The legendary culinary vision of Roy Yamaguchi can be enjoyed right here in Bonita Springs. At Roy’s Hawaiian Fusion Cuisine, our menu features the finest seafood with a focus on delicacies from the oceans around Hawaii. Each creation is a fusion of flavors found in our freshest local ingredients with European sauces and bold Asian spices and served with the spirit of Aloha, creating a dining experience that leaves you feeling like you’ve found paradise. The Bonita Springs restaurant is located in the beautiful Promenade Shoppes, and features an exciting exhibition kitchen and expansive chef's counter. In the kitchen, Chef Jason Grasty brings his imagination and artistry to the plate every night. Originally from New Orleans, Jason's background is French and Creole cuisine. "We have been to Roy's many times. This is the first time my husband was disappointed in the shrimp dish he had. They forgot to take out the vein in some of the shrimp and this was very unappealing and he could not finish them."

"I have been to two other Roy's locations and was not disappointed with the quality of the Roy's Bonita Springs location. The food was delicious. The food portions were generous. My only concern is that the service was slow even though we arrived as the dinner guests were leaving the restaurant."

"Some people love Roy's; we've never quite figured it out. The food is...good...service is...good...ambiance is...OK...It's just not an outstanding choice, but it's fine for a dinner out. The biggest negative for Roy's Bonita Springs right now might be the fact that the Promenade, the "upscale" shopping area where Roy's is located, is almost completely empty. Almost all the other tenants in the plaza are gone, leaving a weird "ghost town" vibe. I hope for everyone's sake that the plaza is revitalized, and maybe Roy's will be along with it."

"We had eaten at many Bonita area restaurants and finally decided to give Roy's a try. We are greeted promptly and with a graciousness that extended throughout our meal. Our server was very knowledgeable about menu items and wine offerings. Upon recommendation from friends I ordered the butterfish and was not disappointed. This version of North Pacific cod was sweet but not overly so. My companion had Hawaiian swordfish and described it as fabulous. We will go again!"

"Thanks - GREAT experience!
My hubby had to return home for a couple of days during our vacation in this area, but my 5-year old son and i still wanted a nice dinner out. This is an upscale restaurant with excellent food, AND they were very welcoming to my (well-behaved) son!

"This is a great restaurant. Period. Food, service, decor....it has it all in spades. In today's world of surly service as the norm, the employees here are friendly and NICE TO THE CUSTOMER. We are frequent diners here and we've never had a bad meal. The butterfish is like no other fish I've ever eaten. Next time you want a great dining experience, treat yourself to Roys."

"The dishes my wife and I ordered were bursting with flavor, very unique to my east coast U.S. palate. We enjoyed it so much we came back three evenings later. Really enjoyed the the Hawaiian spices and sauces. Don't miss the flash fried yellowtail snapper. Don't worry about the flash frying, the fish is crispy on the outside and non-oily on the inside, very flaky."

"This is our 5th time celebrating our anniversary at Roy's and they never fail to impress from start to finish. The special menus with our name in them was just the beginning. Be sure to enjoy the Prix Fixe menu or you'll leave wishing you had. the molten chocolate dessert is worth traveling most any distance. The sea food is awesome as are the short ribs."

"Over salted...over gingered...over sugared...Every single dish we had was too rich or strong tasting in some way. The first bites were very flavorful but then the cloying sweetness and spice came through much too strongly. Ribs were oily and slathered in a sugary ginger sauce. The calamari and whole snapper were salted beyond healthy. The scallops were drenched in a thick, sweet-salty sauce. By dessert time, our taste buds were too jaded to appreciate the deliciously sweet chocolate lava cake which we love so much. But we will return, and give things another try, We'll just make sure we ask for sauces on the side and extra easy on the salt!"

"Outstanding food and a great manager. My wife and i each had a fish we had not tried before and we were both so happy. The apps are amazing here. I must say, we have eaten at several Roy's, including in Hawaii, and Bonita Springs is the best one, and i am not joking. We will be back again !"

"Server was in a hurry to leave. It was apparent by her timing.She was trying to move each each course along before we were ready. We said we would let her know when we were ready for coffee as we wanted to finish and enjoy our our wine and she brought it anyway."

"We've been twice previously and sat at the bar.and loved the appetizer menu as we found it unique and varied. Two guests ordered the chicken which was very tender and moist and they both asked for extra curry sauce. I had the mahi mahi which I found basic as it was served with a few slices of white potato and sprigs of asparagus, something I could have easily prepared at home. The servers were very pleasant and attentive at first but needed reminding for the second drinks which had been ordered. We'd go back for happy hour."

"What can I say about Roy's that I haven't already said, I am never disappointed at this restaurant. Usually have fish there because it's always so fresh and delicious, but this night I had one of their steak dished. I was totally knocked out by how well prepared it was. Then, had the special Mango souffle with coconut ice cream for dessert and was equally knocked out. Just another reason we keep coming back to Roy's."

"Everything was wonderful at Roy's in Bonita Springs. My daughter manages a restaurant in NY and she was very impressed by the food, atmosphere and the service. Our waiter Tim was very attentive and knowledgeable. He answered all our questions and was very patient! I recommend this restaurant and look forward to dining there again soon."
