The sirloin stake was goo but not very good, not to say exelent. I would give the meat a B-
The potatoes were cold inside, we sent it back and they were hot outside and room temperature inside.

And one last thin, the waiters should use a serving tray to serve the food.

"I brought my mother to celebrate Mother's Day and it was absolutely impeccable. The service Mary Ann and Nicole provided was exceptional. Several staff members and managers came to check on us and to wish my mommy a happy Mother's Day. We loved the special menu and photo as usual. Morton's is by far the best restaurant I've ever had the pleasure of dining."

"I've dined at Morton's for several years at different locations around the country but the Mother's Day visit was the worst experience at any restaurant of In the same class. The steak that I ordered was tasteless and the lobster bisque was bland , the creamed corn side order included bacon even though it wasn't stated on the menu. The overall experience was bad only to find out that they are under new management."

"We were not aware that Morton's was sold to Landry's. We have visited Morton Steakhouses all over the country in the past few years and have been pleased with the high quality of the food and service. The service was excellent, but the quality of the food was poor. We will not dine at a Morton's again."

"I've been to a few Mortons around the country. I'd place this one in the middle of the pack. The steaks are always good, but you PAY for what you get at this place -- like most big steakhouse chains. They have a great wine list, but could do MUCH better with their beer selection."

"Bottom line: Head north of the river for a sophisticated dining experience. We liked this least of the high-end Chicago steakhouses we've visited. The food was no better and more steeply priced. The ambience is dated 70s deco, loud and congested. We were seated 30 minutes late for a mid-evening reservation, albeit the manager apologized. Diners at adjacent tables were on cell phones constantly. Overrated."

"My family dined at Morton's upon my father's birthday request. He loves a good steak and had never been. We were all extremely disappointed. The service was great but the food was subpar. There wasn't a dash of seasoning on any of the food, including the creamed spinach or sour cream mashed potatoes. I don't think anyone at our table was pleased. My crab cake was the best thing I had that night. Steaks were too tough and sides came out cold including the "hot" molten chocolate cake. I will never return. The ambiance was also great as we had a private area."

"Food wasn't horrible and servers tried hard. The place was just way too loud and our server had too many tables to look after. She couldn't show us the proper amount of attention. It was not the fine dining experience I was expecting. I wasn't blown away by any of the food. I've heard these steaks were the best, but honestly I've had better meals from restaurants that were a third of the cost. Again, it wasn't horrible, but definitely didn't live up to expectations. I will give our hostess a thumbs up. I let her know it was an anniversary celebration when booking the reservation. "We had a private room for a family group of 10, offered to us by the restaurant when we made the booking. It was perfect: spacious, beautifully set table and chairs around the walls perfect for the children . Food and service was outstanding from start to finish. We had the cold sea food platters to start and then steaks of course and lamb, and the crab legs, plus delicious vegetables. The chocolate soufflé is a must! Highly recommended for a special occasion. The restaurant even gave us our own menus with a personalized note at the top. It was a delightful evening in every way, special thanks to Jessica for all her attention to detail and the staff who were totally attentive but unobtrusive."

"I've been to this location several times. They have a 3 Course Lunch that I'd recommend to everyone. Seafood, Steak choices, soup or dessert and chocolate mousse or cheesecake (both are excellent). We took a peer here for her retirement lunch, and they printed special menus congratulating her and took a group photo and inserted it into a card! I'd recommend Morton's to anyone. "This resturant was a very pleasant and great place to eat. We brought my stepson and his girl friend and they were very impressed. As usual the food and atmosphere were superb.
You had a new mushroom dish and brussel sprouts they were excellent/we also had augratin
potatoes and as usual we had spinach and mushrooms as usual were excellent. I am not a wine drinker, but rest of my party was. They said the wine was excellent. We especially like the 3 course dinner you offer.Have never ever had a bad meal or disappointed.The only thing I would like to see is smaller portions on the side dishes, I hate to waist food and always have to leave some salad and sides. It would be nice to be able to order 1/2 amount on salads and sides.Desert fabulo"

"I preferred Morton's in Portland, because it was more cosy. At Wacker's place is a little bit noisy, but the food was great as well as the service. I would definitely come back."

"This was a night I will never forget! The food was excellent!! The service was great, from the moment we walked in the door to the end of our dining experience. The drinks and sides are a little on the pricey side for me, but it is a star steakhouse in downtown Chicago and I am just not used to that. (Since I am not from Chicago).
My table of 4 loved the loaf of bread we received while looking over the menu. We split the first loaf and loved it. Our server said he would get us a second loaf, but then the restaurant ran out, so we were bummed about that. However, that was the only bummer of the evening. Even the desserts were delicious, did not taste like frozen or bought products at all.

"The food was great as expected for this price point. The service was good although it was busy and took a bit for our food to arrive. I would highly recommend making a reservation if coming on a weekend night.
We order Steak, the crab cakes , and a couple appetizers. Everything was good and as expected. The combination steak options are a good choice, I selected the one with scallops. We don't normally spend this much for dinner, but we'd likely not select this restaurant the next special occasion dinner. I wouldn't say we felt we got our money worth but we were full when we left!
Some of the seating is close together So I had a nosy neighbor staring in my mouth the whole time.....so don't pick this place for important private discuss"

"Service was poor. Waited 15 min for menus and another 20 for beverage order. Food arrived Luke-warm and just average. Waiter eventually asked how was the steak (we ordered other entrees than steak) we stated it was so-so and did not see him again until the bill arrived. High-priced food that was lacking along with poor service. We had reservations at we're seated by the cook's and waiter pick up area."

"I really wanted to like my experience -- especially when I picked this steakhouse over 5 other steakhouses within walking distance. I'm not a food snob, but when my medium rare steak comes out light pink in the center and more cooked than my dinner companions' "medium" cooked steak (which was also over cooked), then its not just a little off. Also, I understand wine markup -- especially in a restaurant. But please don't offend me by offering wines by the glass for LITERALLY the same price as I could buy the bottle in the store. 2x mark-up -- very fair. 3x mark-up -- I can justify it. But 4.5x mark-up is just plain offensive. Our waiter was certainly friendly, bubut that isn't nearly enough to make up for the rest of our experience."

"I had a ribeye that was very good. Not as good as my personally cooked steak but not far off. The sides were tasty and more t han adequate in size as me and my girlfriend had mashed potatoes and asparagus. The price was high but was expected. Overall ee were pleased wuth the food and experience."

"I loved the overall warmth and friendliness of the staff. We were celebrating our anniv. and everyone congragulated us. Our reservation was for 6:30 and we were seated on time. An anniversary picture was taken and given to take home. Lovely experience, wonderful food. Can't say enough for good service. We will be returning."
