"This is a very memorable experience! The menu is limited, but the food is great! Definitely worth the wait for a window seat to see the fun things that circle around as the restaurant rotates. Must do activity for any one time visits to Seattle!"

"We had Saturday brunch there. The view was fantastic, particularly during a sunshine day.
Food was not that great, but still good, we ordered salmon and prime rib for main course. The prime rib came as a big portion, we didn't finish it, but when we ask to take the rest to go, the waiter didn't put the sauce together with it even we asked for a new sauce.
The experience was still good, may come again."

"Really good and attentive service. Have now been here for dinner, brunch and lunch and has been delicious every time. Highly recommended to friends and family and I look forward to my next chance to go again. Slightly pricy but the fact that cost includes the Space Needle observatory tour makes the cost very reasonable."

"Amazing view! We saw all of Seattle from our dinner table. There was a photographer that took our picture, and it was free to email the picture to our email address or facebook account.
I had the 12oz NY Strip, it was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The grilled tomato with feta cheese was a perfect side, but the fries were not that great. The waiter was very informative of the Seattle area, and the restaurant very appropriately serves Starbucks coffee.
Definitely a must do if you are in the Seattle area! It's reservation only, and they fill up quickly!"

"My wife and I chose SkyCity Restaurant for our "monthly date night" without our kiddo. We have lived in Seattle now for almost 3 years and had never gone to the restaurant or observation deck at the Space Needle; so we decided it was time. The check-in process was easy, the view was great (especially on a clear evening) and the staff was wonderfully helpful and courteous. SkyCity is definitely a special occasion restaurant, but did not have a "stuffy" feel to it.
The food was amazing and the wine list was great with a nice selection of local, domestic and international choices. I definitely recommend SkyCity to Seattle visitors and locals alike!"

"Our trip to Seattle was made that much more enjoyable by our luncheon visit to the SkyCity Restaurant at the Space Needle on April 18. The view from the top on a clear day is absolutely awesome. The menu and wine list were quite acceptable and we enjoyed our food and service as much as the beautiful view. However, with only one elevator, waiting to go back down requires a somewhat lengthy wait at times. Overall, a nice experience. Thanks."

"Overall the service and food were wonderful. They called us ahead and arranged for a balloon decoration and sparkling cider for a 13th birthday. The only negative was that the kid menu was really for kids in elementary school. There was not a menu selection that was appropriate for an older kid. The steak for him was great, but we had to have the wine sauce removed as it was not something that tasted good to a kid. For adults, the food was spectacular. Especially loved the sweet potato and crab cake starters. We would go there again for a celebration. We will just ask more questions if we bring a youth with us to eat."

"The only good think about this restaurant is the view. The service was really slow. The food was really bad and really expensive. No one at my table finished their plate as it lacked flavor. Would never return to this resturant. It is as if they know they have the best view in Seattle, so they don't try for food quality or good service. Skip the resturant and just go to the observation deck. Other wise, like me, you will leave with a lot less money and still be hungry."

"The short ribs were fantastic. No complaints there. In fact, I don't really mind paying $40-$50 for a main course if the meal is that good.
The issue I have are the starters. A thin crust flat bread for $14 where each person gets a tiny slice...that's about $4 for two bites. The menu would benefit from some mid-range priced items, especially if they continue to welcome families."

"We went In on a Saturday for a 2:15 reservation. When handed the menu we thought we had the wrong one, it was mainly breakfast items. I would of expected at 2:15 on a weekend we would of seen more salads and sandwiches even burgers... We did settle for the one chicken main dish. It's three courses, first course we had a Caesar salad, we took off the anchovy. Salad was good, crisp and tasty, chicken was good, not dry. And cheesecake was great. Service stared out good but increasingly got slow as food arrived I had to ask for tea refills twice.and asked for no anchovy on salad but it was on there he rarely came by-. Other than that you get enough food to fill you up and the view on a blue sky day was fabulous"

"Scene is great, food a little hit or miss. I had the tuna and it was excellent, but the croquette sides & pistou were very bland. My wife had the pork chop and while the hash and sauce were great, the pork was overdone and tough. Skip the "gnocchi" appetizer - the mushrooms and blueberry sauce were great but the gnocchi themselves were underseasoned and nondescript. Service, however, was excellent."

"There are those that say SkyCity is surviving on the view alone. From previous visits I'd disagree. But my most recent visit is, sadly, proof. Service was spotty, our main server either had too many tables or was not efficient. She also had chipped nail polish which I don't like to see on someone working food service. Our food was disappointing. My biscuits and gravy were incredibly greasy, even for sausage gravy. My french toast with potatoes was barely room temperature. The cobbler for dessert was overpoweringly sweet. The "fresh squeezed" orange juice had been sitting too long and hadn't been stirred so was watery."

"My boyfriend and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary here. We went on the weekend during lunch, so just be advised that this means it is Brunch and it is a 3 course meal with a set price, I believe it was $45.95 per person, gratuity not included. We loved the brunch though, the menu had plenty of options and the cheesecake and tiramisu was to die for! We don't normally do dessert so it was a very nice treat!"

"We went to the SkyCity Restaurant on our anniversary (which happened to be on a Wednesday night). It was pretty quiet and so we didn't feel at all rushed. The service was good and food was actually excellent. We hadn't been there for many years and FOR SURE they had gotten much better on quality. Also, my wife requires a gluten free meal and they had many good choices.
The only real disappointment was after spending $50/plate on dinner with it being our 20th wedding anniversary, they didn't so much as comp even a coffee much less a dessert. Showed a lack of class. Other than that it was a great evening."

"If you come to Seattle, you have to eat at the Skyview at least once - fabulous dining experience. We went for dinner and the view was excellent as was our waiter John. "This was one of the highlites of our trip. We had wonderful staff/service, met some lovely people. It was a special event for us and the setting could not have been more perfect. It is an experience we will never forget. We call it the Eiffel Tower of Seattle. Amazing, amazing, amazing. We thought Seattle was a wonderful destination."

"Experience of a lifetime! The food was pretty decent but pricey: I got the filet mignon which was good enough (but I have had better at the Met or El Gaucho) and my girlfriend ordered the lamb which was absolutely delicious (who knew lamb is so good!). The view is absolutely breathtaking. We got to go around 3 times during the course of our dinner and got to see all of Seattle. I highly recommend having dinner or lunch here at least once in your life."

"I love the rotating restaurants at the top of buildings, this is another great example. The service was wonderful, the food was delicious and the views were picturesque. Also includes access to the observation deck. Great way to see Seattle."

"Even though we were socked in with fog and had no view we had a great dining experience at the Space Needle. Our service was excellent and the food was terrific. My wife and I lingered through appetizer, salad/soup course, main course and dessert and never felt rushed by staff to get the table turned over. Every course was delicious."
