The legendary culinary vision of Roy Yamaguchi can be enjoyed right here in Las Vegas. At Roy’s Hawaiian Fusion Cuisine, our menu features the finest seafood with a focus on delicacies from the oceans around Hawaii. Each creation is a fusion of flavors found in our freshest local ingredients with European sauces and bold Asian spices and served with the spirit of Aloha, creating a dining experience that leaves you feeling like you’ve found paradise. The Flamingo restaurant is located about 1 1/2 miles east of the famous Las Vegas Strip, on Flamingo Rd. and features an exhibition kitchen, chef’s /sushi counter, rooms for private events, and a spacious dining room. "The service was top notch. We enjoyed the poke very much and the sampler platter. Didn't care for the Hawaiian version of swordfish, nor the macadamia crusted fish(too sweet). One in our party enjoyed the halibut mediterranean style the best."

"This was our first visit to Roy's Las Vegas but not to Roy's. we have eaten at Roy's in Hawaii, both on the big island and Oahu, both of which are terrific. The Las Vegas location is about 2 miles off the strip so it may not be accessible to some tourists,
The service was very good. No wait when we arrived and our waiter came promptly. The menu is weighted towards fish. My husband had the ahi and I had the Chet's trio. The fish was perfectly cooked and with tasty sauces. The ahi was served with a mustard sauce, nice and hot. The best by far is the chocolate soufflé which you must order when you get your entree to allow enough time. Not to be missed!"

"The location of this restaurant was not where the booking slip seemed to say it was.The form off the computer implied that Roy's was in the Flamingo Hotel,not the case, it was on flamingo Rd. a mile or so from the hotel.Just made our reservations after an extra cab ride.The food and service at Roy's was well worth the extra trouble."

"Took my wife and our 6 year old for a special dinner on Mother's Day. Got there about 6pm and were greeted very warmly, they got us to our table and all the service was top notch. The food was excellent, the ribs are superb as were everything else. The place handles kids well which I find rare with more upmarket restaurant. A free dessert with my daughters name piped in chocolate on the plate was brought at the ned of our meal and we were given a $25 gift voucher as well.
Will definitely return. The AC on the day we went was very cold so maybe bring an extra layer if you feel the cold. We did mrntion it and they adjusted the settings but it remained on the cold side."

"Excellent food,service and atmosphere! I was surprised that such a "fancy" place was very kid friendly. The kids entree comes with an appetizer tray, and a desert with their name on it! Great choice for a family night out. However, this place is not cheap but it is worth the price...but special occasions only for my budget."

"We went here just after arriving and a long day of travel. We started in the bar for Happy Hour and got specials on our drinks and first appetizers. They left us sit their to enjoy even after our reservation time came and went. We then transferred the tab to our table where we were greet by a very generous and courteous waiter. He quickly but thoroughly went over the menu - notable items and favorites. Food was brought out immediately, waters were always full, needs were met withough being attacked all of the time with questions. We had a great time, the food would delicious and the service was some of the best I have ever experienced. If we are ever around another Roy's we will be sure to stop."

"We celebrated our wedding day and had a memorable stay. We got peronalized menu's en een picture taken by the very friendly staff as a gift. We have never seen that both food and service at the same time are of high standard. We ordered Roy's starter for two to share (came in a small canoo, well decorated plate). The trio of fish as a main dish was delicious and as dessert chocolade pie with hot fudge and a warm pineapple pie with coconut ice cream. Great experience all together!"

"Roy's Las Vegas is an excellent restaurant if you are looking for somewhere to have a nice dinner with great service and food. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating from the time we walked in the door until we left, they even called a taxi for us when it was time for our check so we would have one ready when we got up to leave. My wife and I could not have asked for a better place to celebrate her 30th birthday and we will definitely return the next time that we visit Las Vegas."

"Read about Roy's on OpenTable. Looked good so we thought we would try it for our 41st anniversary. Well it's hard to describe. We were treated like old friends from the moment we were greeted by the valet.. Caring..we felt that they really cared about us, which is not the norm for Vegas. I had the TRIO and my wife had the chicken..both absolutely fantastic. Service was impeccable, you could not ask for more. After dinner they brought us a special desert acknowledging out anniversary and the hostess took a picture of us. We were presented with the framed photograph when we left. The manager also had stopped at out table to acknowledge our anniversary. WE WILL BE BACK. This is a Las Vegas Gem that should not be missed."

"We were celebrating a birthday and the whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. We arrived earlier than our reservation and were directed to the bar to wait for the table. We ordered Roy's signature martini which was pretty good. Once escorted to the table, the waiter walked us through the menu and gave helpful suggestions. We split the salad, ordered two fish entrees and had a desert along with two drinks. The service was very attentive, food tasty and water refilled promptly. As an added touch, the menu had a happy birthday insert addressed to the guest. Also, the waiter took a picture of us and presented in the end with a picture printed in a paper memo keepsake. Very nice and appreciated."

