"The bar scene is very busy immediately upon opening & you'll have to sit at the bar if you're not there when the doors open.
A reservation doesn't mean you're getting a booth in the bar. Therefore my husband & I sat at the bar. This place is very dark & it's difficult to see anything. We started with 3 of the bar specials: pan crisped pork belly which was mediocre at best & wasn't crispy, sweet chile calamari had great flavor but the calamari was oily & not crispy, french quarter bbq shrimp was delicious & rich. For dinner my husband had the bone-in ribeye which was too rare & cold in the center & I had the sliced filet mignon that was prepared perfectly & delicious. Not as good as Ocean Club by a landslide!"

"This restaurant has the largest wine list we have ever seen. And the list is entered on an iPad that you can read descriptions and recommendations. Everything we ate was delicious. The maitre'd was super nice (a man) and our second server was very attentive and nice (a girl). The restaurant is very dark like other high end steak & seafood restaurants we've been to. We were surprised that there wasn't a view as the location is pretty far north in luscious desert land."

"Our night began right when we got there. They were expecting us and we were seated right away. Our server Matt was exceptional. He took care of us like we were his most important table. He even brought us complimentary champagne and wished us a happy anniversary! The food was exquisite. My filet mignon was perfectly cooked with an amazing Chardonnay Gorgonzola cream sauce drizzled over it. The seafood chowder was quite good as well. Overall, I would recommend this Fleming's to anyone and everyone!"

"We went for a birthday dinner celebration for my son's 40th birthday and were a party of six.
The dinner plates were uncleared for 30 minutes after our meals were finished. The manager blamed it on the Lava Cake (4) desert "falling" during baking but no one came to our table to inform us of the reason for our very long wait. The desert when delivered were cool and the gooey centers had begun to set and were not runny and hot as usual. Management was appologetic but that did not make up for the long wait with 2 childern in our party.

"We enjoyed the meal but were a little disappointed whe my fiance asked for house vodka in his drink and the waitress offered him Grey Goose. When I asked her if that was the house vodka she said no. Later when they asked if we would like our leftovers wrapped to go, we appreciated the offer but were dissapointed when we got home and realized they sent our two steaks in one box and exluced out leftover sides. The evening left us feeling a bit deceived."

"Our Easter brunch was not a pleasant experience. Our reservation was for 12:15 and our food was not served until approximately 140pm. Our egg stratta's were cold and rubbery. Desert was delicious. The young man who refilled our beverages was very good! The wait for our food was the big issue."

"We went to the Easter Brunch and found the Fleming's extremely busy. However, we were seated just shortly after our reservation time. Our server, Stephanie and her assistant were fantastic. Overall the food was good, our one major complaint was that the eggs benedict was served very cold. The wine list was great as always. I think the food from the regular menu is fantastic."

"very disappointed this time :( we go to Flemings pretty often, just in past 6 weeks we have been there 5 times , business dinners , bday , etc , actualy was there last week n was perfect , this time service was SLOW n unfriendly , after we were sat down it took 5 mins b4 someone came to our table , then another 5mins to get our drink order in and then took 10 mins to get our drinks.Our server never seem to be around , I kept apologizing to our son because I choose Flemings for his bday dinner , we wud of had better service at Applebees. After our experiance this last time I really have to rethink doing anymore business dinners there.And to top things off it wasnt busy ,and didnt appear to be understaffed."

"Overall great. We arrived early for our reservation and the was packed. So paid a visit to the bar and had an appetizer there with drinks - all were great - including bartender. Then at our table - waiter was very good, please and not overbearing. My wife's filet minon was perfect - mine was overcooked but one mention to the waiter and it was replaced with a perfectly cooked one (medium - pink in the center and sizzling hot). Then for dessert we had creme brulee and coffee and amazingly the had real half and half for our hot and fresh brewed coffee. (can't tell you all the place that try to serve you milk with you coffee - so kudoz for that)."

"Let's face it, prime steak is prime steak, and it would really be hard to mess it up. So, to stand out, a restaurant needs to do something above and beyond. I liked the iPad with the wine list, and even better was that fact that they have well over 100 wines available by the glass. The service was excellent, and very personable."

"The food, service, and ambiance top notch. We were celebrating a birthday and the restaurant made it very festive, including a birthday card on the table and a wonderful birthday dessert. Two of the party had grilled salmon and they could not stop raving, the third person had a hamburger and truffle fries were fabulous. We will definitely return soon."

"Your establishment was very accomadating to our schedule. The location a bit out of our way we live in Northwest Phoent area, but a short drive from our work area in Scottsdale.
The restaurant is romantic we loved the atmosphere. The waitress was very helpful in our decision on what to order, since this was our first time there. I would give this visit to Flemings a score of 100. Thank You for the pleasant experience, we will be back."

"Seating was slow due to Valentines Day. Bar was chaotic but bar tenders worked hard to keep everyone drinking. The host and hostest stood in front of the desk looking down and refused to make eye contact or acknowledge us for a full 3-4 minutes while looking totally overwhelmed with the crowd. They never smiled and never apologized for the delays and chaos.
Overall the servers were great, the food was good except the Swordfish which tasted fishy and dry."

"Our entrees came out about 30 minutes after the appetizer seafood tower. Our entrees came at the same time as those for the people next table who came 20 minutes after us and who seemed to be a regular and were treated like celebrities. Our waiter Brandon did his best to control the situation but the young GM Cory was unapologetic and cocky. Fortunately the managing partner Mark was gracious enough to understand and admit the flaw and insisted the meals on the house. We still paid the tip for Brandon only. This was the first time that someone at Flemings dropped the ball in 18 years we have been loyal customers. We could have gone to Mastro but thought we like the steak better at Flemings. Very unfortunate!"

Restaurants in the "Prime Steakhouse" category are all expensive, so the menu prices were not shocking. Nevertheless, $9.50 for a baked potato is a little over the top."

"The 6-6-6 special is the Best Value in Scottsdale. Only $6 for an appetizer, or drink, or hamburger. Must eat at the Bar or Patio is the only drawback. In nice weather, the Patio is prferable to Indoors. In the Hot Summer months, its the Bar or toasting outside on the Patio. That's like being inside a Pizza Oven. Actually I beleive Flemings closes the Patio during the really Hot Months to avoid toasting patrons."
