"We took our daughter to Fogo de Chao for her 18th birthday. We had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was perfect, the food was amazing and our service was beyond anything we could have asked for. It truly made her night special. The wait staff seemed to anticipate our needs and were very friendly and accommodating. Our daughter was also given a beautiful complimentary dessert for her birthday. It was a wonderful evening she will never forget. We would highly recommend this restaurant to all our friends."

"Unique experience. The meats and salad bar were fantastic, however the side dishes fell short. The service was great. If you are on a limited budget pay attention to the price of cocktails, drinks, and desserts it adds up very quickly. It it definitely worth the experience otherwise."

"This place promises awesome food and they certainly deliver. Located on the Plaza. Several choices on the salad bar and unbelievable choices of meat come to the table. If you like a particular meat you can request it and your server will make sure it comes to your table. Food was hot and delicious, definitely try Fogo de Chao! Because it was Valentine's weekend when we went, the restaurant gave us a gift card to celebrate - that we will be happy to use very soon."

"Great Experience. And amazing opportunity for a carnivore! Great selection of meats and at your beck & call the entire time. A unique dining experience well worth the adventure. Be sure to bring your eating pants!

"Most of the steaks were overdone. Each time I asked for medium I was cut off a piece of steak and it was medium well. The parmesan encrusted pork chunks were inedible--dry and very tough. But the service and waiters were very fast and friendly though it seemed as though they were using fake accents to go with the theme of whatever cut of steak they were serving."

"This restaurant is fantastic if you're on a low-carb diet! There are so many different choices of meat - and all of them were fabulous. While a little pricey for children, you'd definitely get your money's worth with teenage boys. We didn't have many sides but the polenta fries and sauteed bananas are great. Finish with the papaya cream and a drizzle of creme de cassis. Yum! We're definitely going back."

"I took my father for an early dinner here. He enjoyed himself but I found it to be a little claustrophobic because of how close the tables were and the servers and waiters running every which way behind and in between the tables. For the price you expect a leisurely dinner but I felt like I was rushed and hurried out the door. I understand that flipping tables is where restaurant make money but at $50.00/person ++ we should have been entitled to have a conversation with our meal."

"Having wanted to try the cuisine at Fogo de Chao for quite some time, I figured that the 2013 Kansas City Restaurant Week promotion would be the perfect time. I love meat, but I am not a huge meat-eater, so paying $30 for an evening at Fogo would be much better than paying $48 for the entrees and salad bar. My friends and I even received a complimentary dessert because it was Restaurant Week.
Now, food the review of the food. I was very impressed with the lamb offerings--it was my first time having lamb. The chicken wrapped in bacon, as well as the filet mignon wrapped in bacon were very good, as well.
My advice if you plan on dining at Fogo--savor each specific offering you try, and be ready to pay a hefty bill."

"I've been to KC's Fogo several times now as well as the location in Philadelphia and Houston. I am never disappointed. The service is always fantastic and positive. The salad bar is always fresh and expansive. The meat selection is the best I've seen with some incredible cuts of steak and chicken along with several others. While $50 does seem like a lot, you get unlimited access to the salad bar, 15 cuts of meat and their four side dishes. Restaurant week is even better with a $30 price tag and no modification to available items."

"This was my first time at a Brazilian restaurant. While the salad bar has non traditional items on it, I enjoyed it very much. I loved the fresh mozzarella balls. The cheese rolls served at the tables were amazing. Most of the meats I had were wonderful. "We went with a group of 7 to celebrate 3 birthdays. The food was excellent and so was the service. All of the servers were exceptional. The restaurant was a fun experience. We will be back again!"

"Now, you don't have just one Server at Fogo De Chao. You have about 15! The second you flip that token, it turns into a slurry of meat explosions! Sirloin cuts, pork ribs, pork loin, filet mignon, bacon wrapped chicken, ribeye, and more! Once we tried everything we flipped the token back and discovered our favorites were the leg of lamb and (of course) the filet mignon: all cooked to your liking. If there is something you like, just notify one of the many gouchos and servers and they will send it your way. No need to use he token. Next time I'm just going to have the goucho with the lamb leg just leave the whole thing at the table!"