"This was a wonderful restaurant with fresh fish. We were very happy with our meals. I had a California roll which was good. The Mahi Mahi was really good. We had the chocolate cake and also the Hawaiian Pineapple cake. Both were wonderful. The staff is helpful and friendly. They will call a cab for you while you wait at your table then they tell you when the cab is ready!! We went for a birthday and they gave us a birthday photo! The service is the best!!!!"

"We had a wonderful experience at Roy's when we were recently in Las Vegas. We were seated promptly upon our arrival and were attentively served throughout the evening. Since we were not familiar with Hawaiian Fusion Cuisine, our waitress recommended several appetizers, salads & main dishes. We had the Lobster Potstickers and the Pear Salad as starters. For our main courses, we had the Seabass and Roy's Trio. The portion sizes were reasonable, leaving us room to enjoy their special baked desserts, Chocolate Soufflé and Pineapple Upside Down Cake. Everything was delicious! We would highly recommend Roy's and we will definitely eat there again when/if we return to Last Vegas."

"The air conditioning was very cold and blew directly into our booth. We asked to have the temperature raised which they said they did but it only lasted 2 minutes before we were blasted again. We asked to move to another table and were told he would ask the manager but manager denied being asked. As a consequence food got cold quickly and we were uncomfortable all night. Ordered the lemongrass chicken. It was just ordinary without the sause on the side of the rice. Management offered to change it but I declined."

"I had the same waiter and helper team. It included Tim, but I did not get the waitress's name. They both did a great job. Tim especially is focused on the customer and never makes a trip to the floor without checking each table and customer. He communicates well and I booked the second night, two days later, due to his service. I also requested that team again."

"Roy's in Las Vegas was a wonderful find! We have visited Roy's in other cities and were pleasantly surprised there was one in Las Vegas. It lived up to all of our previous experiences. The staff was fabulous in both the bar area and our server. The food was excellent--fish dishes and steak were equally good. The chocolate soufle was divine, but our server recommended the pineapple upside down cake which was just as good. Our server couldn't have been nicer. All around great experience for our group. Even though it's off the strip it is worth a taxi ride or walk."

"Wine list was not extensive, but a few Mosels and a few Caymus cabs kept our small group adequately beveraged. As is typical of every Roy's on the planet, service was excellent. We ordered an assorted appetizer plate that was very good. The sushi roll was far from ordinary with a nice bite to it; the gyoza's were perfect, and the short ribs were tough to refrain from reordering. I doubt that the seafood came from Lake Mead, but whatever it's origin, it was very tasty. I seldom see butterfish on the menu other than as a sushi or sashimi offering. I don't think I can order anything else on their menu ever again, it was killer!"

"Great for social events, I mentioned in the reservation we were there for a 30th birthday and we were given menus with a personalized insert in the first page. Additionally they gave us a small dessert with happy birthday written in chocolate on the plate and took a photo they print out and place in a Roys paper frame for you. We ordered the Hawaiian martinis which are delicious and dangerous as the fruit masks the alcohol content very well, and the miso-Yaki butterfish which I think is the best thing on the menu, it is so flavorful. We also ordered the boat for two appetizer, the rib, shrimp, and chicken pieces were especially tasty and I would consider those again as individual apps but pass on the others as they didn't stand out."

"One of the best meals we've ever had! Roy's was awesome! It was my daughter's 14th birthday and everyone at Roy's made her feel so special. I still cannot believe how wonderful the service was! I accidentally spilled my drink (me, not my kids!) and they moved us to another table and brought me another drink. So nice! Additionally, the kids menu was so wonderful and portions were awesome. My sushi loving 10 year old was able to get a shrimp tempura roll as her kids meal option. Really? How much more awesome can Roy's be? My birthday girl was hoping for chicken teriyaki and they did it up for her. She was thrilled. Everyone at Roy's should be very proud. I also want to mention our server and busser- incredible! Thanks!"

"I've been to Roy's in several cities (always great food) but this was my first visit to the one in Vegas. The food was as good as always but the service was fantastic! I was presented with the wrong dish, which wasn't a big deal. While I waited they brought me a the lobster pot-stickers (which were delicious) so the rest of my party didn't have to wait. In addition, they took off my entree of the bill. All of this was done without a request or complaint. While the food brings me back to Roy's again and again, this level of service has provided yet another another reason."

"The service was great, from approaching the door with the Valet, hostess and servers. They all worked as a team with a genuine attitude of we care about your choice and time spent with us. The place was clean to include the the silverware. Nico our server was patient and knowledgeable of the menu and food/beverages overall.
The food was presented quite attractively, but not as I expected. The special cocktails served up by the Bartenders were so on point. Special and will be used when we get back home. Great dinner away from the hustle and bustle of "The Strip"."

"Very disappointed food was bland, ordered grilled halibut, it was dry over cooked, sauce was bland. Husband had scallops they were tough and curry was the only thing you could taste. Ordered appetizer and it never came. Waiter was sarcastic and robotic. Only good thing was the MaiTai which like everything else was overpriced for what we received."
