"I ordered the "Prime Ribeye" steak, expecting to get what one normally thinks of as a ribeye. What it really was was prime rib. Even though they are the same cut of meat, they are usually prepared differently. So if you are expecting a ribeye, don't order the "Prime Ribeye" -- it's more like prime rib. It's a bit confusing because the next item down on the menu is the "Prime New York Strip". I thought the "Prime" part was referring to the quality of the meat. It makes me wonder about the New York Strip. I assume that's a straight-up New York Strip, and that's what I'll order next time."

"I have been to this Flemings before, but this time, the steak was one of the best I have ever eatten. Both my guest and I had could have eatten a nother it was so good. I have eatten in some of the best Texas steakhouses and the steak we had on Saturday night would rival any of those in Texas."

"For Fathers Day we went to Fleming's Steakhouse for the first time this weekend. We really liked the decor and ambience. The main dinning room was large but, it still felt upscale. The menu had a nice variety of choices of steak, side dishes and seafood. Our steak was cooked and seasoned well. We tried the blue cheese mash potatoes and it was so delicious!! If you love blue cheese it's a must to try. We had two cocktails each (Manhattan's) and not only were the drinks perfectly made they were potent! They don't skimp on the alcohol, which made my husband happy! Last but not least, our waiter was terrific! He was very professional and attentive without being too pushy. I think his name was Allen. We will be back!"

"I had family come to visit and wanted to treat them to a nice meal, but was worried about their kids; 5&3. After making the reservation, I called Fleming's to ensure that bringing kids were ok. They stated immediately they were kid-friendly. The meal was great as always and wait staff was phenominal. I can't wait to go back!!!"

"Best steak that I've ever tasted! I thought the top 2% of beef meant that this would be the best cut in the country. I think it meant that they would give you 2% of what you would get at any other steak house in America. Again...awesome taste...but for $50/person, I want to leave stuffed."

"Absolutely ranks as one of the best experiences ever! The service was incredible and the food was better than I can describe. I ordered fish which I prefer and it was perfect. My wife ordered a petite filet (which I tried) and it was so good that it almost melted in your mouth. Outstanding! The atmosphere was eloquent yet cozy. We will definitely be returning."

"Overall it was good. We went during restaurant week, so the prices were discounted. Had the meal not been prix fixe, it would not have been worth it. We all got filet. All of them were 1 stage overcooked, but good (we ordered medium, medium rare and rare). The sides were ok. The french onion soup taste like they used a ton of herb butter on the bread, so not good. The wine menu is great with plenty of by the glass choices. The bread was fabulous. The service was good. So overall good, but had we paid full price, I would have been disappointed. The dress is business casual. It is right at the mall, so I am sure some people come over in jeans, but we didn't see anyone in jeans."

"We have been here several times. Everything was just perfect. We've been to some of the country's great and well steak houses as well as local favorites in NYC. Chicago, LA, Kansas City and others. Flemings is our favorite. The menu selection ( Bar or main Dinning Room ) has something for everyone. While I would say this is an adult destination there are items I the menu that children would like. The wine selection is not for those who would prefer " Ripple " but those that enjoy great wine...Make any dinner specical."

"The service (waiter, Aaron) was really the only excellent thing about this VERY expensive meal! Way too over priced for the quality of food. To pay close to $50 for an average tasting steak and get NOTHING with it is ridiculous. While a couple of the sides were good, nothing was extraordinary which is what I expect when your are spending an average of $75/person not including alcohol. Sad to say but you can get a steak that is similar quality at Outback for way less than 1/2 the price and with sides included. We dine out frequently and have no qualms with paying for a great meal & experience, but we'll have to look elsewhere next time."

"First time at this location and was not impressed by the taste of my steak(ribeye). I would have usually sent back such a steak but I was with my mom on Mother's Day and didn't want to make a scene. Have been to the Charlotte location many times and never had an issue so my suggestion would be to take notes from the chefs there."

"My husband and I went to Fleming to celebrate our 6-month anniversary. Throughout the evening, multiple staff and management came by to wish us a Happy Anniversary. At the end of the evening, we were given a small gift as well. The food was outstanding and the staff was attentive. It was a wonderful evening and definitely a place that we will revisit when we want to celebrate a special event."

"Made reservations online and noted it was our 25th wedding anniversary. We were great with a happy anniversary. Hostest was great, waitrest was awesome, helpful, and kept on top of things. We have eaten at the AB on west Gleenwood many times but it is loud, crouded, and like a cattle feeding lot. Flemings has a more relaxed and unrushed Ambience. The food was prepared with care and in our opinion was better than the AB. If you want to indulge in an after dinner desert we suggest the Lava Cake.

"This was my first and last time going to Fleming's. I went with my family to celebrate an event and was hoping for a nice dinner. From the start, the service was excellent and our waiter was very attentive. Unfortunately, her service was the only good among a lot of poor qualities.
We ordered the pork belly appetizer to share as a family and this came completely unseasoned, needing the accompanying sauce to make it have any taste. This was a foreshadowing of things to come. Each member of our party ordered steaks and each came out completely underseasoned and bland. This held true for the Fleming's potatoes as well. On the other hand, the creamed spinach was way oversalted, highlighting some serious issues in the kitchen."

"Delightful dinner. Old friends met us and we wined and dined 3 hours. We'd have left earlier but we were so enjoying the food, the drink and the company. Service superb. Hostess, waiter, servers, manager. All so quietly professional, attending to us invisibly. When we want a good dinner we can go anywhere. When we want the best dinner, we only visit Flemings. Thanks for dinner!"

"The food is pretty good, but nowhere even remotely close to being worth the money they charge. The service was also found to be a touch lacking. My wife and I were there on a Sunday night, so there weren't many patrons. Our waiter still struggled to give us any attention, and eventually a manager had come and started waiting on us. If not for our gift certificate, I would have been complaining."

"Unfortunately our dining experience was not too recommendible. The waitor was either a bit too much or not there at all. I was with 3 other diners, we all received our main courses and mine was overcooked. One of the staff (not our waitor) took the steak away and I had to wait another 10 mins. before I got another (for med rare steak??). Anyway, everyone else had long finished their main-courses and eventually the waitor came and apologized, but I was not offered a discount or piece of cake or anything! The bill was still exceptionally high, and overal I would not return. Steak was good, but didn't need the butter on it! All the sides were very greasy/fatty, had indigestion after meal. Sorry!"

"We enjoyed our meal & the atmosphere until dessert was served, & we began to hear a very loud thumping noise through the wall by our table. When management was questioned, we were told it was probably the mixer beating up against the wall from the kitchen of the restaurant next door. That was it for the explanation and no other remedy was offered by the manager. However, it was our server who asked if we'd like to move to another table, which we declined since we were only had dessert left to finish. Kudos to the server for offering a solution. Also, as an added review tip, don't agree to be seated at the booth up against the wall, nearest the kitchen, as that constant thumping sound was very annoying."
