indifferent: low, low mood lighting, cheerful hum, array of staff attending the table
needs work: heat applied to one steak and the fries was a bit off ("medium" bone-in ribeye was incredibly raw and fries a bit black at the edges but soggy); delays between plating the food and delivery to the table"

"We couldn't have asked for a better welcome or service throughout the evening. We were greated with happy anniversary wishes by the hostess and servers. Service the entire evening was spot on. Our steaks arrived properly cooked and sizzling. These steaks were ubdoubtedly the most tender and flavorable steaks we have eaten. Unfortunately, the grill cook was over exuberant in his use of salt. We seriously considered asking that the steaks be recooked without all the salt. Prior to desert our server presented us with a $25.00 gift card and a small box of chocolate as a token of our anniversity. All in all a pleasant experience but we were disappointed with the manner the steaks we seasoned."

"We started with the pork belly which was perfect in flavor, texture, and temperature. The steak was and always has been cooked perfectly and the sides we had this time were the mac and cheese and sauteed spinach. We told the waiter what we wanted in a wine and our price range and his recommendation was spot on. All-in-all it was a great meal."

"There was a glitch in the communication between OpenTable and Flemings, resulting in a 45-minute wait for our table. This was handled masterfully by the Flemings staff, attentive to our issue, very concerned that we were inconvenienced. As a result, it really just made for a nice time to visit before sitting down to eat. This was a customer/business dinner, one which I would happily do again, glitch or not. Well done, Flemings."

"Went there for Easter. Food took a bit longer than normal due to the larger crowd. Steaks were a bit below the temperature we ordered. Otherwise the experience was good. It would have made a big difference if our waiter would have been more attentive with drinks, etc. It makes a big difference when the food is slow if the service makes up with drinks, bread, etc, and keeps the table happy."

"We came here for President's Day for the All Night Happy Hour. Everything was great, the manager Sarah is very on top of things and friendly. We really enjoy dining here. Hits on the happy hour menu include: mushroom ravioli, crispy pork belly, french quarter BBQ shrimp. Off the other menus: we love the prime rib sandwich, The Prime rib burger, etc."

"While Fleming's thinks highly of their food, represented by their prices, they are hard to argue with. The steaks we ordered were cooked perfectly and were fantastic. When my wife ordered a salad the waiter mentioned it was a rather large salad and ask if we wanted to share it. Based on his description of the size of the salad my wife and I decided to share it which was a fantastic suggestion. They split the salad up into two bowls and after seeing how much was in each it was a good thing we shared. My wife couldn't have finished it on her own and if she'd tried it would have spoiled her meal. Overall it was an excellent meal with great waitstaff. Also if you're a Costco member you can pickup 2 $50 gift cards for $75."

"I enjoyed the filet mignon and scallops I had. It was delicious. Understand 2/15 was the day after V-Day. So it was very crowded and noisy. The only thing that I am not so happy was that I told the server that I would like to pack the food that I couldn't finish. However he completely forgot about it. So I ended up losting my delicious filet mignon. :-("

"This visit to Fleming's was my second, the first at this location. I had previously dined at the Fleming's located at the Domain, and had a fabulous experience. However, my husband and I decided to try the location downtown, and did not have a good dining experience. I had an 8:30 reservation on a Saturday night, wasn't seated till almost 9:00 p.m. (I had to check with the hostess twice to be seated, seemed like they forgot about me). It took about 10 minutes of waiting before our server came to take our drink and appetizer order. The restaurant wasn't terribly busy. My $40 steak was overcooked, but I was so annoyed about being seated late and the service, I just ate it anyway. I will not be returning to Fleming's."
