"I am a vegetarian and I can always find something on the menu for me.Apparently when I noted this on the reservations NO ONE read it but I was able to get the French toast, Cesar salad and ginger carrots. They seemed either unorganized or under staffed because we along with several others had to wait before being seated although we had a reservation."

"Once again Flemings comes thru. We throughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was wonderful, the service outstanding. We are of an age where trying to stuff bunches of beef in our gullet is not enjoyable and has longterm ramifications. This requires that my wife and I agree upon a single entree so that we do not have to take home expensive leftovers for sandwiches. The little plates do the job and provide a variety of choices. It actually left room for desert."

"I think Fleming's is our most favorite place for steaks as it is always consistent and the service exceptional in my view where ever we go to Fleming's whether in Austin, Boston, or San Antonio. I just love the chocolate lava cake for a desert and it is easy to share."

"We dined early and were seated near the bar at happy hour t was quite loud. Our server was good. However, we were not told about the specials and not as attevtive to us as other tables around us. The food was outstanding."

"Easter Sunday lunch. We thought that we had to order from the special menu since regular menu was not offered. We had a 1:00pm reservation but several items were already unavailable which leads me to think there was poor planning in the kitchen.

"We were here for our anniversary and found the service, from the hostess to the waiter as well as the buser and manager, to be prompt, friendly, and just enough without being over-bearing. As this was our 2nd visit and a special occasion we were looking forward to a quality dinner. We ordered two of the Sunday Prime Rib specials. The Flemming's salad has little flavor but the heirloom tomato salad was very good. The prime rib was cooked to our request but we found the Mac and cheese dry and sticky and the Flemming's potatoes lacking in seasoning with an over cooked cheese topping. We felt our experience was just okay at a resturant we expected to make our 18th anniversary a special evening."

"We have not been to Flemings since the newest menu and were very happy to see the small plates. Usually my wife and I have to decide upon a single cut of beef so that we can split it. I use to be able to scarf down 12-16 oz steaks with no problem but now days age caught up with me :( I had the lamb chops which were perfect and just the right amount, my wife had the sliced filet mignon. Perfect amounts of each and no take home yeah. We will be back to work over the rest of the small plates."

"Flemings is one of our favorite steakhouses in San Antonio. We've never had a bad meal there. This time we had the jumbo lump crab cakes, a ribeye, the chicken, which is incredible, Flemings potatoes, green beans, and the chocolate lava cake. We had the Chateau Montelena Cabernet Sauvignon with our meal and cappuccino with desert. Great meal! Steak was perfect and chicken out of this world.Since we started going 6 years ago we have no need to goto Ruth Chris anymore. Like I said we've never had a bad meal here. I can't say that for Ruth Chris. Nice touch for the owner Mark to come to our table and greet us. I always get email updates on specials and tastings. We eat there about 3-4 times a year and spend about an average of $260.00"

"We have been to Fleming's at The Quarry three times, the most recent being Valentine's Day. The food, service, iPad wine list and ambiance were excellent, as they always are. One of the great things about Fleming's is the fact that, in addition to a great steakhouse menu, they offer a great deal of items for "foodies", such as pork belly, braised short ribs and duck foie gras. Also excellent is their "Small Plates" section, which allows the dieter, or the just-not-that-hungry, to enjoy a great meal.
There are a lot of great steak houses in San Antonio now, but Fleming's is always a different experience. And service? Unparalleled in the city, all professionals, right down to their business cards."

"The food and service were excellent. Although rather pricy, it was well worth the cost. Because of the cost, it probably isn't appropriate for "every Friday dining out", but one of my favorite steakhouses in San Antonio. I had swordfish on this occurrance, and I will now say that their seafood is also fantastic."

"Enjoy a great Valentine's Dinner with my wife at Fleming's. We arrived 5 minutes before our reservation and were seated and waited on immediately evn on Valentine's Day with a packed restaurant. Our waiter was extremely helpful in picking out a great wine that wasn't a usual stand by. We had the special of the night which included an outstanding filet, cooked perfectly. My wife and I were really had a great evening at Fleming's."

"I arrived in person at 6:20 PM and asked the hostess if she could seat a party of three at 7. She was very curt when she told us that if we did no have a reservation, she could not possibly seat us until 8:45. I saw many unoccupied tables so I checked online with OpenTable. We had choices of several seating beginning at 6:45PM. I booked the 7PM seating and called our third person. Within minutes our table was booked. Hurray for OpenTable. I won't deal with rude restaurant personnel again."

"As usual, everything was very good. Desserts were excellent. Prime rib was very good and plentiful. It took a little long to get the entres out. That was the only negative."
