"The Brunch was a great option and I think very reasonable for what you received. My only suggestion is during the brunch time hour if it can not be so dim. I have dined at night at Flemings and that is perfect but having brunch I felt in a different time zone and almost as if I could have taken a nap. I might have been apt to stay for a cocktail or more, but it was just too dim for a day time outing."

"My wife and I enjoyed our evening at Flemings. The Steaks were perfect, the service was very good with one exception. We each ordered a side of Mashed Potatoes and the waiter should have told us that 1 side was enough for 4 people. After we finished our dinner and the plates were being cleared the waitress at the table next to us explained to those guests that the side dishes were plenty big for all to enjoy and that 1 was too much for an individual.
Other than that great night."

"I have been choosing Flemings for a nice evening out for many years. The food this evening was downright poor. The greens on my salad were wilted, my entree overcooked. The french fries were burnt. The gentleman parking my car couldn't find the key (which was in the ignition). They came to ask me for help. Once I showed him the key, they explained that he's never driven before and they brought him in for extra help. I paid $17 plus tip to give my luxury car to a person who couldn't find the key - pathetic. There are plenty of steakhouses to choose from in Boston. I'm moving on."

"As always, had a lovely time at Fleming's. We went in before a show, had 2 hours to spare. The food was perfectly timed, not rushed, but still had ample time for dessert and our waiter was excellent. "My husband and I dine out every weekend. This was our first time dining at Fleming's. Food was fabulous - steaks cooked perfectly. Our wait person was totally unengaged, did not inform us of the specials (overheard the wait person who had the table next to us), nor did she offer menu recommendations. Our gratuity reflected our displeasure, which was unfortunate for the other members of her team who were great. We would have stayed for another drink and dessert if the experience was different. We won't go back anytime soon."

"I have been to Fleming's three times in the last 4 weeks. It's one of my favorite steakhouses and the food was just as good two nights ago as it has always been. I was somewhat surprised that the service was a bit slower than usual especially on a Tuesday night but still, out waiter was a gentleman and we weren't in a rush so it wasn't a big deal."

"We dined here for Easter dinner with the family. Fleming's is one of a number of high-end chain steakhouses in Boston and the reviews convinced us to give it a try. They offer filet mignon in 3 sizes - I ordered their special which was the Newport filet and stuffed shrimp. I was shocked at the size and flavor of the filet as it was very small and not tender at all. For the prices you'll pay, you'll do much better at one of the other steak houses in Boston."

"Flemings has very good steak, a wide selection of wines, but is really a place for suckers or people on an expense account who don't care a bit about their employer. For $40 and up, you get the steak. Although one comes with 3 tiny asparagus spears, most don't even have that much of a vegetable. So, on top of the $40 or more, you then have to pay around $10 for one order of vegetables or a salad. If you want a starch, it's another $9-$10. If you like blue cheese all over things, you're in luck. If you don't, you won't even want the mashed potatoes, which has blue cheese mixed inside, as does another of the few potato options. You'll have to work hard to avoid all the blue cheese in sauces, too."

"High hopes but ended up totally disappointed, too bad because our waiter was awesome and so were the drinks. I will say that my meal was well prepared, but the steak was nothing to brag about, just a tender piece of meat. My girlfriend order her steak medium well, it can out medium and COLD! It was as it the steak had been left sitting there for a while. They immediately gave her another with tiny stuffed shrimps. We usually get an apology or something on the house when the food it not made to our demands, but we got nothing. Although we did enjoy our desserts, everything else seemed so bland, no originality, nothing to truly savor, nothing that will have us coming back. Sorry, but Fleming's definitely flamed out."

"The entire experience was a very good one. The waitress was accommodating and very friendly. The filet mignon was cooked absolutely perfectly and seasoned just right. The wine list was impressive. The only downside was the dessert tasted like it was previously frozen. I went for restaurant week though, so perhaps they were just trying to standardize everything. Very pricey if you don't go during restaurant week. Overall I would recommend Flemings."

"Service was extremely slow. Our table of 4, ordering basic, popular items off of the menu, was there for 2.5 hours, which is much more than a leisurely pace. There were a number of times when we were looking for our server to get more water, something for the table, more coffee, etc. Caeser salads did not have any fresh parmesean cheese, bread was cold, but the steaks were excellent and cooked exactly right. The rest of the food was also great but the delivery took some of the shine off of the experience."
