"Absolutely the best restaurant we found while on vacation !! Everything from the wedge salad, the onion soup and the rib eye steaks were delicious !!!! Our waiter, Anthony R,, made our anniversary very special -- we received a card, had our picture taken and took home chocolates !! Anthony is one of the most exceptional waiters we have had the pleasure of meeting !! We highly recommend this restaurant !!! Our anniversary was extra special due to Flemings !!"

"Very cool new interactive wine list left at tables on iPad. It's actually a good tool as they have over 200 wines available by the bottle and about 120 by the glass. Much easier to navigate than a standar menu. The food is a bit pricey, but I always know that going into it and generally speaking it's worth the price. Service is attentive, however if you're not in a rush be sure to tell them...otherwise you may feel like they are trying to do a 60 minute turnover on the table. Sit back, enjoy some wine and good company...there's no rush."

"Ambiance was POOR due to sectioned off room next to us which must have been reserved for a very large party let their kids run into partioned wall, run around the room screaming. Lady at next table asked if I heard all this. Her husband was a war pilot and has lost a good deal of his hearing so she wanted to know if anyone else in our dinning area could hear all the screaming and running into wall which she said "I would never let my children or grand children do something like that in a restaurant."

"We were a little early and decided to have a drink at the bar and wait till our reserved time. David the bartender made a great martini and gave us his name and the other bartender's name in case we needed anything else. Then we were seated and met Jeffrey our waiter. He was quick to our table and introduced himself and welcomed us to Fleming's. The food arrived and was excellent. Jeffrey stopped by and checked in with us. A delightful experience all around. A "must" on our list of restaurants. Will be back again soon."

"There was a mixup with one of the dinners, but the manager took care of everything in an efficient and satisfactory manner. The staff was very attentive. Two of our guests were celebrating birthdays. The restaurant provided a very festive dinner - with a birthday photo, a birthday card signed by the staff, and a small box of candy for each of them. It was a wonderful experience. We will return."

"I was expecting a properly prepared filet mignon at a steak house but initially my medium well filet (pink) was served well done. This was replaced after I finished my baked potato and string beans with a new filet but this time it was rare with a red juicy inside. I declined another attempt to prepare the steak to my liking. The service was outstanding, my wife enjoyed her scallops and the salads were excellent. The manager did remove the steak from the bill and compensated the dessert and coffees."

"We had never visited this particular Flemings and were surprised that the bar was packed. We never pictured Flemings as a locals hangout. We sat in the Sarasota room and it was quite nice. Our server was attentive and although my steak was over cooked they had me a new one in a matter of minutes. Food was excellent. We did not care for their signature potatoes so we would order something else next time. All in all a great place for a great steak."

"This was our second special occasion in a month and Flemings does make it special, starting right at the host's desk when you check in. For the most part, we enjoyed our evening thoroughly and are already planning another visit. On our first visit, we were almost overwhelmed with attentive service. On this second visit, our server checked on us only rarely. On both visits, the place was packed but our server, this time, seemed a little overloaded. The food quality and presentation were marvelous both times and management always stopped by to chat with us. I'm really impressed with the iPad Wine List and appreciate the extra information. The decor and ambiance are outstanding and helped to make it a most memorable dining experience."

"Started off badly when we requested another table, not the one that they chose for us,as we wanted one that would be quieter, however we had a wonderful meal at Flemings. We were left to stand waiting beside 8 empty tables ( which remained empty the entire time that we were there! )The waiter insisted that we take his choice of table! "Over priced wine list. The difference between the size of the petit filet and the larger filet was all in fat. Meat was not flavorful. Fries were limp and greasy. Server was a sweet man, but that was about it."
