"I am so glad we chose Fleming's for our Anniversary date! Back on Valentine's Day, friends had suggested Capitol Grille at the Hermitage Hotel. It was a HORRIBLE experience; ultra-small portions, dis-engaged service, and a $225 price tag. (My filet looked like a sausage patty, honestly.) This time, we were encouraged by some others to try Fleming's. WOW- what a WONDERFUL difference! We have never had a better Caesar salad, and our steaks and veggies were perfect. The service was TOP SHELF! The price tag was reasonable for such an enjoyable experience. We WILL be back. YOU'VE GOTTA TRY THIS PLACE!"

"We got a last minute reservation for graduation dinner after another steak establishment (The Foundry) cancelled on us. It all worked out for the better. Flemings was the perfect place for our family celebration. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was festive. They offer a large variety of delicious food and portions. Although the resturant was packed, we were never rushed. Thank you for the perfect celebration dinner!"

"I'll start with the one small negative at first - they didn't have our reservation right. Even though they called earlier in the day to confirm, when we arrived, they told us our reservation was not for 2 more hours and had 1 more guest than we actually had. However, it was not a problem. Even though it was a busy night, they quickly accommodated us and found us a table that was great. The food was wonderful - the steaks were delicious with the bone-in ribeye as the best cut. The lava cake was one of the best desserts I have had. To top it off, we were celebrating 2 birthdays and they provided gifts to the guests of honor which was a great touch. Other than the small glitch in the reservation, we had a great dinner."

"I was impressed with the service at this Fleming's. Right from the front door to the table service, I was blown away with the respect and courtesy provided to me and my friend by the staff. Our server was attentive and provided just the right amount of service without being overbearing. The manager even stopped by to make sure our dinner was going well. I don't like to complain but the only thing that was not perfect were the steaks. I had the bone-in ribeye and my buddy had the main filet. We requested for the steaks to be cooked MR; however, both steaks came out Medium/Medium Well. Our server offered to take the steaks back but we told her it was okay. I just expected perfection from a steakhouse. No worries."

"Bar area is VERY noisy. But if the hostess seats you in one of the back areas, the noise level is (gratefully) low. You can have a conversation without yelling at each other but the tables are spaced well enough so that you won't hear others' conversations. Expensive. Everything is a la carte."

"Our overall Fleming's experience was outstanding. What caused our food to be judged only "very good" was our pork belly appetizer. It seemed somewhat dry and lacked flavor. Our steaks (bone-in ribeye and large filet) were cooked perfectly, served hot and flavored well. The Fleming's potatoes side was ample, and delicious. We were too full for dessert, and took home a doggy bag, so portions were certainly large enough. Our service was excellent. The noise level is energetic, and it was sometimes hard to hear our server; but he, and his assistant Jehoshaphat, attended to our every need. We also appreciated the manager's visit to the table, and his desire to address us by name. He convinced us he was glad that we came."

"I have eatin here many times. It has always been good. Unfortunatly this trip was a wash. All three steaks at the table were over cooked. The service was ok. For the price you expect the experience to be better. This is the third time at this location the steak was incorrectly cooked. As the Chef at a private club myself and a lot of the membership eat at places like Flemings. I will not recommend this to them nor shall I return."

"First time at Flemings in a long time. Started with baked brie, which I love at other places, and this was no different. Wish it was served with more variety - only served w/ apples and some bitter greens. We both had a Ceasar Salad....there's has pancetta & capers. Different, but good. I prefer the original, but no complaints. Went with the small plates, she had the scallops, I went with sliced filet. The filet was perfect, tender, flavorful. Her scallops were good, maybe a tad over (I think they sat under the heat lamps), but not so much that it caused the dish to suffer. Mentioned it to the manager when he stopped by just so he could let the kitchen know. It wasn't a big deal. He gave us a $25 gift card, which was unexpected."

"Flemings has always been our favorite restaurant, but the last two times we have gone for dinner the food has been mediocre at best. After the first bad meal experience we waited a while and then decided to give it another try. We had the swordfish, which we were told is now going to be a regular item on the menu. I hope not, because it was not so great. It was so overcooked you almost had to cut it with a knife, and the flavor/seasoning just wasn't very good. I definitely wouldn't order it a second time. The one positive thing that stood out the entire evening, besides a nice bottle of wine, was our wait service. Very attentive and never far away, our waiter checked on us often throughout dinner and was extremely personable and friendly."

"We had a great evening at Flemings. There were a couple of problems though. One is that I had ordered my steak med-well & it was still quite red in the center. Also, the steak had lots of pepper rub on it. I am not a pepper fan so that caused me to not enjoy the steak as much as the others did. The steak itself was very good, I just didn't like the rub on the outside and wanted it cooked more but I'm not one to send my food back so I ate what I could. The service was great & our view of the Parthenon was beautiful!When we go back, I'll just make sure they know to cook mine more thoroughly and to leave off the pepper rub & I'm sure it will be excellent."

"I firmly believe the food was overpriced and did not live up to its expectations. Simply put, the food was good but not great. The steaks do NOT come with sides and are all about $50 on their own. It's not that we couldn't afford it... it's just that I expected more flavor and better presentation for what I was paying. My husband and I love steak and were underwhelmed. On a positive note... They had an extensive wine list which was nice. The mushroom ravioli appetizer and butter spread for the bread were yummy. The service was excellent. It's a great place if you want a "fancy" dinner, but overall the food just did not live up to what we expected and thus was overprice. We were disappointed. I would have preferred to go to Outback."

"Loved our steaks. We also had the lobster tempua - and it was awesome! It was a special night for us, an wedding anniversary. I told them ahead of time, on the rervation. However, no mention of it all night. We hoped to get a small desert or something that most of our spots (Capital Grille, Mangione's, Stoney River Steakhouse)....oh well. It wouldn't keep us from coming back, but other steakhouses have you bet in those little touches."

"Hard to hear my waiter and my wife. Interior was inviting and clean. Saw two different children when we dined. I had better steak when I lived in NY. It is an Italian restaurant called Aurora Ristorante in Soho. Overall I'd go again make sure you make a reservation a week out. Without a number of different places to go here in Nashville, everyone packs into restaurants."
