"Another enjoyable dining experience at Bib Bowl in Lincolnshire, Illinois. Reservation was honored as usual. Wait staff met us at the table, provided silverware, etc. water and told us about specials. We order a drink and appetizer, lettuce wrap which came within a few minutes and was shared. Good size portion; ample for two and delicious. Seasoned just right. This was followed by stir fry. Tried a new sauce which was tasty and added to the entree. Food was prepared as requested and resulted in another enjoyable evening."

"Wonderful food, decent portion sizes and prices are too bad. When we first were sat (with reservation), it took the server a good 5 minutes just to acknowledge us and take our drink orders. In my mind, that's unacceptable, especially since it was a special occasion.
But, all in all, there wasn't anything to complain about. Server was very polite, food was good and fresh and the ambiance is wonderful for a night out with the loved one(s).
The only thing I would probably change is the tables are WAY TOO close to eachother. We were sat at a booth and honestly could almost touch my elbow to the table next to us. The servers were "squeezing" through as they walked by and sometimes bumped the table. Huge inconvenience!! CHANGE THAT"

"Consistently excellent food in great Asian styles. I never had a bad meal as they will customize your dish the way you want! I started with a cool IPA beer which was excellent while my wife tried a strawberry Sangria which was not your typical tooty-fruity wimpy Sangria.This one had a real kick. The chicken/dumpling soup was very good with chunks of chicken and spouts with a side of sliced hot peppers.
My entree was shrimp/scallop's on a bed of fried rice with bamboo shoots, ground peanuts and some hot red pepper slices.
Great beer on tap helped cool me down from the hotness.

"Tina the manager at Big Bowl is great. Very friendly to all the customers and goes around to tables checking on how things are progresing with their meal. All the wait staff is great!!! We really enjoy being sat with Sam or Oscar as our waiter. The food is alway excellent and they have a great bar, with lots of selections."

Were seated next to the wait staff station, and could see into the kitchen. The noise of being next to the kitchen ypically doesn't bother either my wife or myself, but with the noise, we glanced into the kitchen, and we were very disappointed to witness garbage on the floor of the kitchen and water pouring over a sink(?) onto the floor while they were cleaning. Really was a turn off to the experience.
Waitress was pleasant, but slow. Had to wait for refills of iced tea on repeated occasions.

"For the money, I have had much better Asian food at other restaurants. There was a lot of rice but the overall portion was small. The obience was very nice and our waiter was outstanding. My friend and I were celebrating a mutual birthday and he over heard us talking about it. He brought us a wonderful dessert to share but I would have never ordered it for the price. I thought it was rather pricey. I did have a great glass of red wine though that was a special for the night. The price was great as well.....$4.00!Overall, I would not be running back even though it is close to where I live."

"I had the stir fry with shrimp and loved it. Also, our server was fantastic! I was looking for a low calorie option for the stir fry and our server suggested having the shrimp and vegetables steamed, instead of stir fried, and having the sauce on the side. It worked out great! I used very little sauce, opting for soy sauce instead. I had a huge meal that was low calorie and delicious. I highly recommend the restaurant. Great experience!"

"Food was tasty if perhaps a bit oily and over seasoned. I don't think anyone is going here for subtlety. Knocked a star off in service and overall, not for the wait staff, but because they were clearly overbooked. Although we were right on time for our reservation, we had a 20 minute wait to be seated. Uncool."

"They were behind schedule so we had to stand a while in a crowd, a situation ameliorated by the attentive bartender.
We have a celiac diner so we always appreciate a server with knowledge of gluten free preparation. We had one here, who was also just very friendly and helpful overall.
Big Bowl food is always good."
