"Absolutely fantastic selection of food to accommodate everyone's taste. The Wonton Shrimp, crab cakes and flatbreads are a big thumbs up. Also the Prime Rib when it's on the menu is not to be missed. Just go people :)"

"The reviews I read on this restaurant were up and down... this is definitely NOT a DOWN.. The wine choice was exceptional, the service was well paced, we did order one item at a time, but it was delivered to our table with a prompt smile.
We started with the Braised Pear and Blackberry Salad, this was Arugula, balsamic glaze, candied pecans, Canadian brie... EXCEPTIONAL to share,I think we would have ordered 2 because we could have eaten it during the other courses I had planned.
Course 2 - Tournedo Surf & Turf, this was Shediac lobster, crab, tiger prawn, hollandaise, again amazing, great balance of flavor. Course 3 -Cajun Chicken Egg Rolls , WOW these were a delight
Course 4 - Cheese Board - TO DIE FOR .....this is why we went - WOW !!!"

"Firstly I have to say that finding good service in Calgary can be...challenging, but our server at Tango was excellent. We had a 4 course meal with dessert and wine pairing that was also excellent - the food was brought out at the right tempo to allow us to chat and sample without feeling rushed, the portions were just right for sharing between 2 people and the ingredients were fresh and interesting in their composition. We will definitely return - and OMG the tenderloin with Bison bacon is divine!"

"Tango provides interesting food choices without the big prices. The shared tapas concept provided nice choices for ladies. Three ladies shared five tapas dishes, a dessert and a bottle of Melbac for $105. We were full and even left food behind. The server was helpful in guiding our dish selection to accommodate dietary needs. They were attentive without being overbearing. Will go back to try thr halibut and chips. Looked really good!"

"Food was great however portions were small if you're with a group of 4. We offered two plates each but found it hard to share and let everyone have a chance to try each dish. I think this restaurant is better for couples portion wise. Service was a bit slow when it came to gettin our dessert and bill."

"We were having a family dinner, I had my 2 year old son with me. The food was excellent, could not complain there, however the waitress was dressed in a sheer blouse. Completely see through. I thought that was inappropriate, if I wanted to see her bra, belly button and her entire upper body, I would have gone to a club, beach or swimming pool. For a restaurant this was not classy and I would think that with the excellent food you'd also want a classy look for your waitresses.
Her service was poor and she was always nowhere to be found. It made the dining experience slightly uncomfortable having to wait for drinks forever and just having her not pay attention. Thank god the food was amazing."

"This was our 2nd time at Tango. Both times we have had a large group - anywhere from 9 to 12 people including a couple of children and teens. We all pick 2 dishes and share it all. The food is really good, the service friendly, and it's just a really fun way to share a meal together."

"I have been to Tango on a handful of occassions now, and although the food is generally good, I find the service quite slow. We ended up waiting between courses yet again, which is made worse with kids at the table. The Sunday 3 course dinners are a great value, but so is the regular tapas menu. Portion sizes are generous."

"The menu has changed since I was there last and the new additions are delightful! "We had a mostly enjoyable dinner at Tango Bistro. The food was very good - well prepared and tasty. A couple of items were not as served hot as we thought they should have been. The service was attentive and the waitress was friendly. We were seated at a round table in the back corner of the restaurant which we though would be great for visiting. Unfortunately, the music was quite loud in this section of the restaurant and although we asked our waitress to turn the volume down, it remained the same. It was also very warm in this area - that was rectified part way through the meal. Overall, we still had a great time and would go back but not sure we would want to sit in the same section."

"Great, delicious food. We ordered a few items on the menu like, Turkey Sliders
House Made Ravioli, Seared Scallops, Beer and Cheddar Soup, Cream of Wild Mushroom Soup, asparagus wrapped with prosciutto and tenderloin surf and turf. Everything was perfectly cooked with the exception of the turkey sliders. The turkey was overcooked and the meat was really tough even though it was flavorful...I will never order it again.
Over all it was a great experience, great service and everyone in my group of five were satisfied."

"The lunch experience was great. I would like to mention that although we enjoyed our meals tremendously my lunch partner ordered the brie and chicken salad with sweet potato fries. The fries were very overdone, really not edible. The waitress did not check on us and when she did my lunch partner gave back the fries because she was almost done her sandwich. Even though a replacement order was offered it was too late. There was no compension or offer of maybe a salad or something else. I found this odd.
I would like to say that this does not influence our experience it was just odd that they would serve fries such as they did! I had the salmon and it was excellent!"

"Food was amazing, the staff were very knowledgeable of the menu and wine list. When ordering multiple items as part of a meal I did find it to be a little pricey though. I would come back for special occasions though."

"AVERAGE TO POOR - non-descript, feels like a chain, empty, average (slightly soggy) food, great cocktails! Nice server but not really skilled - spilled a drink on our table, looked at it, said "Oh no, it's on your menu", and walked away without cleaning it. Spent way too much time checking for our rezo - the place was empty so we could have been seated and once we were enjoying drinks she could have sorted out the missing (unnecessary) rezo."

"There are a couple of other Tapas finds in Calgary and Tango just doesn't measure up. The service was really good, food was prepared and served quickly. The menu items we selected just didn't measure up. One piece of tenderloin I could not chew through. This can usually be spotted when preparing the steak for the grill unless the restaurants higher priority is maximizing profits short term and not preparing and plating the best meal. Other menu items were excelent but it is hard to look past one bad piece such as I had."

"This was our first visit to Tango, but certainly not our last. Following a recommendation from one of my husband's co-worker's, I decided to make a reservation for my husband's birthday this past weekend. We were told about all the great menu options available and were not disappointed. Even though it was just the two of us and we had a fantastic meal, I would love to return with another couple to be able to enjoy more of the menu choices. I absolutely love the idea of tiny desserts after enjoying the main course options too. It's just perfect when you're feeling full, but still want to finish things off with a sweet treat. Our server (who's name I have forgotten) was top-notch. An excellent experience and highly recommended!"

"We always find this restaurant to be very enjoyable. This visit was also very good except for the mixed grill and the desert. The steak on the mixed grill was so overcooked and dry that you could't even swallow it and the other meat on the dish had an odd flavor. We had the gingerbread cookie ice cream sandwich with the bourbon, bacon ice cream....the cookie part was hard as a rock and we couldn't bite into it. The waitress never asked how the food was (service is usually very good). Despite these couple of things, dinner was great. Beautiful salad, perfect scallops, and the chicken egg rolls are to die for."

"You can't get much better value in Calgary thank you do at tapas - the tapas themselves are always a good size and the menu and selection of tapas is diverse with a nice use array of ingredients. Wine selection is great and staff is consistently fantastic. This is quickly becoming a favorite for our household!"

"The first two times I went to Tango Bistro I absolutely loved it, however I decided to take my parents for the Sunday dinner and was overall a bit disappointed. The service wasn't as engaged or attentive as the first two times, and the Sunday menu was good but not great. It still remains one of my favourite tapas-style restaurants, I will just go back and order the normal way instead!"
