"Here are my lowlights: decent food but not worth the price, service is inattentive to say the least but what can u do when they automatically add 18% no matter what (btw I was a party of two not 8+) and worse yet they don't tell you so the likelihood you "double tip" is very high if u don't pay attn...overall, so many other choices and would NOT recommend"

"Steaks are great but we usually get the salmon. Cooked perfectly every time and we get them with mashed squash and grilled vegetables.
There's a chef somewhere in there, as opposed to a bunch of cooks - It's one of the few restaurants in Miami that you don't regret eating at afterwards (nothing loaded with garlic / butter / etc).
The meal alone is great but if you throw in a glass of wine and soup of the day or a dessert, you get the full experience. Expensive, but worth the price."

"This time, the food was very good, but not great as usual. Still recommended, though, but Saturday night is very busy (and therefore louder). Service super friendly as always.
Two strange things: the 18% gratuity is now added BEFORE tax, so you pay Uncle Sam (well, his Floridian nephew) tax on the gratuity, too. They said the Labor Department made them do this, since the 18% is no longer optional. Secondly, other customers told us that the servers now only get 15%, and the owner takes a 3% cut out of their gratuity. I hope that's not true !!!"

"Came to Baires Grill on a Monday evening with a couple of friends and had a really nice time. We spent a long time figuring out what wine to order (50% off bottles on Mondays!) and which appetizer to match with it and never felt rushed or hurried. The portions were large- the Paradilla for two really could feed 3-4 people and it was cooked perfectly! Overall we had a great experience at this little gem on Lincoln Rd :)"

"Terrible Service. One of our party didn't even get her entree. Instead of offering a salad, appetizer, anything at all, the manager told her it would be about 15 minutes to get her steak. Even though she clearly said she did not want it butterflied - guess what? Thant's how she got it. Poor service all the way around, from the hostess to the management."
