SHI is a gorgeous new waterside Pan-Asian restaurant in Long Island City. Featuring a full bar and lounge it is the perfect spot to start a wonderful night on a date, or just friends going out together. It’s gorgeous dining room has floor to ceiling bay windows that showcase the entire city skyline like you have only seen in pictures. "Went here with MIL and hubby for mother's day dinner. Great ambiance, trendy and nice view of the city at UN building. Little pricey entrees and cocktails. Rolls and appetizers same as hood prices.

"Shi is one of my fave restaurants! The view of the city alone is worth coming here! My husband brought me here for mothers day we brought our 3 month old and it was great! We came here alot before we had the baby and were happy that Shi was able to accomodate. They only have booster seats (really cute ones) so we had to keep our baby in his infant carseat on a chair which was fine. We had the bacon wrapped shrimp, crab ragoons and lychee calamari all were delicious! The medusa roll was great if u like spicy! The pineapple fried rice is the best I have ever tried anywhere else!"

"The view and ambiance was a lot better than the food we ordered. the general tso chicken and the chicken fried rice we ordered both were bland and not very good. We were seated literally 6 inches away from another couple in the back upper left corner of the restaurant and it was very awkward. I spent a lot of money trying to get the night perfect for my girlfriend, however the experience at Shi fell short of our expectations."
