"I have only recently come to the realization that I love Mediterranean food. I took my boyfriend here for dinner on one of his visits to DC because he loves Mediterranean. I am always a little skeptical of more adventurous foods but I have to say, Meze was a great choice! Their red pepper hummus is so delicious and they have these meat balls made with lamb and beef that are to die for! We really enjoyed the outdoor seating, even though it was a more chilly night. They had a heater outside that made the cold bearable. The service was great too; our waiter was very attentive and nice. I will definitely be going back."

"Had a nice time overall with a group of friends. If you have a large group, they bring you to the top floor which was pretty low-lit, and a bit to dark compared to the nice light we could see outdoors. The service was extremely slow to get the food, and for 15 people, it took 3 hours to get to dessert! The food is absolutely delicious which makes up for any lack of energetic or liveliness."

"We were there for brunch - the french toast was fantastic. Eggs were a little overcooked.
Noise level was pretty low, but this was at noon on a Sunday. I'm sure it's a totally different place at night."

"Had a great experience here with a couple of friends for a Sunday night dinner with a LivingSocial deal. Our server, Guergana, was excellent. Drink orders were taken and delivered promptly and her suggestions for food were great. I enjoyed stuffed grape leaves, hummus, stuffed potato skins with lamb and stuffed zucchini. Their mojitos are also very good - try the raspberry! I'm excited to return for happy hour for $4 food plates and discounted drinks!"

"I wish I could dine here more often. I'm working my way through the "small plates" menu and have yet to find one that I didn't like. While everything I've had thus far is great, I especially recommend the rack of lamb with mashed potatos and the scallops. The asparagus with lemon is also very good. My husband couldn’t get enough of the shrimp offerings. I can’t comment on the desserts because (despite my best efforts) I never have room."
