"We came here to celebrate Mother's Day and it was the first time that the six of walked away happy from a restaurant. My mother-in-law loved the chardonay/feta spread that comes with the bread. A few of us took advantage of the prime rib special and that turned out to be a great value. The rest ordered various steaks and they came out perfectly cooked. The service was great and it was really nice not to feel like we were being rushed through the dinner service."

"We always enjoy Flemings, have never had a bad meal there. This visit we decided to stay in the bar area so we could watch the Masters on TV. They only had one TV at the very end of the bar and two employees stood right in front of it, hanging out and watching the golf as well. This made it difficult for others to see everything. It appeared they had no idea they were blocking the view for guests and just stood and chatted while watching the golf."

"This was our 1st experience at Fleming's. We were pleasantly surprised by portion sizes. In fact, if we had known side dishes were so large, we would have ordered less. Entire party had the filet and lobster tail listed only on their website. This came with choice of French Onion soup (best I have ever had) or wedge salad -- both again very generous in size. Wine list was impressive and I enjoyed the interactive tablet for choosing and exploring. A great experience -- we will return."

"My Fourth trip this year. See my previous reviews for details. This trip had one disappointment because I did not get a thick bone-in ribeye. 2 of 3 steaks were perfect. My ribeye was a thinner bigger cut which was not the best prepared medium well (my request). This steak was not there usual and the manager had a lame excuse as to how some were just like that and that I should be specific about ordering and getting a thick cut the next time.
Given that I had the same experience at two other high end steak places last month I will give them the benefit of a doubt. I think the definitice description of a "Cowboy Ribeye" is changing with the availability of the cut from the suppliers."

"Had the most wonderful time at Flemings for my birthday. They are exactly what a fine dining steakhouse should be and I will have no problem recommending. Loved the wine list on the IPAD and our server was nothing short of exceptional. Keep it up!! I WILL be back :) OH YEA and my girlfriend off hand told them it was my birthday, Flemings had no problem sending me off with some truffles and a gift card for next time. Worth every penny."

"My wife and I had a late Easter dinner at Fleming's. The only menu item not available was the Prime Rib special. Our server said they had served over 300 during people during the day so to be out of only one item is pretty remarkable. We both had filet mignon was prepared exactly as we asked. We also had the creamed corn and Fleming's potatoes both excellent. We both enjoyed our meal and the service was excellent."

"Fleming's had a great Easter menu that included both the traditional beef-based items and special brunch options. We all ordered differently and each of the plates was beautiful and delicious. Fun to have the entire wine list on the iPad. Nice touch. Our only issue was seating location. We were at a table directly behind the open kitchen -- fun to watch but extremely loud and made conversation difficult, particularly with senior adults in the mix. Overall, however, it was a great choice for Easter and we'd do it again."

"drove from cincy to the restaurant. flemings was in a vibrant part of town. love the complementary valet parking. i tried their own "f17" sauce with my filet mignon, tasted a bit bbq-ie for me. we had a booth, wine glasses already on the table. my kind of style. skipped salad to really enjoy cocktails, lol. LOVE that they have the wine ipad and serve desert wines, made sure my glass was empty. mignon was tender, still had leftovers for a petite size. of course my husband plate was clean he had the suicide mashed potatoes, filet with cream sauce & asparagus, loved it. a bit noisy but it was saturday night. all service was prompt, ended the night with coffee & tea. will go back for christmas dinner but not on a regular basis"

"The beef carpaccio was outstanding, a great prelude to the steaks we had, which were perfectly cooked. My only criticism was the stinginess of the asparagus that accompanied my steak, though the side of sauteed mushrooms was generous. The wines by the glass were really good as well, with interesting selections other than cabernet and merlot (I had the petit syrah, which was really good with nice balance between the oaky and fruity tastes). We shared a chocolate lava cake, which was really good, though the selection of desserts was surprisingly ordinary. The service was attentive without being intrusive."

"Fleming's is a high end chain, but it doesn't feel at all like a chain. The food was very, very good, up to par for a high end steak house and then some. Service was outstanding, especially considering that it's in the Dayton, Ohio, area (not known for great service). The wine list is great, with 100 wines by the glass. We'll definitely go back."

"Very nice upscale restaurant for Dayton. More trendy steakhouse vibe than Pine Club or Oakwood. I had the main filet and it was very lean and flavorful, and perfectly cooked to medium rare. One of the best filet mignons I have ever had. Wife had the ribeye with crab bernaise and it was flavorful, but fattier than other ribeyes we've had. Salads were both great. Asparagus side was perfectly cooked. Very good service; only complaint was the bar was backed up so getting our drinks was a little delayed. I would definitely return to Flemings."

"I love supporting local, independent restaurants but when it comes to celebrating a special occasion, Fleming's knows how to make it feel truly special. Everything from the customer service to the main course to the chocolate birthday truffles with your check is fabulously consistent. I recommend Fleming's for parties of 2, 4 or even 6! Always a relaxing time knowing that you are going to get great service and an excellent meal. Money worth spending!"

"Great steaks, cocktails, and extensive wine list. Sides are "ok", but that's not why you go to a steakhouse :)
The staff and manager went out of their way to make our anniversary dinner special. Overall a great time."
