The newest Mercadito location are the chicest and most modern addition to the restaurant family. Ample sized banquets accommodate large parties while smaller white quartzite tables and the soft wood floor and ceiling keep the atmosphere cozy. Exquisite details include rope screens separating banquettes, handmade pyramid-shaped copper lights illuminating the bar, and unique 3D graffiti-style murals dressing the dining rooms. A massive bar area and lounge lets guests relax while taking in the stylish and upscale environment.

"Love Mercadito! I grew up in Mexico so I believe I have good knowledge of Mexican cuisine. This restaurant is in a different league. If you want ok food, there are other Mexican restaurants in miami, but if you are looking for awesome food, great service and a beautiful restaurant, this is the place for you."

"Mercadito gives Mexican food a great twist and worthy of visiting again and again. Good drinks, fun for friends or family, and amazingly good brunch. We've found the service can vary, but it's usually not overly crowded and haven't had a bad experience despite having gone now 4-5 times."

"We have been big fans of this place for a few years, telling everyone about it and frequenting the place. The last two times we have been, however, it has been a huge disappointment. While the food still tastes very good, the service is completely awful and badly timed. The second-to-last visit we waited 15 minutes for water and then the food came out before the margaritas (we were finished eating by the time the drinks came) and it wasn't very busy. This weekend was even worse - we waited 35 minutes FOR WATER - this time the food started coming before the water. We had friends with us with their 2 young children and they cannot eat gluten - they waited 45 minutes for their food because it came out wrong. Anyways... sad sad sad!"

"Food was very good but relatively expensive for the small portions. The shrimp ceviche and quesdillas were excellent as we're the guacamoles- however none of the dishes we ate we're spicy even though we were told they were. The bill came to $95 incl tip for 2 of us with only 1 drink."

"We had a fun evening at Mercadito...very tasty food as well as tasty Margaritas. When you visit you should certainly try the sampler of four different quacamoles as well as the Quesa Dip. The fish tacos and chicken enchiladas should not be missed either. There were 10 of us with all different expectations and all glowed about the meal. Mercadito delivers on well prepared contemporary Mexican cuisine. Would easily return the next time that we are in Miami."

"My friend and I ate here recently and we had a great time! The food was freshly prepared and tasty. The service could have been a bit more prompt, but it was a busy time on the weekend. My michelada hit the spot, and my friend's food was tasty without being too spicy. The flan for dessert was the most unique and delectable preparation I have ever had. On a student's budget, however, I will most likely only be coming back for happy hour :(. That being said, the food quality is very high and you shouldn't be disappointed. Definitely recommended!"

"What a disappointment! I hadn't been back to Mercadito in quite some time, but it had really gone downhill. The menu failed to list all of the ingredients in most dishes. As I have an onion sensitivity, I am always careful in Mexican restaurants to inquire. Not only were onions left off of countless dishes, but when I inquired about onions on some of the things I planned to order, I was assured there would be none present. When the food arrived, there were more onions than meat.
Service was indifferent and the waiters smelled like smoke."

"The service was terrible...we were never really sure who was helping us, we had 3 different people take our order including a manager and each time they would repeat the order we had to correct them. The drink order took a really long time to come and when it came, it came wrong (even though we corrected them 3 times when they repeated the order). The food was great, but the order came incorrect as well, they forgot to bring something I had ordered and by the time they brought it to me all of my friends were done eating and I had to eat by myself. Nothing than worse than everyone staring at you while you are eating! We also had a drip from the ceiling over our table that no one seemed to acknowledge. Not a great experience!!!"
