party of 4 to celebrate my daughters 16th birthday. It was intended to be a very special night and we were excited to try something new. We were running 10 minutes behind and so I called the restaurant to let them know. They said not a problem. When we got there we had to wait for approximately 15 minutes for a table. That was understandable. After we were seated, we waited and waited for someone to at least take our drink order. The restaurant did not seem to be busy but had a steady work flow. After waiting for 35 minutes and still no drink orders were taken. We got up and left. As we were leaving the table next to us said that they don't blame us. The evening was ruined and my daughter now has this memory for her 16h."

"Overall our experience was ok. The restaurant was nice and the door staff was very polite. We sat down at our table in a decent amount of time. When we sat down it was nice at the beginning but not at all at the end. The service was terrible toward the end of our meal. The wait time for our food and drinks was way too long. The server did not check up on us very often and we had to stand up and find some one to help us. I would not go to this melting pot again because if our bad experience on our anniversary."

"Service was so bad that we were unable to enjoy the food. Waiter went MIA, and we had to flag down or get up and find someone to help us on 3 different occassions. First the oil was not hot enough. This made the food soggy and took forever to cook. We had to wait a really long time to get someone to turn up the temp of the oil. Could not get anyone, so i did it myself. Only brought us 1/2 the amount if Tempura, so we had to wait again. Never checked in us. We ordered our food, then just didn't bring certain items. I felt like I was a bother. Took forever to just pay the bill. We paid a ton money for a ruined meal."

"Melting pot is my special occasion resturant. My husband took me to my first experience there nearly nine years ago and I've been going there for either my anniversary or birthday since then. The food is great, the service is always excellent and the atmosphere is heavenly. My only critizism is that because I move frequently, it's frustrating that melting pot doesn't exist in every city I lived in and I would have to travel great distances to experience my next fondue fix :)"

"Have eaten at the Melting Pot on several occasions and have always had a good time. This time though was just ok. The food was good, service was great but the restaurant needs a face lift. It is starting to show some age. Also, I don't know why but the manager on this very cold night decided not to turn the heat on or had it set very low. We had to keep our jackets on to stay warm. I mentioned this to our waiter who said we would warm up once our pot started steaming. We never did get warm."
