"The Hall Street Grille was awesome. The selection of food was great and our server made the whole experience a wonderful one. The parking lot is always packed, so it may feel like your squeezing into a spot. Truthfully, the packed parking lot was the only negative thing that I could say about the restaurant. The atmosphere, menu choices, the food itself was great and I would recommend other couples to dine here."

"Hall Street has long been one of our west side favorites providing downtown quality without the drive. For this occasion we purchased an offer on living social and we weren't disappointed. The menu was an exclusive offering and everything was great. The server, Sundiata was another gem. He was probably the most dynamic server we have ever had; a self described "cork dork," great knowledge of all of the food preparations, and a great sense of humor. Hall Street never disappoints."

"My wife and I took her mother and her aunt to dinner. I had a Bavette steak (not sure I spelled that correctly). It was very good. We tried the lamb gnochie starter too. We had a domain droughin pinot noir bottle at half price - yeah Mondays. I think our guests liked their steaks too."

"The menu was unique and creative. It was well executed and delicious. I didn't think it would be this good, because its in Beaverton. I was happily surprised and we're planning in going back to try some of the other dishes.
I had the pancetta wrapped prawns with spicy grits. Just got back from a trip from New Orleans and these grits could be served in NOLA! The aberskivers (sp?) we're fantastic and I strongly recommend them. You will not be disappointed.

"Live in Beaverton for 33 + years and use to frequent H.S. a lot but the menu has shrunk and the prices have gotten LARGE. Then server was nice but he was all about SELLING. I travel a lot and visit a lot of different establishments all over the world and I will not be coming back with any consistancey. I enjoy finding good values and great food and H.S. for the price is average. I am not a name guy I am a people and value person."

"Some coworkers wanted to go out for "a few drinks", so I decided to up-level the conversation and proposed Hall Street Grill. It was a big hit. The group that just wanted a couple of beers after work found plenty to drink from HSG's well-chosen taps, and in at least one case the allure of the appetizers I ordered (such as the saffron arancini) they ended up having some eats after all. On this occasion I forewent the steaks and seafood, going instead for the wonderful ravioli and the legendary bleu cheese salad. All cooked to perfection and impeccably presented. Just one more night at one of the best restaurants in greater Portland. Bravo!"

"While fast-food eateries predominate Beaverton, hidden off Cedar Hills Boulevard is the Hall Street Grill, a French bistro-style restaurant serving delicious apps, entrees and desserts. We enjoyed the roasted beet salad, pork and prime rib, followed by a delectable flourless torte. The server was knowledgeable about gluten allergies, and was attentive but not overly so. The owners are local, and also own Oba in the Pearl, which features Nuevo Latino cuisine."

"Unfortnately Hallstreet fell well short of my expectations on this night. The steak that I ordered medium was well done... The waitress did agree with me and offer to have another steak cooked medium but since my company ordered fish and we didn't want to eat at seperate times I stayed with the Well done steak. Hallstreet did comp a dessert but when a $35 steak is completly cooked wrong I think they could have come up with something a little better. This was supposed to be a nice night out that we enjoyed dinner together and at the same time."

"It had been a couple of years since I went to Hall Street Grill and much has changed. First, what was a once vibrant restaurant with full tables and an overflowing bar is now quiet with a lot of empty tables, especially for a Saturday evening. The restaurant seems to now attract the over-50 crowd and it's no surprise that the food is tailored for the older person's palette. Our waitress wasn't very good and took off for 10-15 minutes at a time. After pouring water into our son's sprite. Our appetizers were mostly deep fried, which explains why we had to wait 25 minutes for french fries as the "fryer was backed up". Dinners were not very enjoyable but edible. Best part of the nigh was the Sat. 50% discount off bottles of wine priced over $50"

"My boyfriend and I went to Hall Street Grill's Easter Brunch. It was our first visit and it was wonderful. The service was exceptional. The waiters and waitresses were so friendly and attentive. The food was over the top as far as good tasting. It was really good. The ambiance was good but the noise could have been a little quieter but I have been in worse places. All and all we were very impressed and will definitely go back again some time. We feel we have found a secret place."

"Startlingly superlative food worth driving to Beaverton! If the executive chef really has roots from Genoa on SE Belmont, it would go far to explain the deftly combined, imaginative flavors of everything from cocktail to appetizer to salad to main course to dessert. The service was courteous, warm, and knowledgeable.
Very expensive, but I would have to say they deliver the goods. I hope they will keep some affordable options so we can return more than once a year. Based on our meals last Friday, Hall Street can hold its own with any of the top-notch downtown restaurants."

The kid's meal weren't ready, and had to remind the server. After the few minutes, were told that the food was about to come out. It turned out that it wasn't true. It didn't come out until I was almost done.
- Server didn't even ask for the drink refill
- Server forgot to bring the dessert (for the kid's meal).
- However, he didn't forget to charge us 18% tips (a part of Living social deal?)

The kid's meal weren't ready, and had to remind the server. After the few minutes, were told that the food was about to come out. It turned out that it wasn't true. It didn't come out until I was almost done.
- Server didn't even ask for the drink refill
- Server forgot to bring the dessert (for the kid's meal).
- However, he didn't forget to charge us 18% tips (a part of Living social deal?)

"Two out of three meals at Sunday brunch were not very good. The version of huevos rancheros was not at all like we had ever experienced before and mostly inedible (they didn't charge us for this meal). The french onion soup had no broth in it at all.Just a very salty bunch of onions and bread with cheese on top. Very dissappointing. I will probably go back for lunch or dinner, as this was my first bad experience, but not for brunch."

"We visited Hall Street Grill for a birthday. Wine list -- great. Service -- very attentive. The food was flavorful -- especially liked the spicy chicken fettuccine (although there could have been a bit more chicken in it). To our pleasant surprise, wines over a certain price are half off on Mondays -- it made the bill considerably more reasonable than it would have been -- about $100 with a salad that we shared, two entrees and a bottle of wine."
