Edendale is open 7 nights a week for dinner, wine and cocktails. We also serve Sunday Brunch from 11am until 3pm. We feature an exciting cuisine called "Com-fusion", which is a fusion/blend of comfort foods from around the world (especially western Europe, eastern Asia and the southern part of North America). Essentially, it's the best feel-good foods that people everywhere love.
The restaurant is located within a restored firehouse that was originally built in 1924. We have a separate full bar and a large outdoor patio for drinks or dining. We specialize in excellent service and quality food.
Edendale is located in Silver Lake, close to Hollywood, Glendale, Downtown, Pasadena, Los Feliz, Eagle Rock and Echo Park. We look forward to serving you!

"I have been to Edendale for dinner and that is a fantastic experience, but this was the first time I'd been for brunch. And the first time I had sat out on their patio. The brunch menu is not very large, but it has plenty of different options. I had the Salmon Crostini which was a perfect blend of breakfast and lunch. And the patio was so beautiful! I highly recommend it on nice days. We will be returning to Edendale again and again."

"This is a fantastic new discovery for us. Very neighborhood-y, lots of great character, great food. The menu is very diverse, lends itself to sharing with the whole table. We got the Vol-au-Vent, and loved it!! The Ahi appetizer, the bleu cheese fries, asian pear salad, all wonderful. Next time I want to try the Seared Ahi entree, or the salmon. The ambience is very inviting and fun.. A winner!!"

"We were looking for somewhere away from busy Pasadena for a change and found this restaurant by chance. The food was wonderful prepared just right. The ahi appetizer was fresh and generous in size. We will be coming back for sure."

"We hadn't been to Edendale for several years, not since before the new owners took over. The menu is impressive, and we enjoyed both our appetizers and our entrees. The only complaint I have is that in such an old building (I think it was built in the 1920s) with very high ceilings, soundproofing - or something - is needed on the ceilings. It is very loud, and every little sound echoes. Plus, there was one male guest at a nearby table whose voice probably could be heard 10 miles away. And he almost never stopped talking. It almost ruined the otherwise-lovely evening for me."

"Food was outstanding, servers friendly & efficient. Food coming out of the kitchen seemed to be a little on the slow side but in the end definitely worth the wait. Next time we'll try the outdoor patio, there were 2 larger groups inside which tremendously increased the noise level. We'll be back w/friends."

"The street outside Edendale, Rowena, is being torn up and street parking is at a premium unless one uses Valet which was not there when we arrived. This is obviously a problem for the restaurant.
However the dinner was wonderful, as usual. We were on our way to the theatre and the waitress was very careful to assure that we left on time. We especially like Edendale's unusual take on menu items, making the ordinary very special."

"Our experience at Edendale was nothing but excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was fabulous and interesting. Our stew was cooked to absolute perfection. Even though I do not always enjoy spicy foods, the stew was at just the right level of spice. The paneer pasta was flavorful and very different, but delicious. The vol-au-vent was wonderful. The puff pastry was just right. The noise level was high, but it was still a great experience nonetheless."

"We have been there twice and found much to like about the place. On our last trip the last minute pageant happening at the restaurant was a bit much. They could also stand to hire more wait staff, though good the servers are hard to come by. All in all we will go back, fun place good food, great space."

"There's a problem with parking as the street in front is under (major) construction. But after you get inside, the experience is very good. Love eating in an old historic building which has been restored and has really great ambiance. Service was good, food was good, had a group of 8 which can be tricky but it worked out fine."

"We enjoyed our dinner in this historic old firehouse setting. The full bar is is a wonderful plus. Currently there is somewhat of a parking issue due to LA road construction. We arrived early evening after a theatrical matinee and, since the valet was not yet available, we parked on the street a couple of blocks away. It was worth the walk."

"Our second visit wasn't as good as our first. Great old building with a cool atmosphere. Our table in the main room was too dark and noisy. I enjoy the patio area best. Service was attentive and polite. If you enjoy big California wines bring your own wine. It's a trendy anything but Chardonnay type list."

"loved the atmosphere and feel of the place...the veggies (kale and others) were tasty, not overcooked, and just yum! I think I should have just ate a bunch of the veggie sides b/c my fish dish was meh... I should have known better than to order a farm-raised salmon (even though it was from a "very clean" one) because there is a certain aftertaste non-wild fish have-blech. The mac n cheese was average, but the server and service was top notch! This place shines as a bar and not for fine-dining."
