Wall & Water at Andaz Wall Street brings uncomplicated, unpretentious and stylish drinking & dining to New York’s financial district. Our Lower Manhattan restaurant features market-to-table comfort food, sourced from local Hudson Valley farms and markets, in a simple and elegant setting. The seasonal menus at our downtown New York restaurant use locally produced fresh ingredients and emphasize traditional cooking methods, simple presentation and exceptional flavors. The chefs at our downtown NYC restaurant have reinvented classic dishes while maintaining the use of traditional cooking methods such as smoked meats and homemade chutneys, as well as simple baked goods and mouth-watering rustic breads. Dishes are served on small plates, family style and a la carte. A varied seasonal wine list at Wall & Water is complemented by a full bar with signature cocktails. Wall & Water is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
"Buffet was very good offering cheese, olives, oysters, &shrimps.Dessert buffet included bread pudding, cheese cake, chocolate dipped strawberries. The strawberry paired well with my champagne! The main entree was offered via a menu which offered more breakfast items than lunch. Short rib was excellent, lobster benedict was good, fritatta blanc was okay needed more asparagus and mushrooms.. too much eggwhite and not enough taste. Also there wasnt much of a young-kid friendly selection... bagel and cream at buffet and waffles on entree menu. The service was impeccable and the staff were warming. An added bonus, the mother's received a rose! Would return but without the younger children.."

"We got to the restaurant and were seated, we were waiting for 2 more members of our party so we waited to order. The waiter had to be called everytime we needed something, he only stopped by once to ask how things were going. Twice when we asked for something, he said, "In a minute, I have to do something with another table first". The food was OK, not a large selection on the cold buffet or dessert bar. When one person in our party ordered coffee, he brought it, but spilled the container of milk all over my back, her purse, my shoes, etc. All I got was a "let me get your back" and a clean napkin. For a place that is as expensive as this place is, the service should not be so under par. Food was good, I have had better for less."

"There are too few of these on the east side of Broadway in the financial district. We were very happy with the food, the service and the noise level. Perfect for an early business discussion."

"Service was not good. Food average. During lunch they turned up the music way too loud then someone must have complained. This is a business lunch venue, not a club!"

"At this point we are regulars - and it's a lovely place to call home. New menu seems to enjoy mustards (salmon sauce and new chicken dish both). Lovely fresh ingredients. Perfect service. See you again soon."

"We visited this restaurant while on spring break to NYC. The food and ambiance were so nice and were a big break from the hustle and bustle of Time Square. This was best food we had during our entire stay. They had and extensive wine and cocktail menu and the service was impeccable. Icing on the cake was the decorated dessert plate, made especially for my daughter and we were able to meet the chef personaly. The entire experience at Wall & Water was one that we will never forget."

"This was not my first visit to W&W since I work evenings just a block away. This was my first visit since they have made changes after Sandy. The menu before the change was more interesting than the current menu and while the atmosphere remains pretty good it is not quite as special as it was. The waiter could use some more training."

"Located in the Andaz Hotel on Wall Street, this restaurant is high on offering an edited menu of GREAT food, great service great decor and reasonable prices. My hamburger with white cheddar cheese and applewood smoked bacon was cooked to perfection."

"We're becoming regulars here!! The staff could not be more congenial here at this hotel restaurant that feels more like a special neighborhood place. Sleek and sexy. Some very fun people-watching (two guys were busy picking up two girls at the next table - email addresses seemed to be exchanged, though they went home alone, it's a classy place, after all!) Don't miss the truffled chicken or the creamy polenta. Hopefully the menu will be enlarged again once all the Sandy troubles are in the distant past."

"Very good food, service, and decor. The only criticism I have is that it was a bit overheated the day I was there. I would definitely recommend this restaurant."

"Waitstaff was pleasant but not attentive or very polished. Food was basic. Not worth the money. The room is beautiful but you have to step up the service and food."

"Although we attended during Restaurant Week, we decided not to do the RW six-course tasting menu. We were very pleased with our entrees - burger, salmon, and chicken. A little surprised that they had run out of the listed sauvignon blanc by the glass. The dessert menu was limited, but we really enjoyed the PB&J special."

"Every time I eat here, I love it more. Lunch of salmon served over lovely red lentils cooked with cubed bacon with a balsamic reduction to garnish the plate. I'm telling you, delicious. A side of polenta with truffel oil...perfect. Don't hesitate because this is in a hotel - very worth it. Also has a generous Restaurant Week menu. Basically, choose 3 courses from their menu with only a couple of supplements."
