"With the quality and price I expect very good if not excellent service. Waited over 15 minutes before we flagged down a waitress to get any service at all. Partial settings of flatware on the table (do they keep what doesn't look used for the next diner)? I've dined here many times and have always had a first class experience. This was truly a disappointment."

"Consistently excellent, our favorite special occasion restaurant. Food is very well prepared and presented, the restaurant is quiet enough for easy conversation (especially in the back two rooms), the ambience in the historic inn warm and inviting, the service hits the sweet spot of professional yet friendly--fine dining, but comfortable, not in the least pompous; prices are reasonable given the quality. We have never failed to enjoy ourselves here, and have had some evenings that were truly memorable."

"Brought some family visiting from out of town to dine here. They absolutely loved it! It was a perfect evening! Service was polite and prompt but not too intruding. Our table had both entrees from the menu as well as the nights seafood and steak special- everyone was pleased! Spectacular desserts including the cloudless chocolate torte and a berry crostini!
My grandparents especially loved the history and the charm of the Inn and liked hearing ghost stories from both our waitress and the chef. Overall, everything was perfect- it was a wonderful "Grand Finale Dinner" for our guests visit! This restaurant is a treasure and a great place to impress visiting friends with both its fantastic menu and its cozy and historic atmosphere!"

"We were really impressed by the food and drink selection at the Worthington Inn. The wine list was great (for Columbus, probably average for Chicago, et al).
The food was outstanding. We have a soft spot for locally sourced ingredients. The Worthington Inn impressed beyond belief. We started with an excellent cheese plate, then had the roast chicken and the pork two-ways. Incredibly flavors and textures throughout the meal. Perfectly done.
Another note worth mentioning, the scotch selection was superb and one of the better ones in Ohio. They have a couple that go beyond the standard run that's out there."

"I grew up in Columbus, but have lived in Chicago for the last 12 years. We picked Worthington Inn for dinner with my family when were back in Columbus for a visit. Chicago is a total "foodie town" and I'll be the first to admit my husband and I are now complete food snobs. So I wasn't expecting too much from the Worthington Inn. I was completely wrong! We all had the most amazing dinner and a great server to boot! The food definitely rivals any I've had back here in Chicago. It was also a nice surprise to find that they have half price bottles of wine on Thursday.
Make sure and try the goat cheese bruschetta it was beyond. I highly recommend Worthington Inn and I know we will be back!"

The ambiance was very romantic as well; we ended up staying for 2 hours at our table and really enjoyed ourselves. It's a little pricey but you do get what you pay for in the way of the afore mentioned perks. The bar area looked very comfortable and welcoming. "The Worthington Inn has that historic, New England feel that is just hard to find in central Ohio! While the menu is pretty contemporary and really fresh and local, the place oozes historic charm. Between the fireplaces, intimate rooms, fireplaces, local historic art, and lots of dark wood and colonial warmth, you just aren't going to find this kind of a place in the burbs. But with that said, it is pretty expensive. The food is very good, but it just feels very rich for central Ohio. The roasted chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and root vegetables is $26. Their "Beef Worthington" is $34 which is Hyde Park territory. Again, the chef is brilliant with saffron in the butter and all of that, but it was just about 15% too much."

"Our group of four had a wonderful dinner at the Worthington Inn. On a snowy Saturday evening, we appreciated being seated near the fireplace, and the service was impeccable. Our main courses were the Duet of Pork, Beef Worthington, Roasted King Farm's Chicken, and the Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes, and everyone enjoyed them so much that we couldn't help trading bites of this or that. We ended by sharing two Buckeye Sundaes, and even my husband, who usually doesn't like a peanut butter/chocolate mix, was very pleased. I'd love to go back."

"The ambience was good, a little noisy though. I had read many reviews about how good the scallops were and was disappointed to know that they were out of scallops and chicken, and by the time I placed order, the pork too. When there are very limited options on the menu and 3 out of them are out, it hardly leaves any choice. We ordered the beef worthington and the crab cakes. Food was excellent, loved it. Desserts; what I wanted to try I was told would take 20 mins, hence skipped it. A great meal like that needs a good dessert to finish, and was a little disappointed."

"My wife & I have been attending for a while now only because of the food. Why is it that we must speak to the person waiting on us first. This person started pouring our water without even acknowledging we were sitting there. Such a disservice for such a great place to eat. We are actually contemplating going to eat brunch elsewhere because your service is that bad. We heard the person at another table speak to this same waitor first because he just wasnt friendly. So it wasnt just us. It looks like you should invest in some training with your staff."

"The hostess sat us next to the fireplace in the main dining room. We felt like we were in New England on a cold winter night. We starting with the Thai calamari which was outstanding. The dish was delicious, we couldn't get enough of the sauce! My husband had the Beef Worthington. The steak was cooked perfectly, and potatoes were amazing. Per the recommendation of our server I ordered the scallops. The risotto was cooked perfectly. We will be back soon to try Prime Rib!"

"Very disappointed. Seated us near an entrance area where people enter. Cold night so we were faced with cold air. Considering you pay in a restaurant like this for the atmosphere it made enjoying our expensive meal difficult.There are far more restaurants where you can enjoy yourself for a lot less money.Crossing this one off my list."

"Not a first time visit but have to say the Worthington was not on top of it's game this time. Service was apathetic at best and the Chef's special (some French casserole) was probably one of the worst meals I've been served. Don't you try these out before extending to your patrons? I'll be back....but with a bit more apprehension. There are many competing restaurants in Columbus in the $100 bracket that do not disappoint so I hope this was a fluke."
