"This is a LOT OF FOOD. For meat lovers. Vegetarians can forage from the all you can eat salad bar. For the meat lovers, be careful not to fill up on the salad bar. If you do save room for dessert, I highly recommend the Tres Leche Cake."

"I had a great experience on wednesday April 17 when I dined in this restaurant. There were 3 of us and we all loved it. The service was excellent not to mention the food. We had the papaya cream for dessert and it was truly refreshing. If you are ever in San Antonio this is a must eat restaurant."

Review 5 for Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse - San Antonio
"Arrived for an Easter Sunday Brunch around 3pm. Party of 6. Valet parking is $8 with ticket validation at Fogo de Chao. The nearest parking lot is about 150 feet away and you would pay more there. Seated immediately. The salad bar is great. Didn't care for the heart of palm. The meats were excellent although most in the party did not like the lamb. They thought it tasted too gamey. I didn't try it. Lamb is not popular in Texas anyway so it may have actually have been mutton I told them. The pork sirloin with parmesan crust got rave reviews. So did dthe filet mignons. Very good service. Had desserts at the end including a terrific tres leches cake which appeared to be the favorite of the three we ordered."

"The bartenders could use a few more lessons in mixing. This is my 4th visit and will quit spending money at the bar after this visit. I have never had a good experience at the bar."

"Was surprised at how good this Fogo was in San Antonio. I have been to the ones in Houston and Rio. The Houston location is not so good. The one in Rio was excellent and so was this one. Great experience."

Review 10 for Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse - San Antonio
"Whe I made the reservation I asked for a quite corner table as it was our anniversary, the staff were very accomidating to this request.Once we were seated our waiter ended up with two very large parties to attend to as well, so it was as if we were an after thought. He would asked us several times if we needed anything but it seemed as if when we did, like water or soda refills or a plate we had to flag him down. Several times when asked if there was a specific cut of meat we wanted we would request it but never got it until the very end of our meal. When we asked for our check we were suprised with a piece of strawberry cheesecake that said "Happy Anniversary", very sweet of the staff."

Review 11 for Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse - San Antonio
"You will not be disappointed if you go to Fogo de Chao. Both the salad bar and the meat selection was incredible. Plan on spending about $49 per person for food (salad bar and meat service) so make sure you go with an appetite. I would go there for a special occasion or a romantic evening with your sweetheart. I highly recommend."

Review 15 for Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse - San Antonio
"We are huge fans of Brazilian steakhouses. From the moment we arrived it was different than we're used to. The waiter seemed like he didn't want to be there and the service wasn't like Chama our usual place. My wife gets more excited about the cheese bread than the meat. We had to ask for 4 different baskets because the bread was definitely from the night before and just microwaved. Finally at the end of dinner our unenthusiastic waiter finally admitted that the other bread wasn't fresh by saying "finally, some fresh made bread." We felt like it was one of those restaurants that don't care if you come back. There are more people in line.
The meat wasn't great either. It was from the night before. I won't go back. Go to Chama Gaucha."

Review 16 for Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse - San Antonio
"Reservation was done way in advance and still they sat us by the entrance where everyone in line was just staring at us while we eat. It was very uncomfortable. I still like Chauma Gaucha better. When I called to the restaurant a few days prior the employee that answered was rude when I told her I had reservations through open table."

"Booked a reservation for 8pm, arrived 20 mins early and were told they were over booked and that the wait was 40 mins. We waited 1hour and 20 mins to be seated. The food is delicious but be careful reserving for Valentine's Day."

"The restaurant was outstanding. The food just melts in your mouth and with multiple servers and waitresses attending to you every thing you need is fulfilled. We even receive a free lunch or dinner to come back again. I personally can't wait to do so."
