"Six of us enjoyed ourselves as a tribute to Mother's Day. However, we were stacked in the rear of the crowded restaurant & I was been bumped into a half dozen times by patrons & wait staff passing our table. I can handle this while knowing Mother's Day can be challenging to most eateries. But most remarkable, was the food. Although decent.....it's not Ruth's Chris. I try to embrace Fleming's, and have been there several times. But it has to up its game with the chow."

"I came with my parents and sister to celebrate Mother's Day and my dad's birthday and the whole dinner was outstanding. I had originally tried to make reservations for brunch for they were packed so I chose a 3:30pm for an early dinner. I think that that's what made our experience better. We came in right after brunch and before the dinner rush. Our server was able to take his time with us and we weren't rushed at all. The food was delicious as always. Definitely make sure to get their Lava Cake for dessert, which you have to pre order 15 minutes in advance. At the end of the dinner, the server gave my mom a box of restaurant made truffles and each of my parent's a $25 certificate to come back. Will certainly be back."

"We went for Mother's Day lunch and there was prime rib on the prix fixe menu, so 3 of us ordered it. One person got an end cut, so it wasn't fatty. But, the other two got very fatty meat. Once we cut off all the fat, there was more fat on the plate than meat. This is not a high quality steakhouse like Ruth's Chris or Morton's. The service was good, but I wouldn't go back."

"Steak was great and the Flemings potatoes are outstanding. The waiter and staff were very attentive. We were there once for a birthday dinner and a second time for Saturday night dinner. Both experiences were wonderful."

"A return trip to Fleming's - to enjoy some wine and a nice steak. Food is well above average - and feels slightly overpriced. A main problem I identify with this place is consistency in delivery. This time our wait staff was rather inexperienced - but the food really made up for it. I had a short rib app and the steak was excellent."

"I have been there a few times for dinner with my husband. Although the food and service was excellent, we were seated in a back room, on the last table in the back. Not a great view, but I guess someone had to sit there. Make sure that you request a table near the window (view to hudson) when you make your revervation, otherwise, you may suffer the same fate."

"Located at City Place in Edgewater, Fleming's enjoys the prime location looking east with magnificent views of Manhattan. It is somewhat odd that the windows are placed so high that one must strain to enjoy the views while sitting. They offer Valet parking which, unfortunately, is NOT complimentary.
Upon arrival we were seated immediately & greeted cordially by our server. Unfortunately, again, the food didn't measure up to the service.
Bottom line, I wouldn't go out of my way to go to Flemings. For a view, head to the Chart House where you can enjoy the view from anywhere without having to strain. For food, go to the Capital Grille. There IS complimentary valet parking, excellent service & the food is far superior"

"Although Flemings couldnt find our Open Table reservation, once we showed them the email confirmation, the manager quickly appeared, apologized for the error and immediately found us a table....on Valentine's Day evening when the restaurant was packed.
Both the swordfish and salmon were perfectly grilled. The desert was rich and spectular, so much so that we brought it home and enjoyed in the following evening. We have been to Flemings several times for dinner and it has never disappointed us on either service or food quality."
