LaSalle Grill, a fine-dining restaurant and steakhouse, is born of the dream of experienced restaurateur Mark McDonnell. Like the restaurant’s namesake, noted French explorer, Robert de LaSalle, McDonnell set out to explore the uncharted waters of downtown South Bend, Indiana. In April of 1912, McDonnell opened a lively and exciting restaurant unlike any other in the area - LaSalle Grill.
LaSalle Grill is committed to providing guests with excellent service, great atmosphere, an award-winning wine list and, most importantly, delicious cuisine that is artfully and dramatically presented.
The Grill has been presented with the coveted AAA Four Diamond Award every year since 1996.

"Always a top notch experience. Ask Zoran the sommelier for guidance with your wine choice he is invaluable! Great to see the restaurant making a special effort for vegetarians and vegans. Big effort to present a constantly renewed menu, bravo!"

"Truly enjoyed this fine dining experience on my first trip to South Bend in many years. I was told by many that "The Grille" was a top choice for dinner, and they did not disappoint. My prime steak was perfectly cooked and too big a hill to climb so I had to leave some behind - sadly! Looking forward to my return."
