"Yummy steak. The bone-in filet was outstanding and cooked just right. Giant baked potato - perfect for sharing.
Wasn't impressed with the wedge salad, why put a strip of cold bacon on top? Better to crumble it up and spread

"Food was fine. Location primary draw here for Staples and LA Live. Being a former food server myself I'm normally forgiving with a hiccup or two with service; however on this night the food server's poor service was just too much (takin too long to greet table, getting annoyed when told our mixed drink was too strong, forgetting salads, not serving any of his own food....which by the way drives other food servers crazy). In my opinion he had no business being out on the floor. Fortunately, our busboy and the other food servers saved the evening and took care of our table. Manager offered us an apology and free gift certificates which was a nice gesture, however, we would have just preferred a nice night out without any food server drama."

"Food is delicious usually but the seafood tower was not. Steaks are always delicious with madera sauce. The French onion soup is a nice way to start of your meal as long as its not too salty."

"Every since the Outback purchased Fleming's it has not been the same. Our server was good, wine list is great. The problem is the level of professionalism from the entire staff very weak at this location. As we walked up to Flemings their employees were standing outside smoking on the sidewalk isn't good representation of what once was a great place to eat. Won't be back anytime soon.. Sorry Flemings to many other places to eat that hold the employees to a higher standard."

"Located in the heart of LA Live, parking can be quite a daunting task. There happened to be a Kings game at Staples Center on the day of my visit so traffic around the area was VERY heavy. For a high end steakhouse, the ambiance of the restaurant is quite noisy, perhaps because of the bar area located adjacent to the main dining area. I was expecting something a little quieter like Morton's. It was a little difficult to hold a conversation with my fiance without having to raise my voice, something I'm not used to when paying this much for a meal. The food was excellent. Filet's were cooked to perfection. Service was impeccable."

"Generally I am a fan of Fleming's steakhouses. Like the rest of their brethren this restaurant served up its reknowned steaks. Table service was excellent, with a very responsive wait staff who anticipate needs. The host was probably the weakest link in the service chain. I prefer to sit at a booth, and when the host took me to a regular table, I asked if I could be switched. The host did not seem to make an effort to meet my request or give the appearance of being wanting to respond to my request, almost if I was an irritant. This did not start of my evening well, but thankfully the strong wait staff made up for the less than stellar host."

"I love Fleming's. I just love other Fleming's more. This one you have to give them a little break for the fact that most people come here before or after an event at Staples Center or other nearby attractions, so dinner is not their main event. I will say that the steak I had was outstanding. No complaints at all. Our waiter was a little too "hip" for me. His haircut was something out of Star Wars!!! Tried to make everything "cool" but couldn't pull it off. Will go back there no question. Just will go to other Fleming's for better ambiance when not going to a nearby event."

"Dinner at 5:30pm Monday before the Rihanna Concert. Great service, Chris (waiter) and follow up by Eric (manager). Tempura lobster was very tasty but a felt a little too oily as a dinner menu item. The Lamb chops were asked to be cooked as Medium-Rare-Plus but it was more like rare and some spots uncooked by the bone. The salad, Flemings potatoes side dish and ice cream desert were excellent. The Rodney Strong Cab was unavailable but the Merlot was available. The Mas Fi sparkling wine (champagne) was very good. I recommend these drinks."

"I was surprised by my experience this time. I felt like the restaurant had picked up its game. Certainly the service staff was well-trained and ready to please. Michael, the restaurant managing partner, was on top of every guest table making sure they were happy with all facets of the evening. Well done!"

"A tale of two meals. My husband had oysters and an appetizer size filet, both of which he thought were wonderful. I had the wedge salad and the swordfish, and was disappointed. The wedge came highly recommended by the waiter, but was unexciting; it was oddly too full of bleu cheese (which I love). The fish was over-cooked, so it was dry except where the sauce was still in contact. I shared my husband's asparagus, which was quite tasty.
Service seemed attentive, but was not really authentic. The environment seems nice, but calculated somehow.
Not what I was expecting, especially from a place with prices that high. My ratings reflect the mixed quality of our meals. I'm not really looking forward to a return trip."

"As chain steak houses go, Flemings is right up there. All steaks were cooked exactly to correct temperature and sides were good and not too huge. Four of us were going to share two salads to start and the kitchen, without being asked, split them which I thought was a nice touch. Second course came out a little quickly but that was ok. Service was personable and attentive but I wish they would train the bus staff not to try to constantly take our plates away. That was annoying! Let the TABLE finish!"

"The Porcini filet mignon is, by far, one of the best filet mignons I've had in the past year. The flavour was delicate with the porcini sauce, but the real treat was the meat itself - the texture was tender and light.
Service was very good, our waiter had perfect timing and just the right level of enthusiasm for the menu without being pushy.
Finished with the chocolate lava cake, and this is recommended for chocolate lovers. The "lava" part was like the inside of a melted Lindt truffle, super yummy."

"With a $50 gift card, the food was terrific. I would put Flemings a notch below other steak houses in LA of comparable cost. The bone in ribeye was very good but not outstanding. Service was very good. Proximity to Staples was great."

"LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!! Came for our Anniversary dinner. Arrived late, but was seated right away. Service was exceptional. Manager came by our table to wish us “Happy Anniversary”. Although the house was full and not very intimate for the occasion, we were treated as if we were the only guests in the house. Porterhouse steak was cooked to perfection, as well as the “Surf & Turf” plate. The Filet Mignon “melted” in my mouth. The Chipotle Mac & Cheese will be a standard request from now on. Because of the location, was able to stroll around LA Live to walk off the wonderful meal. Thank you Flemings Downtown Los Angeles!"

"It was very loud and filled with grungy people from LA Live. Much less classy than other Flemings I've been to. Also, I feel like some of the items are more pricey than they should be. Service was great. However, I'm not dying to go back."

"The bone in Ribeye steak was one of the worst steaks I've had in years. The whole think was gristle and barely edible. For a place that "prides" themselves for providing a great steak I was extremely disappointed.
The Lava cake, crab cakes, pork belly, and side dishes were good...too bad the steak was so horrible"
