The legendary culinary vision of Roy Yamaguchi can be enjoyed right here in Anaheim. At Roy’s Hawaiian Fusion Cuisine, our menu features the finest seafood with a focus on delicacies from the oceans around Hawaii. Each creation is a fusion of flavors found in our freshest local ingredients with European sauces and bold Asian spices and served with the spirit of Aloha, creating a dining experience that leaves you feeling like you’ve found paradise. The Anaheim restaurant is located in the Garden Walk, and features an exhibition kitchen, tropical lanai dining space and private rooms available for special events. In the kitchen, Chef Ron Plata brings his imagination and artistry to the plate every night. Ron has a love for traditional ethnic comfort foods and was inspired to cook by his foodie mom and his father, a former Navy cook. "My mom chooses Roy's every year for her Mother's Day Brunch. It's her absolute favorite restaurant. This year I was a little disappointed that the brunch did not come with a dessert. Also, the restaurant was not ready to seat people when they opened so there were a bunch of people waiting around to get seated for their reservations. Other than that, the service was outstanding and very attentive. The food was amazing as always, even for someone who doesn't eat seafood like me."

"Since I live in the Philadelphia area, I have forgotten our much I miss not having a Roy's near by. The restaurant in Philly closed several years ago.The preparation of the food is unique and was outstanding. From our appetizers to our dessert everything was wonderful. You must try Roy's Canoe Appetizer since it has a taste of almost everything. Start out with their Mai Tai. You will not be disappointed."

"We're from Toronto, Canada so getting to go to Roy's is a very special treat. My boyfriend and 10 year old son had never been and they are pretty hard to please but they both loved it! Our server Tracy was excellent and the food was fantastic. The Monday Prix Fixe menu was a bonus. We can't wait to come back. Hopefully Roy's opens a location in Toronto soon."

"Food sounded so much better than it tasted. The dishes were very ... almost bland and had no vibrancy or exciting flavors. Items were prettily plated, but dishes were muddled and lacked contrast. Blackberry tart was very pale and sad and didn't really pay off it description.
This may be the worst Roy's meal I've ever had. It didn't taste like the kitchen was into it... at all. Fare seemed tired and played out."

"My dining experience at Roy's Anaheim was in a word AMAZING. Simone, our server was outstanding. She was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and kind. She along with the food and drinks made my dining experience at Roy's Anaheim UNFORGETTABLE.
One of the items on the appetizer menu was Lobster Bisque. I was hesitant to try it since just the night before at Mistral in San Diego. I had the displeasure of eating the worst bowl of lobster bisque I've ever experienced. The butter had a burnt after taste. To my surprise, Simone brought by a sample of the Lobster Bisque offered at Roy's which was simply delicious I ended up purchasing a bowl. Thank again to Simone and entire staff at Roys Anaheim"

"My family and I love Roy's! Clinton was an exceptional server! The food was a bit older and not the usual high quality we receive at other Roy's, yet it was still eatable, we were hungry. Clinton never rushed us during any prat of our 4 corses. The table was always being cared for, yet he came an went allowing us to enjoy our selves without interruption. He picked up on out dinning preferences right away, that in itself was golden. Not everyone has this foresight. Also the two desserts, upside down pineapple cake with coconut ice cream and I'm not sure what this next one is called, but like a chocolate lava or soufflé both beyond delishious!"

"Been to Roy's many times in many different cities over the years. Hadn't been to Anaheim location in about 2 years. Food was always very good to excellent in prior visits. This time it was just fair. Ordered the fish trio - two of the fish, the salmon and mahi mahi were quite fishy tasting and the sauces were mediocre at best. Nothing better than I could have had at home with grocery store fish and bottled sauces. Potatoes the same - basic sliced and bland. The salad as well - a small, basic salad with no zest - for $8.95. Not like Roy's in the past. The meal just didn't have the same mix of great flavors across the board. Fortunately the service was excellent. But for the price I probably won't go back for awhile."

"As a vegetarian, the Roy's chain of restaurant is fantastic! This is the fifth one I've been to, and it did not disappoint. The chef is always acommodating, willing to add or subtract for dietary reasons. The non-vegetarians in the group were happy with their meal as well."

"On this occasion we celebrated my mom's 80th birthday with a "Chef's Choice Menu". It was AMAZING! Chef Ron paired the meal to the wines we brought perfectly, not to mention presentation of all dishes was spectacular! Roy's Anaheim is a our go-to place for all special occasions, and the just-because we want a nice dinner. Their staff and kitchen crew are all fantastic! LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! We can't wait for our anniversary ... What will they come up with? It will for certain be fabulous! (Wish I could post a picture here of our meal.)"

"Our experience was very good. My expectations were well surpassed after our time at Roy's Hawaiian Fusion. Right from the start our welcome was genuine and professional with prompt seating.
Our waiter (Brian) was an excellent listener and was attentive to our needs. One who knows their menu is very important to me, who can colorfully describe what makes the meals unique is appreciated, which our waiter was one who helped make a great choice.
The meals that we chose were one like I had never had prepared in such a way that beckons my return. The Barramundi over the spaghetti squash patte was the winner for me, although every meal on our table was very good.
The experience that we had was what we needed for a lovely evening."
