"My husband took me to Grille 66 for our Anniversary and it was just wonderful. The sommelier was very attentive and every time he passed our table, would pour our wine. Our waiter was excellent and kept an eye on us, tending to our every need. The food was just delicious. We had a wonderful evening and will definitely visit again."

"I really enjoyed my night out at Grill 66...however, I go to the best restaurants around and for the price, the food should be better! My calamari was "fair" and my caesar salad was not up to par. The bread could have been fabulous, but it was medicore. The wait staff were friendly and the atmosphere very nice, but for prices like that, I prefer Morton's Steakhouse or the Palm."

"We were staying at the marina and selected Grille 66 because it was easy to walk to. Our server was great, food was perfect, and the selection was fantastic. We could easily go back 10 times to try all of the other options on their menu. In addition to everything perfect the prices were nowhere near the top of the range that you sometimes see when all else is spot on."

"Kudos to the chef for cooking our delicious steaks per the request. Our waiter was very good too. My only complaints were that my request wasn't adhered to from my reservation; and the Maitre'd and hostess were not that friendly nor service oriented.

"We love this place. Probably eat here at least 10 times a year. I had the chopped salad which was excellent. My wife had the beet salad which she thoroughly enjoyed. For main course I had the NY Strip which was perfect and she had the sea bass which she always enjoys. We shared a piece of their chocolate cake which is one of the best you will ever have."

"I think this is quietly the best restaurant in the Ft Lauderdale area. The menu takes classic Florida ingredients and puts a nice twist on them to make them a unique dish. I had the creole snapper and my wife had the seafood grill special and they were both fantastic. To top it off, the view over the intercostal is lovely and there are great outdoor tables that we didn't even know about until after we were done. Be sure to request one."

"One of my favorites in FL. Missed on a few things but still very good. Fish dish was a little spicy for me, which is different than the last time I ordered it. After dinner hot beverages were lukewarm and room was loud. Overall 66 is still one of best restaurants in town."

"Grille 66 was one of the best dining experiences my wife and I have had since moving to South Florida from New York. Outside dining view was great!Seafood dinner was excellent and complemented by an excellent wine list.Does wonders for deserning palates.Service was outstanding and my waiter Habib is worthy of notable mention.

"I go to this restaurant every time I am in the Ft. Lauderdale area. The food is always great and the service is the absolute best. Their steaks are better than Morton's, Ruth Chris, and any of the NYC steakhouses. The seafood is awesome as well."

"My 2nd visit to Grille 66. The food is typical for a high-end steak and seafood restaurant...high-quality and tasty. It is expensive, but no more than comparable places. I had the filet which was very good, although I prefer it at places like Chops Lobster Bar a bit more.
Still, it was an enjoyable meal."

"We are regulars here. While we had a very nice time and service could not have been better there was something going on last night that resulted in it being just a little off. For starters, we showed up and the gates were closed so we couldn't get to the valet parking. We later learned that there was a wedding at the hotel which took up most spots. Well, this is a first class restuarant and the hotel they are located at should not be able to prevent the restaurant guests from easy parking. All food was excellent but for my NY Strip Steak. Cooked perfectly but for some reason it was very chewey which is very unusual here. Grille 66 is usually perfect and I look forward to returning and these few kinks being worked out."

"Strike One: Pull up at 8:30PM for and 8:45PM reservation and the valet says there is no space. Yet he has pulled up a car behind me that is leaving. On the way to the self parking lot I see at least a half dozen empty spaces. I guess he was having a busy night. He should be fired.
Strike Two: I mention to the hostess at about 8:35 PM that we had a reservation for 8:45. She says they won't be able to seat us early with an attitude. I didn't ask to be seated early. I guess she was having a rough night as the person before me was complaining about waiting too long.
Strike Three: Bar tender ignores us and walks off. 5 minutes later we still haven't been served.
I won't go here again"

"This was quite a pleasant surprise to my husband and I. The setting was lovely - soft lighing and classic steakhouse interior. The food is delicious - the calamari is the best in the area and the steaks were perfectly cooked. The window view is very romantic and a reminder of why we live in South Florida. It is now one of our top places for a special dining experience. I highly recommend it."
