"Flemings-Sandestin was everything we expected & hoped for. It was well worth our 3 1/2 hour drive for an outstanding meal with exceptional service. My experiences at other Fleming restaurants have been great, and this was no different. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, particularly those wanting a romantic diner with someone special or just enjoying the company of close friends."

"Ordered a petit filet mignon and recieved what looked like a sirloin with a ribbon of fat down the middle....was told by mgmt that the filet was butterflied...fail...wife enjoyed her eggs benedict...wine and sides were great...we've been many times to multiple flemings and this was the worst occasion...mgmt checked on us more than our waitress...brought out a new steak that was perfect...refused to eat the screwup steak"

"Went for Mother's Day brunch...1145 reservation. At 115 I had to leave to go to work ...I never got my entree!!! My party stayed but did not get the dessert they wanted as they were told it was all gone. Wait staff seemed clueless. I will not be back"

"Previous dinners we're excellent. My recent dinner was a whole different experience. The waitress was sweet but had difficulty remembering what we ordered . 3 of the 5 entrees brought out were the wrong entrees so we had to eat at different times. They apparently rushed the Veal Chop Oscar as it was very undercooked. She was very under educated re: wine descriptions as she described a Cabernet Sauvignon selection as being "buttery" . (training is everything). Messages were relayed between the sommelier and the waitress instead of the sommelier actually coming to the table. There we're many little things left to be desired. Fortunately I was in good company and was able to overlook some of them but will be very wary about returning soon."

"Our server was fantastic, very attentive and able to give great suggestions Jalayne was great. Tanty was very kind to stop at our table several times and talk about the restaurant and ask how our food, service and experience was."

"We decided to sample a few appetizers and small plates rather than entrees. All of them were tasty, though some were a little bland seasoning-wise. The sliced filet mignon and chocolate lava cake were both outstanding. Altogether a very pleasant dining experience, the staff was friendly but not obtrusive and I look forward to trying more dishes there soon."

"I dine at Flemings across the country and typically it is a great experience. Food at the Sandestin location was up to par, but service was just really awkward. Not ver polished, intrusive, amateurish, and not fitting for their brand. Hopefully it was just my server."

"Went to Flemings Steakhouse in Sandestin, FL for Valentines Day dinner. The meal overall was good to great but not excellent, I am not sure what is happening in the world of steak houses but the tendency to over salt and over cook is prevalent. It’s not just Flemings, maybe I should ask for Med Rare instead of Medium. The sides were good, hot and plentiful. The service was good, kind of forced like the waiter was working off of a script and it didn’t seem to flow, he may have been new. The layout of the building, I like my Steakhouses to be more closed off, with intimate spaces about 8- 10 tables to a walled area max Flemings had more of an open feel, you could see right from the main dining room into the bar area and the front door"

"THe retaurant was recommended by several people to celebrate a special occasion. Went there for our anniversary and the wait staff and owner/managers took care of us. Wine list was very nice. What this does lack is the ability to cook your steak right. Promoted as USDA Prime. I had small filet and was overcooked/overseasoned. Wife had prime rib. Both were somewhat dry and overcooked. Salad was good, green beans were tasty, house potatoes were your basic au gratin, nothing special. Dessert was the carrot cake - possibly the best we've had. WOuld I go back? Yes, but only for special dinner. Overpriced for the quality of the steak."
