"Excellent experience overall looking forward to going again. Celebrated a graduation dinner with the family. This was our first time here and everyone loved the food. The servers were all fast and attentive the kept on bring out mashed potatoes, banana, and polenta without us asking for anything. The salad bar had so many options I wasn't able to try them all but what I did taste was good. Of course the best part was the meats that just kept on coming, there was never a long wait for meat and it was continuously changing. Not a fan of the chicken it was a little dry, but all the steak, pork, sausage was delicious. Some were a little salty for me but my family loved it. We even had a papaya creme dessert which was delicious too."

"...this is the place for you. Endless cuts of steak as well as lamb, pork and chicken come flying to your table accompanied by mashed potatoes, polenta and plantains. If you haven't prepped by not eating for several days prior to dining at Fogo de Chao, you'll run the risk of exhausting your appetite before you've even gotten through round one.
It's great fun, however,... guaranteed to add to your girth... and that's before you even consider the salad bar.

"The restaurant is quiet nice. We were seated in a very back room and felt a bit isolated from everyone else. You might want to request a main dining area to get a full experience. Our server was absolutely amazing. He gave us good recommendations on drinks and desert and made sure that we got to try all the meats. File Minion and Parmesan crusted pork is a must try. Very flavorful, very nice texture,melts in your mouth. As for drinks- Brazilian special Beer and Strawberry Lemonade with vodka (i think)were delicious. Even though meats are quiet filling definitely leave the room for desert or get it to go as we did. Cheesecake with caramel and nuts was yammi"

"What a great place for a special occasion gathering. The noise level was a bit on the noisy side and that's ok if you are with a group of friends having drinks and good food. Service was great and the food was delicious and tasty. The meats were cooked to perfection! There was just so much to eat, I guess I will have to go back a second time. If you are not a carnivore, the salad bar had quite an array of delectable salads and sides. It was scrumpious. They had so much to choose from and had alot of interesting prepared salads as well. So go eat and enjoy because we sure did."

"Overall quite disappointing, service was mediocre - the rodizio wait staff didn't rotate nearly as often as is necessary for a churrascaria (Brazilian steakhouse). The food left a lot to be desired too - meat wasn't the premium quality you expect from a steakhouse, several parts of the salad bar were empty and the banana frita (sweet fried bananas) were burnt."

"Fogo de Chao is our favorite restaurant in LA!! For red meat lovers there's nowhere else you'll find a place where every cut of beef is of exceptional quality and you get to try all of them! We appreciate that at Fogo you can get your meat cooked exactly the way you like it (and for us that's RED) and the staff treats you like honored guests even though you're not rich or famous. "The salad bar was pretty good but the meats were excellent! We especially loved the 3 different types of lamb. While the filet was tender, it lacked a bit of flavor. The plantains were very tasty but they brought the sides out a little too early and they got cold."

"We ordered a coke when we first got there. We had to order it again because the waiter for got. Then when the bill came we were charged with two cokes when we only had one. When the lady went to fix our bill, it took her nearly 20 minutes to get back to us. We were ready to leave at that time.
The people serving the meats were very nice and attentive."

"Been to Fogo in Las Vegas and loved it so much, booked for Valentines day in Beverly Hills. When you spend $100 per person+ there is a certain expectation level, but it was not delivered. Very bad night for Fogo. I am sure their choice to waaay overbook and cram in tables affected the service as well as the food quality.
The Hostess did a remarkable job handling all the people. I would promote her to manager. The rest...big FAIL.
We will go back because we can see what a great job they can do based on our Las Vegas experience. So hopefully that one will allow them to redeem themselves."

"We went on Valentine's Day and the restaurant was packed with many more waiting to get in. Despite our being ten minutes late, they graciously honored our reservation and seated us immediately. Despite the crowd and the noise, it turned out to be a surprisingly intimate and joyous evening. The staff was friendly and solicitous. The service was very good. The food was excellent. The entire experience was great fun. We plan on returning."

"We have been to Fogo many times and have always had a great time. This time was not as great which was disappointing. We had a reservation for 8pm and when we checked in we were told that there would be a 45 minute wait for our table, 30 if things went well. There was no apology with the statement nor an offer to provide us with a drink or something else. The hostesses were very rigid and unapologetic. I understand that they were busy, but I thought they could have been more gracious. Service at the table was spotty. Our waiter only came over a few times and we were offered only 3 kinds of meat. We had to eventually ask for specific different cuts to be brought to us."

"We had a reservation for 8.15. We had to wait in a HUGE line just to check in!! After we checked in we had to wait in the bar for a while too. They seated us at 9pm for our 8.15 reservation!! Absolutely unacceptable! The food was delicious yet they have to figure this out. I heard they always take too long to seat people. Other restaurants don't have this problem, so Fogo de Chao is clearly doing something wrong."

"We have been coming to Fogo De Chao for years, at least 3x times per year cause our children love it. The service was the worst ever. It took 15 minutes of trying to flag someone down to get our first beverage. I had told them in the reservation it was our son's 11th birthday. Guess who's coke they forgot. When the servers came around w the meat, if you hesitated or didnt interrupt when they were serving someone else to see YES i want some too, they left. If they didnt have rare, they give you medium and didnt come back. We wont back for a while now. Very disappointing and if i can dissuade my kids, i will. And, they try to charge you full price for young kids. You have to be mindful of bills."

"Fogo De Chao is obviously very popular and reservation is necessary! Good for people who enjoy meat, the house special picanha was the best meat in my opinion. This is not a place to go to have a lovely conversation with someone. It was very loud due to the busyness. I think it is best compared to a higher end buffet type place. The salad bar was good, nice fresh items, but the meat is why people go here."

"My first time at the restaurant was during DineLA. We had made a reservation and were a little late but they still seated us right away. At first the servers were very attentive and let us know how things worked. They even asked us if there was anything in particular we wanted to try and they would send it to our table. We asked for the filet mignon, but it never came. Some time later we were asked the same thing and responded with filet mignon and again it never came. If they had never asked, I wouldn't have minded so much. But since they specifically asked us twice and said they would have it sent, I was bit disappointed when the meat hadn't arrived. The food was great, however at the end of the day I was underwhelmed by the service."

"Made reservations at 6:30 and arrived 3 mins late. Checked in and was taken in immediately. It was the last day for DineLA, and it happened to be a friend’s birthday as well. This was my 4th visit. It was my friends first time at the restaurant and having churrascaria. Fago de Chao didn't disappoint. He enjoyed himself immensely. Sure, Fago de Chao is pricey but you get what you pay for and the wait staff is amazing, courteous and patient."
