FIRST Food and Bar located on the 2nd floor in The Shoppes at The Palazzo, brings authenticity and character to the neighborhood bar concept back to life, minus the kitsch. This hip, yet comfortable restaurant and lounge is set in the heart of the Las Vegas strip and has the vibe of a late-night spot blended with the casualness of a local eatery.
From the high, open ceilings to the tribal tattoo imagery embedded in the floor, FIRST reflects an industrial, urban design. The furniture mashes up styles that are modern, vinatge, and gothic set to a palette of dark, warm colors making the more than 10,000 square foot restaurant feel intimate and edgy. With floor to ceiling windows overlooking Las Vegas Blvd. The menu features American eats and drinks created by Executive Chef Sam DeMarco. Delicious, affordable and familiar are on the menu year round.

"Ordered the steak frittes. I had ordered this last time (a while ago) and they messed it up. They messed it up this time as well. If you cannot cook a flat steak properly, take it off the menu! The other food was good, but would not go back."

"My co-workers & I wanted to end a long week with a great dinner & we succeeded! We had a great table overlooking Las Vegas Blvd and the food was amazing. 2 of us ordered appetizers to share & were happy with our choices, The goat cheese soufflé was to die for and my favorite thing! The waitress was fun & very helpful! Looking forward to going back & trying other things!"

"A bit difficult to find, down a long hallway where the Venetian and Palazzo connect. Bar atmosphere with tables overlooking a bit of the strip. Seemed on the quieter side considering there was a big show in town, but that was fine with us. We opted for a bunch of appetizers instead of a meal. The food was tasty. Still over $110 for 2 people, First Food and Bar is not inexpensive. I would go back."

"We had a gift certificate from Restaurant.com which they would not honor, so the experience was disappointing since that's why we went there to begin with. Food is good and variety of "different" choices was good, but not likely to return."

"This was one of my favorites in Vegas. Went with a small group for brunch and liked the super friendly and attentive wait staff, great food, and the bottomless French champagne for only $10. I would definitely recommend this place. Lots of fun, and good music as well."

"While the menu options were superb and the food was outstanding, the service left much to be desired and really detracted from my experience. Our waiter did not give us his name, did not offer any recommendations and brought the check to the table without offering a dessert menu or additional drinks following dinner. We had to request the dessert menu to be able to order dessert. I expected better service from a place that offers these prices. I might return but only with a gift certificate or other comparable incentive."
