Nestled at the top of Historic Main Street, every detail of a rustic, Italian country farmhouse gives Grappa its romantic atmosphere, down to the terrazzo tile, rough sewn wooden beams, and grapevine motif. The menu reflects a more refined and sophisticated approach to food. This gourmet Italian style Ristorante serves the likes of Grappa's Famous Osso Buco. The wine menu reflects a commitment to Italy and California. Grappa is known for its amazing presentation, attention to detail and fine service. The glass walls of this restaurant will give you an extraordinary view of the activity on Main Street.
"I highly recommend this restaurant. The scenery and the ambiance was beautiful. My wife and I had Calamari Friti and Lobster Ravioli as antipasta with varied entrees. The Gorgonzola Huckleberry Cheesecake was delightful. I highly recommend this place and the cities atmosphere is why I moved there."

"I have to say this was by far the most disappointing dinning experience in Park City. While the food was ok - We have to warn you - check and double check the wine you order from their list and what they actually bring to the table. Not once but twice they brought us a different year than what is shown on their wine list and tried to passes it off as the same thing. For a restaurant that prides themselves on wines - this was very disappointing. The experience really started the meal off with a bad taste in our mouth. Not sure we would go back."

"Delicious food and excellent service. The atmosphere was inviting and the views of Old Towm were beautiful. The server was very knowledgable and recommended a fabulous wine. Can't wait for the outdoor patio to open!"

"The food was very good but not great. The restaurant was very busy, so our service started out good but slowed considerably as the evening progressed. I agree with previous customers' comments that the ID check on everyone is a bit excessive and off-putting, but at least consistent, so have your ID ready if you plan to order an alcoholic beverage. We loved the background music... all classic stuff from the 40s and 50s. The wine list is comprehensive but a little pricier than most places of the same caliber. It is a good place to go with a family after skiing."

"Everything was great at this Resturant except the food was just ok for the price. I got a pasta with chicken that cost $32 and it was a very boring dish. They said the pastA was made in house but it didnt taste that way. We also had a spinach cnochi appetizer and that was nothing special either. This Resturant either needs to lower their prices or change the menu. This ambiance was awesome and so was the staff."

"A very popular restaurant for a reason. The food and service were incredible. We had Cioppino and flatbread as appetizers as well as Caesar and house salads. All were excellent. For our entrees, we had filets and Risotto. The filets were well seasoned and cooked to perfection and the clams and mussels in the seafood risotto were tender and deliciously prepared. I will definitely return to Grappa during my next trip to Park City."

"Grappa seems to be back. This is a unique restaurant in a town where most look the same. I find it a nice respite from the ski scene that's so prevalent elsewhere."

"We were a party of 4 returning to Grappa after a two year hiatus. I must admit that the food simply doesn't live up to the expectation or the prices. My wife's red snapper dish was lackluster and small and served on the cool side. My lamb shank was tasty but the presentation was weak. The food at Grappa is inferior to this owner's other restaurants in town."

"Delicious food and cozy atmosphere. Excellent service as well. We usually have wine with dinner but the bottles of wine were extremely expensive. We opted to try the Hugo, which is a delicious cocktail and the Bellini martini, both of which I would recommend. The focaccia bread is a delight! I had the chicken piccata, not prepared in a traditional way, but the homemade fettuccini underneath was delicious. My husband had the cannelloni and we all thought that was outstanding and unique stuffed with braised short ribs. My daughter had the risotto and was quite happy with her selection. A lovely meal after a day on the slopes!"

"We come to Grappas every time we are in Park City. I am 58, my husband 59, and we are married 38 years. When we ordered a $100 bottle of wine to celebrate our last evening in Park City, the waiter insisted that we show our ID cards. I hadn't brought my purse, so the manager had to come to our table to verify that I was, indeed, over 21. This was not flattering, we didn't like being scrutinized at our age in a fine dining restaurant, and it did make us very uncomfortable. We didn't see them ask for IDs at other tables. The red snapper was overcooked, and dry. The spinach ravioli was the highlight of the plate, and it was very good. We probably will not return to this restaurant."

"I arrived on time but just when everyone else did. I felt the staff was a bit overwhelmed at the reception area. There was a delay getting to my table. But once there the very busy staff did pay attention and the food and wine arrived promptly. The wild salmon dish was excellent and perfectly prepared."

"Any bottle of wine there is at least triple the price that you would pay at a liquor store. Since you can only buy alcohol in State liquor stores in Utah the prices of wine do not vary from store to store."

"Grappa is one of our favorite spots each time we visit Park City. We love being able to walk to dinner and then easily down Main Street for shopping. The food is always wonderful. Service is perfect-we never feel rushed (unless we decide to be in a hurry). Ask for a table with a window view-gorgeous.
We feel equally welcomed when dining just with two of us or with our three kids. They even have a kids menu (which you wouldn't expect).
Make sure you include this one in your trip- you'll be pleased."

"After knowing we were hungry, we were told that the snapper was 12 oz. we figured how that's a big filet of fish we ordered it. It was $42 or $43. It came out to about 3.5 oz. I requested my fav $10 of wine and got served and charged for an $18 glass??? Not knowing I drank it.. She thought I'd like it?? Classic: waiter recommendations were the most expensive. Not about the $ but principal. The party with us had the ossining bucco which he said was good. Great ambience. Not in a hurry to go back.. I'd go to Edge in the Canyons for the $ any day though. Much better."

"This visit was a reminder to READ your email confirmation from OpenTable - I'm in Park City for work, not related to the Sundance Film Festival. Beware-prices are raised to match film industry's wallets. From OpenTable: "During the Sundance Film Festival: Chimayo, Grappa & Wahso will be offering a 3 course Prix-Fixe menu for $80–tax, gratuity & alcohol not included." I didn't see this but I should have know when there were no prices on the menu but I was with my girlfriend, in an unfamiliar city and it was a bit chilly outside so I decided to stay. Two prix-fixe orders, two glasses of wine, tax and tip was over $200. Food presentation was nice but the quantity and flavors were not impressive. The dipping sauce for the bread excellent."

"Very disappointing experience at Grappa. I have eaten here a number of times over the years and even have had business events here. Historically found it to be a good option for a higher end meal in Park City. After my last visit I won't be back. The food quality was mediocre at best, and given Sundance film festival was taking place they took an aggressive approach to price gouging with a required $80 prix fixe menu. I would have no problem with that if they disclosed this when making a reservation, but simply presenting you with a limited menu with no price disclosed anywhere is tacky, even for people who can afford it. And if you are pulling a scheme like this, you should at least deliver quality in a non-rushed environment."
